Arnav looked in the box and couldn't believe what he was seeing. There in front of him were the bangles he gave her and the sari she chose over the one NK was persuading her to have. He looked at her wondering did she really keep these in a box, wrapped up safely in her chest. She was looking right back at him wondering what he was thinking. At that moment Anjali came beside Arnav and looked in the box. She saw the bangles and smiled. Nani looked at her with curiosity.

Nani: What are you smiling at Anjali bitiya?

Anjali: Nothing nani just these bangles which I think were the first gift Chotey has given to Khushiji. Isn't that right Khushiji?

Khushi and Arnav both looked at Anjali not knowing what to say while the rest of the family were either smiling or laughing. Shyam who was also present was not pleased and mami was just being mami as normal.

Then Anjali saw the sari and wondered why that was in there. Nani asked to look at the sari and smiled. Then she explained how Arnav ended up choosing the sari for Khushi. Anjali was smiling at this fact while was getting more irritated. Khushi went over to Arnav and he gave the box back to her with a surprised look on his face.

As Anjali went back to her seat she knocked over a bag which was on the table. Khushi saw this and went over to pick everything of the floor. She looked at the items on the floor and thought these aren't mine. She looked at Payal.

Khushi: Jiji are these yours?

Payal came over to look.

Payal: These aren't mine.

Garima and buaji looked at what they were tidying up and both had a shocked look on their face. Buaji quietly went over.

Buaji: These aren't yours. I'll take them back with me.

Khushi: But buaji who's are they then?

Buaji: It doesn't matter no more anyhow.

Khushi's foot touched something. It was a mangalsutra.

Khushi: Who's is this buaji?

Buaji turned and saw what was in her hand and didn't know what to say. Khushi looked at her and guessed what was in the bag and why she was taking it back.

Khushi: Amma, buaji why didn't you just get rid of all this? Why keep it?

Garima: We are sorry Khushi bitiya I think we both forgot it was there. It was I who left it all in your wardrobe when we thought you were going to marry someone else.

Hearing this Arnav was clutching his fist ready to punch someone. He had forgotten Khushi was engaged to be married before.

Khushi: It doesn't matter. What has happened has happened. Buaji let me have the bag and I will throw everything away.

On hearing this Shyam was vexed and Arnav was shocked that she wanted to get rid of everything that reminded her of her ex-fianc. He then recalled the day when she cried on his shoulder when he knew her fianc had done something but what he never found out.

Khushi went to throw everything away when Anjali stopped her and said that they should give the items away but Khushi came out with how they may end being bad luck for someone else if given away. She was looking at Shyam when she said this. He was really getting angry. The exchange between Khushi and Shyam did not go unnoticed by Payal and she wondered what was going on. Khushi went and threw everything that was in the bag in the bin and with the mangalsutra she went to the temple and burned it. She looked much more cheerful after this. Arnav just watched her in surprise.

Garima: Thank god Khushi bitiya married a nice boy. That is all we ever wanted for her. If only I had listened to my husband when he said something wasn't right about her ex-fianc.

All of sudden she realised what she had said out loud. Everyone was shocked on hearing this.

Khushi: What did you say amma? Bauji wasn't sure about him?

Shyam was getting nervous and Arnav was getting curious as was everyone else. Khushi started to recall when her father first laid eyes on Anjali, the time when Buaji was pushing for the engagement how he was become restless and how when he grabbed her ring and threw it on the floor. Khushi walked up to her father, sat beside him and looked him in the eye.

Khushi: Bauji I know you can't talk or move but you can blink your eyes. I am going to ask a few questions. Can you please blink once for yes and twice for no? You understand what I am saying?

Buaji blinked once to acknowledge what she was saying.

Khushi: Buaji did you want me to get married to that man?

Buaji blinked twice to say no. Khushi told everyone what he said.

Khushi: Bauji did you know the truth about that man before your stroke?

Buaji blinked once to say yes. Khushi told everyone again what he said.

On hearing this buaji started having trouble breathing. She was having an asthma attack. Garima and Payal went to her while Khushi went to find her medicine in her bag. It didn't help. Then bauji was getting restless. Arnav went near Khushi's dad to help calm him down. Seeing this Khushi was grateful. Akash came near Payal while Arnav got on the phone to call the doctor. Anjali got HP to get the guest rooms ready. Everyone was staying her tonight she announced. Mami who was on side-lines made a comment how the whole family were trying to take over RM. Nani shot her a look of disgust and told her if she can't help then either shut up or go from here. Hearing this, mami left.

Everyone shifted to the guest room. Once the doctor arrived HP bought the doctor in. After hearing what was wrong with the patient he took out some medicines from his bag, gave them to her and also gave her a sleeping injection. This settled her down. Garima then looked at Khushi.

Garima: I am sorry bitiya. I wish I had listened to your father and you. You didn't want to get married to him and we didn't listen.

Everyone was shocked at hearing this but especially Arnav who just looked at Khushi.
