I don't understand Arnav's philosophy

Arnav thinks that khushi and shyam are having an affair.He felt that if he tells this to anjali then she won't be able to bear it so he decides to forcibly marry khushi and then divorce her after 6 months?But what will happen after 6 months?Khushi can again 'trap' shyam and then shyam will leave anjali and marry khushi.then why ahould arnav leave her after 6 years?instead he should ahve told her that he will never leave her and break the marriage so that anjali's marriage will be safe.i don't know what's there in arnav's mind.maybe he is thinking that within these 6 months,once anjali gives birth to her child,he will disclose the truth to anjali and get them divorced.then he won't bother whether shyam marries khushi or not.i guess that must be his plan otherwise it's really stupid to divorce khushi after 6 months.
