You have to continue!! I don't know what the CV's have planned but if it's as good as this, I am HAPPY CAMPER. Superb work. I truly hope they don't disappoint us with this track.

Day 2

Arnav woke up first and felt an unfamiliar weight on his chest. He looked down his chin and there was Khushi, resting blissfully on his chest.

For a moment Arnav was nonplussed. It was like a dream come true, a dream he had denied himself for ages now. The girl he loved, sleeping cuddled up to him. The ugly terrace scene threatened to make an appearance. But he pushed it away. This was his moment. And he did not want it ruined. Of late he had begun to doubt if she actually loved Shyam. She was always around him and she seemed to have no interest in Shyam whatsoever. All her antics, humor, care and even romantic gestures, however fake, were aimed at him. He had not even seen her glance at Shyam except on the heer ranjha day. He was lost in thought, but refused to budge and wake up the sleeping beauty in his arms. He was entitled to a little bit of bliss. After all she was married to him!

When Khushi woke up, she felt like she was nestled in a cocoon of warmth, a feeling she had missed for a long time. Even jiji had not been able to give this protective warmth. She knew without looking up she was in Arnav's arms. She could hear his heartbeats. Vaguely she remembered something. Arnav's voice saying ''humari dhadkane ek hojati hai'". Was it a dream? Must have been! Arnav could never utter those words to her. Not even if he had not hated her. Tears stung her eyes. Why did he hate her? Couldn't he see she loved him? But then she had not been showing her feelings too. She had learned to lock it. She pushed away her thoughts. This moment was hers. She may not get a chance in another 5 months to be this close to him. Someday, some other woman would sleep like this next to him. That thought pained Khushi even more. And she buried her face further on his chest.

Each did not want to show the other they had woken up.

Each did not want to let go of the other.

Each did not want the moment to end.

Each did not want the world to intrude.

Each did not want to break away and lose this one moment when they could cheat life and steal the moments for themselves'..
