Sharon Prabhakar who rocked the pop scene a decade back, re-emerges once again with a brand new album 'Dilruba'. After a gap of almost five years she makes a comeback to rein the position that she left vacant for so long. Being a theatre personality and pop diva she could barely stay away from art and creativity for long. She decided to take a plunge into singing again on the insisting of her 18-year-old fans across Jalandhar, Patiala and Rajouri. She used to receive thousands of fan mails asking her to come back and finally she decided she had to sing for her fans, as they want her. This acted as a motivation factor for her. "I have had a busy life for all the while I was missing, but I would constantly feel guilty for the lack of time needed to nurture an album. I was looking for a song that would make my blood tingle," she says. And she found the music of album 'Dilruba' and especially the first song invigorating with resounding appeal. "It's Arabic instrumental music, which is played to the rhythm of hip-hop." She is very enthusiastic about her new album.

Also she makes sure that she gives a styling video to the track and is very excited about it too. "I have gone blonde just for this video. I didn't want the Sharon to look like Sharon for this video. They have created a Marilyn Monroe pout from nothing. At one point, I heard Rohit say 'I want six foot long lashes' and then I ended up with vampire lashes. They later decided to make me wear a white wig, but it has turned out so well," she adds. I will be seen flying down 20-feet in my video. I have been the sort of person who always thinks out of the box, and nothing stops that," she adds.
