Geet looked at Maan, with love filled eyes. Maan also gave her a sweet smile. They had a cute eye lock when they were disturbed by a knock on the door.

Maan was hell angry on the person, as he had strictly told Pinky not to let anyone disturb him. Nevertheless he straightened himself and settled back on his seat, while Geet also tried to calm her erratic heartbeats and tried to control the blush that had crept up on her cheeks.

"Come In..."

Sasha walked in, flaunting her body unnecessarily, looking like a complete fool. She looked at Geet, thinking that the new intern must be in tears right now. She was sure that MK would make sure that the new girl runs away and she had come to do some damage control. She wanted to make sure that Geet joins KC so that she can get all the donkeywork done by her and take way all the credit….

"Good Evening Ma'am..."

Geet greeted her chirpily.

She was extremely surprised to see a calm and rather happy Geet sitting there comfortably. She immediately looked at Maan and found him to be quite angry. Well, that was quite normal. She didn't bother to reply to Geet.

"MK... Mujhe aapse kuchh baat karni thi…."

"Sasha first learn some manners then maybe we can talk…."

"WHATTT???"

"Geet greeted you aur tumne ussey abhi takk jawaab nahi diya….. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki mere office ki itni senior employee ko itne basic manners bhi nahi aatey…."

Maan was already pissed off that Sasha had ruined his sweet moment with Geet and now when Sasha indirectly insulted her by ignoring her greeting, it just added fuel to the fire….

Sasha was left stunned. She couldn't believe that HER MK did this to her for an ordinary girl…. She fumed inside but was helpless in front of him….

"Good Evening…."

She replied meekly. Geet just gave a smile in return.

"MK woh Naveen Residency ke blueprints ready karne thhey aur baaki kuchh aur bhi miscellaneous work thha, aapne shayad iss nayi intern ko approve kar hi diya hai…. Toh main issey iska saara kaam samjha deti hoon…."

Maan squinted his eyes. He could make out what Sasha was trying to do. Now he realized what actually she was up to. Neither she wanted any innovative ideas nor did she did this for the company's welfare. She was doing what she was best at, shrugging off from her responsibilities…..

"Sasha…. First of all, Geet has a name…. So you better call her from that…. Secondly I gave YOU the responsibility for Naveen Residency blueprints.. And I want YOU to make them by Thursday…. I want them on my desk ASAP…. Thirdly Geet would be working under ME so no one, absolutely NO ONE would give her any task EXCEPT ME…. UNDERSTOOD???"

"But MK…."

"SASHA…. I asked you once UNDERSTOOD????"

"Yes MK…."

"Hmmm you may leave now..."

"But…."

"LEAVEEE…."

Sasha left immediately, hell angry that her million-dollar plan failed so badly….

Geet was not at all surprised with Maan's behavior. She knew that he was an angry young man, who knew it better than her; after all she had the first …. hand experience. And even she was not a fool and could very well make out how Sasha was ill-treating her indirectly…..

"Geet…."

"Jee…."

"Ghar Chalein…."

She nodded happily and followed Maan out of the office.

Sasha, who was looking out of the office window, was totally shocked when she saw Maan driving the car and Geet sitting on the Passenger seat.

"Zaroor daal mein kuchh kaala hai…. Mujhe pata lagana hi hoga…."

Sasha thought to herself. Abb iss bewkoof ko kaun samjhaye ki yahan toh puri ki puri daal hi kaali hai!!!!!😆

KHURANA VILLA

Geet entered the Khurana Villa while Maan parked the car. He was very particular and possessive about his car. In fact only Geet had the honor of sitting in his car till date. Even his own family members were not allowed to use it.

"Arrey Geet beta…. Aap???"

"Namastey Dadima…."

Geet bent down to take blessing from Dadima.

"Jeetey Rahiye Betey…."

Maan came in at that precise moment and greeted Dadima….

"Good Evening Dadima…."

"Hey Bhagwan…. Aaj toh hamarey bhaag hi khul gaye jo hamey Maan Singh Khurana ji ke darshan ho gaye..."

"Dadima…."

Dadima and Geet giggled while Maan pulled off an irritated face.

"Waise Dadima, aap apni pyari beti sey nahi puchhengi ki aaj wo mere saath kaise aayi hain who bhi iss time parr yun achanak…."

Maan smirked while Geet looked horrified. She knew precisely what would follow now….

"Aap aise kyon keh rahe hain?? Hey Bhagwaan... Kahin aap donon ne bhaag kar shaadi toh nahi kar li??"

"Nahi Dadima…. Woh na…. Woh…."

"Aap itna atak kyon rahi hain... Zaroor kuchh gadbad hai…. Kahin aap PREGNANT toh nahi hain... Hey Ram... Hum immediately aap donon ki shaadi kara denge nahi toh hum kissi ko society mein muh dikhane layak nahi rahenge…. Khurana Parivaar ki izzat ka kya hoga…."

Both Maan and Geet mentally groaned. Maan mentally whacked himself for instigating her...

"Dadima... Meri baat toh suniye…."

"Hum abhi Pandit ji ko phone kartey hain…."

"Uff stop it Dadima…. Geet aapko bass tab se yeh batane ki koshish kar rahi hai ki usne Khurana Construtions join kar li hai as the new intern…."

"Oh.. Achchha Phir toh…. WHATTT…."

Both Geet and Maan jumped at Dadima's reaction….

"Itni badi baat ho gayi aur aapne humein batana tak zaroori nahi samjha…."

"Dadima mein…."

"Nahi nahi rehne dijiye…. Hum aapke lagtey hi kya hain…."

"Aisi baat nahi hai…."

"….Bass Abb humein aapse koi baat nahi karni…. Aap hamare saath aisa kaise karr sakti hain... ITNI BADI BAAT…. Aapne humse chhupayi…."

Dadima sighed dramatically, and kept a hand on her forehead, shaking it left …. right giving a typical drama queen reaction.

"Bass issi cheez ki kami reh gayi thhii... Abb toh hamari jaisi ekk budhi aurat ki aapke life mein koi value kyun hogi…."

"Uff Abb aap kahengi….Hey ishwar…. Aisa din dikhane sey pehle humein utha kyun nahi liya??? RIGHT??"

"Nahi Nahi... Marein hamare dushman…. Aur waise bhi abhi toh humein yeh bhi nahi pata chala ki Tulsi ney uss naye waale Mihir sey shaad ki yaa nahi??"

"Yeh Tulsi Kaun hai…."

"Arrey aapko yeh bhi nahi pata…. Apni Tulsi…. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi waali…."

Geet and Maan both looked at each other and shouted at the same time….
