Khushi was adamant to commit suicide as she felt that Arnav wanted to get rid of her so that he could be with Lavanya. Arnav stops her from doing so and tells her the truth about why he married her.

Our source form Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? tells us "Khushi thought that Arnav wanted to kill her as he wished to be with Lavanya. So she decided that she would commit suicide as she did not want to come in between them. However Arnav stops her from doing so. When Khushi demands to know the real reason, he gets angry and reveals the truth as to why he married her. Khushi is stunned to hear this; she is hurt on hearing Arnav's misconceptions. At first she does not tell him what the truth is and pretends to act normal as she feels that he will not believe her. But later when Arnav taunts her about being cheap, she retaliates and discloses the truth." But will Arnav believe her?

There have been many misunderstandings between Khushi and Arnav. Finally the truth seems to be coming out in the open. But will an ever suspicious Arnav believe Khushi, what will she do to prove her innocence?

Arnav says "I did not intend to tell Khushi that I know about her and Shyam's relation but she forced me by doing such a stupid thing. But I can't believe that even after I have told her she is acting so indifferent and behaving like nothing has happened. I don't understand how she can be like this."

Khushi says "I have finally learnt why Arnavji forced me to marry him. How can he believe that I would do such a thing? Even if I tell him the truth, he will not believe me, so what is the point in doing so?"
