Ohhh yes.. That scene was special. Though I didn't "get" the chemistry between HG and JR in that movie..but this last scene was a complete clincher, as also the press conference one, and the one in the book stall, where she says, "I'm just a girl asking a boy to love her". Glad you could connect this one with Notting Hill.

N's massage to the tune of 'I could've danced' was cute. I actually put on the song and read the para again.

N's birthday treat was a treat to read. I must confess though that I was expecting a wilder rendezvous in the den given A's midnight dream and his desperation to get his birthday kiss earlier in the day. I expected A to be more demanding but I guess it was environment effect i.e. the effect of being in his father-in-law's den that kept him subdued.

Well.. I think it was a combination of the environment and his irritation with N for obviously hiding something from him and then lying about it. The kiss was actually her way of diverting his mind off it and assuaging some of that anger! And it worked!

Is A's hurt at being lied to stemming out of his insecurity about the age gap between them or is it stemming from the childhood trauma of his Mom leaving his Dad? Does he still feel somewhere that he may not be right for her?

Hmm.. too many pertinent questions, Mimsy. I think its a bit of both.

I had fun imagining MB in kurta-pyjama holding a spade.

Well..Shazzie, Grease is one my faves too! You know my best friend and I caught this movie when it was re-released on the big screen and we were so crazed with the songs and the names... we actually had them as secret nick names for our colleagues! Even now the mention of Putzie and Kenickie and Rizzo and Frenchy cracks me up! And yeah..Travolta can move, alright! Boy!!!

I am just so glad that you kept that kiss a subtle,serene one minus the heated passion and intensity as that was just apt for that moment as it was a good build up to the passionate,intense moment that they will share after(hopefully😆)

I also loved the intricate details that you gave from the setup to the costumes which just added to the delight of the visual treat
..loved the costumes of the three girls...especially Nidhi in her pink jumpsuit...with the cap tilted to one side and the scarf for the extra touch...just could picture how bootilicious and seductive she looked(here Zeenat Aman and Parvin Babi were coming to mind)

Yeah Nidhi in a jumpsuit would deffo have looked bootylicious ...like you say, and Ashu is on a hormonal overdrive..poor thing!😆

...just all these little touches and nuances that you have added have just made it such a pleasure to read and picture at the same time and get the feel of the scenario surroundings making it feel as if I myself was also there attending the party...joining in all the fun.

I wanted you all there. Nidhi invited you all.. dontcha remember? 😉

Aso glad that Ashu didn't hold back and just let go and danced with Nidhi getting all lost in just her sheer presence, as that is what all being in love is about!...

Yes..this is what being in love is all about...pleasing your loved one by doing things that you don;t normally do..

.cannot wait to know what song Nidhi will sing for Ashu...know for sure you will bedazzle us some more...I got loads more to say...
