Thank you guys for liking the last chapter. I understand that a lot of you were disappointed by lack of Maaneet in it. Well, all I can say is that the chapter is important for Maan and Geet as they move forward in their relationship.
Also sorry for late updates. Hopefully things will get better and I will be able to go back to at least two updates a week. Thanks for your patience.

Chapter 30
As soon as they reached inside the bedroom, Maan turned to say thanks to Geet but stopped short as she fished out her phone.
Maan – "Geet it is 11:00 in the night…kisko phone kar rahi ho itni late"

Geet just showed her hand asking him to wait.

"Acha listen…I need a favor yaar. Can you arrange for a weekend package for a cottage in Goa along with flight tickets."

Geet jumped excitedly on the bed – "Yes!!! Dekhna Maan this is a full proof plan. Three of them just need a vacation. And Goa mein, Meera and Dev can get some private moments as well after Vicky sleeps…nahi"
Maan was in awe as he looked at her exuberance. She was a darling who found her happiness in her family's happiness. He always respected her but today it reached a new height along with a rush of warmth as he realized how effortlessly she had accepted his family as her own. She loved Dev and Meera just like she loved Rahul. She cared for Daadima as much as she cared for her own parents. A new emotion surged through him as these thoughts raced through his mind.
His trance was broken as she threw few clothes on the bed.
"Err…kya kar rahi ho tum"

Maan's eyes popped out of his socket as Geet lifted a red…wait is that a see through negligee with a thong….

Geet turned to see Maan staring at her hands. Suddenly realizing the enormity of her actions, she hid the chemise behind her back – "woh…woh"
Maan just shook her head and walked to the study before he could embarrass her or himself any further "Yeh ladki sach mein pagal hai…pata nahi kuch karne se pehli sochti bhi hai ki nahi…God that nighty…that was sexy and it's color contrasted with Geet's…shut up Maan…ab phir se raat ko shower lena padega….yeh ladki mujhe kahin ka nahi chodegi"

Meera and Dev were quite emotional when Geet gifted them the tickets.
Dev tried to make some protest but Maan silenced him.
"Don't want to hear a word from you two. You both need this weekend. Moreover Vicky bhi hai tum dono ke saath so there are no excuses. Go and enjoy"
Later, while packing, Meera blushed hard when Geet gave her the negligee.
Geet rolled her eyes shying her blush - "Oh come on….you are getting so shy as if it is your first honeymoon"
Meera slapped her arm – "Acha, by the way what is it doing with you?"
But Geet was just unfazed – "uh uh uh…don't worry hun…it is brand new. Never used because don't need to...at least yet" Geet finished with a wink as Meera roared with laughter. (Geet, you are too good at saying truth without letting other person know the reality)
Dev and Meera left with a very excited Vicky.
Sunday
Maan was getting bored as Geet had gone to spend some time with her parents as Rahul was on business trip. Dev and Meera were also on their vacation.
He sighed missing her as he flipped through the newspaper for the second time. Suddenly house felt so quiet without her. She was always running around, doing some masti or the other. Every corner of the house now was covered with her touch and it all felt so empty without her tinkling voice and musical laughter.
Daadima as if reading his thoughts said as she sat along Maan – "Geet ke bina ghar suna suna lagta hai…nahi. Dev, Meera aur Vicky bhi nahi hai aur aap toh kuch baat hi nahi karte. Man kar raha hai Geet ko wapis bula lein"

Now even you also don't touch it. Agar aap chalate hi nahi hain toh use nikal dijiye. Aaj time hai, why don't you do something about it…hmmm"
[Ok, now don't glare…I was thinking something. Your bike is lying around like that only from a long time. Earlier you were so possessive that you will not let even Dev touch it. Now even you also don't touch it. If you don't drive then sell it off. Today's you have some time, why don't you do something about it…hmmm]
Maan nodded and after giving it a thought went to make some calls. He found a top notch dealer who was ready to tow the bike that very day and also had a ready buyer who was interested in this model of the bike.
After a long time, Maan had started to spend time at home and as Geet was also not around he decided to take Daadima to ISKON temple. Daadima had been asking Dev for this and Maan decided that he should take more responsibility over the weekend to let Dev have some free time with Meera and Vicky.
After temple visit, Maan went to the dealer shop – "Daadima, bas 5 min ka kam hai. Mr. Singh said that buyer will be here at 5:00. I will just meet them, finalise the deal and come. Waise bhi, I am not much bothered about the price so it should be quick."
