Hi to all,

Sorry for the gap in updating...I was busy with a few errands. Firstly I need to tell you Phase 3 had started in this thread...sorry forgot to mention it at the beginning of this thread. Secondly, I am really disappointed that some of you refuse to comment or press like..so I have decided that I will only pm those that regularly comment. As you know I am sending over 600 pm's now. Anyone not commenting will come off my buddylist.

Part 29

Looking like an elegant beauty Khushi walked into the office, hiding her pendent inside her kameez. She liked to keep her relationship quiet, even though most girls would have enjoyed flaunting it about. It was ASR for God sake! She took big strides feeling happy that Arnav is back at the office.

Aman intercepted her from going into her cabin. She scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

"Aman is everything all right?"

Aman fixed his glasses and came a little forward. "Everything is not oright Khushi". He looked concerned about something. "Khushi yesterday was the deadline to finalise the deal with Gulshan & Sons".

"Yes?" Khushi asked curiously.

"So why did you not finalise it when I told you that ASR had asked you to do it?"

Khushi remembered and then covered her mouth disbelieving that she had forgotten to do it.

"Hey Devi Maiyaa! Aman I forgot.."

"YOU FORGOT?! Khushi you made us lose a 2 million pound deal! How could you be so careless?" He shouted annoyed at her.

Khushi began feeling really upset. "Aman I promise I did not mean to do it...its just that..."

Aman cut her off and turned around and then faced her. "Khushi you have no idea what you have done...this was a good opportunity for us and you messed it up big time! I wonder how ASR is going to react..he will be really mad.." He shook his head in disbelief. Khushi stood there imagining Arnav's reaction to her stupidity.

"Khushi your so unprofessional.."

All the staff gathered round gossiping about what Khushi had done and how she had made Raizada company lose such a big deal.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" roared Arnav walking into the office. Everyone dispersed and got immersed in their work again-such was the effect of the great ASR. Aman came forward to explain what had happened. Arnav noticed Khushi looking away tearfully and looking embarrassed about something. He kept his gaze fixated on her.

"Sir the Gulshan & Sons deal you wanted Khushi to finalise yesterday..she forgot to finalise it". Arnav looked shocked and looked at Aman. "I was just saying.."

Arnav looked at Khushi and then walked over to her. "So what if she forgot.."

"But sir how could she be so unprofessional...the deal was worth millions.."

"Aman she must have forgot genuinely...and my loss is her loss so she would have not done it intentionally".

"But sir.." He angrily cut Aman off.

"ENOUGH AMAN!" He gave him a final warning with his hand. Aman walked off knowing that he was not listening to him. Arnav was looking at Aman walking away that he felt Khushi grab his arm. He looked down at his arm and she was sobbing. "Khushi?"

"I'm sorry Arnav I messed up the deal...I didn't mean too...I was missing you yesterday so much that I forgot".

Arnav took her by the shoulders and made her face him.

He wiped her tears with his fingers. "I am not worried about the deal as much as I am upset you shedding your tears like this". She looked at him confused, he was meant to tell her off and scold her.

"Khushi they rang me yesterday as to why In had not finalised the deal so I spoke to them and finalised it.."

She looked at him not believing him. "Really?"

He nodded his head. "Really...now smile a bit". She began wiping her tears. He smacked a kiss on her cheek. "Arnav stop it!"

She playfully pushed him and went into her cabin, while he smiled on.

Anjali, Sonu and Sia had gone into a nightclub. Sia was dressed in the most minimalist clothes one could ever imagine. Anjali was dressed in an elegant dress. Sonu kept looking at Sia with pure lust while Sia kept flirting with her gestures.

"Anjali want to dance?" Sonu asked her knowing her answer.

"No Sonu in a bit".

"Come on Anjali..whats the point coming here if we don't dance".

Anjali began talking to someone over the phone and gestured him that she won't dance yet. Sonu took the opportunity to ask Sia. Sia obliged leaving Anjali sitting and talking over her mobile. As soon as they went on the dance floor the song changed.

Sia put her arms around Sonu and began swaying madly. Sonu laughed and began touching her waist.

Anjali put her mobile in her purse and looked at her boyfriend and friend having a good time.

Anjali looked on feeling plagued by the words. The doubts began creeping in her mind.

Sonu looked over to Anjali and waved at her asking her to join them- she smiled and declined them. Her mind said she was just suspecting for no reason.

She kept remembering the distance these few weeks Sonu was maintaining. She drank another glass of wine.

Anjali began getting flashbacks of all the time he used her to scrounge money off Arnav. She had tears in her eyes.

She looked at Sia enjoying being in her boyfriends arms and her rage increased minute by minute.

She got up and went over to them. She pulled them apart stumbling all the while.

She took hold of Sonu and kissed his lips looking at Sia all the while. After the kiss she hugged Sonu and fell unconscious leaving Sonu and Sia afraid thats she had started suspecting.

Khushi sat correcting some files. She was working diligently to prove to Aman and her self that she was not careless. Her iphone rang.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta...can you come up..got some dictation to give you". Arnav cut her off and she knew it must be important. She took her pen and notepad and went to him straight away. She walked in and saw he was standing near his window looking down. She cleared her throat. He began walking towards her with a steady gaze. Khushi gulped and stepped slightly back.

Arnav pulled out the chair opposite him. "Come... sit". She timidly sat down and he sat near her on the desk. "Write..Mr Patel.." She was still writing that he leaned over and kissed her cheek. She sat there shocked. "Don't look at me WRITE". He looked at her sternly and got up and began pacing.

"I have received your designs.." She began quickly making notes. He leaned over her chair and kissed her other cheek. She rubbed her cheek slightly annoyed. "..and I am impressed with your work..." He twirled her chair and cupped her cheeks with his hands and gave her a big smacking kiss on her left cheek. She slammed the notepad on the desk and got up.

"Arnav aap hamesha aise kyon karte hain..?" (Arnav why you always do this?)

"Khushi what am I doing?" He asked with her straight face.

"This..." She pouted her face and rubbed her cheek.

"So what am I suppose to do?" He asked teasingly.

She threw her hands in the air and began pacing. "Aap kuch aur kyon nahin karte?" (Why don't you do something else?)

He arched his eyebrow and began smirking. "Kuch aur?" (Something else?)

She looked back and was shocked what she was implying innocently. He began stepping towards her with something playing in his mind. She started walking backwards afraid of his intense drooling eyes. Khushi began hyperventilating, her heartbeat increased ever so quickly. Her legs began to feel numb and her stomach felt like had a million butterflies. She took a few steps back and she hit the wall. She looked at him feeling trapped at what was supposed to happen. He inched closer and closer. So close that she smelt a whiff of his new fresh aftershave. She held her hands and began fidgeting. He looked down and smirked. His breath fanning her face. She looked into his brown eyes and then looked down heaving uncontrollably- while he enjoyed the effect he had on her. He placed one hand on the wall above her head and towered over her petite body. "Khushi?" He commanded with his voice to meet his eyes. She looked up taken in by his mesmerising gaze. He inched a little more closer.

"Sir can I come in?"

Arnav broke away quickly and moved off. "Yes Aman come in". He was back in his ASR mode. "Sir can I have a word?" Aman looked at khushi.

"Khushi you can go for now...yes go ahead Aman". Khushi picked up her notepad and pen and left for her cabin. Arnav was busy for the next couple of hours and therefore did not see Khushi when she left at the end of the day.
