"OK Geet' now get rest today' Only week left for marriage and guest will be coming from tomorrow"

Geet was about to leave when Maan whispered "I don't care if guests are there" Geet gave him angry glare and left for her room. Maan ignored her anger , smiled and left for his work out.
While Maan was running around the huge park cum garden of KM, his mind was just working out for Geet'. a sweet smile was continuous formed on his face remembering her' how nervous she was when he was teasing her and how beautiful she looked'. She was never enough for him.
Geet on other side came to her room angry on Maan but the moment her eyes went on their pair picture her anger vanished. She went in front of picture and made baby face
"Aise bhi koi stata hai kya" but then remembering his sensual touches smile came on her face and her cheeks turned red in shyness but to her misery when she was all red in her thought and shyness Maan entered the room.
"Uff-ff" he said dramatically putting his hand on his chest. Geet hid her face in her palms seeing him. Maan just went ahead and hugged her.
Next morning the guests would start coming. Actually Maan was never in favor of calling these relatives as guest as these were all people who had turned their back to them and now when he had made Khurana group that high and regained their old prestige these people now were looking for chance to get back into relation.
Dadima had explained Maan' bygones are bygones and they should call the relatives as that will bring liveliness in Marriage environment. She made him emotional by saying
"Pote ke shadi me koi shauk pura to ker nahi paye hum and now you don't want me to give any pleasure in Annie's marriage too"
The way he had married was his weak point for all and he would feel helpless when it was mentioned. Even Geet eagerly wanted to meet the whole relatives of her family. So Maan had to agree.
Though he had warned Geet to be careful of these people but Dadima has given Geet the responsibility of handling and managing everything for guest. She was the Khurana Bahu and has to represent them.
Though Maan had made it clear that he should not be involved with guests as he was least interested in them but still, as marriage was approaching, Dadima wanted him to manage most of his work from home.
Next morning when Maan came back from Gym he found Geet was not there in the room he later found that she was busy attending the guests and relatives who had started arriving. Dadima wanted whole marriage environment for whole week.
Geet was elegant in her ways and look as Khurana bahu to attend them. As day passed from morning to evening lots of guests has arrived and Geet was completely involved in welcoming them. Dadima was busy with other matters and Annie was asked only to take care of her own self.
But the relatives and guests when saw Geet, though they were all smitten by Geet's beauty and politness could not digest that Geet, a middle class girl had got all power of THE KM.
Most of their eyes went to the flocks of keys hanging on her waist showing her power and all the army of helpers ready to follow her orders though they failed to realize how polite she was with all the helpers.
And many girls could not digest how could Maan marry a middle class girl. Best arrangement was done for guests and lots of room had been redone for guests.
But from second day the guests started commenting on how Geet was just lucky to be here and all claiming how girls in their relation much more deserve to be in her position.
The more they saw Geet and her authority the jealousy increased. Now the talks of how Geet might have trapped Maan, or how lucky a middle class girl and so on increased among the guests and obviously it did not scape Maan. His ears got alert and his temper started rising but due to dadima and Annie he was avoiding confrontation with guests. But his ignorance slowly gave more courage to guests and thus increased their talk about Geet' and how she does not deserve to be here and so on. Not knowing that they were only helping his temper to rise.
Maan then got alert of how they behaved with Geet. He saw Geet was pleasantly taking care of guests. But it did not take time for him to find out that these guests' jealousy on Geet and her being his wife, a big venture in her name, she being the whole sole of KM did not stop them from asking weired question from Geet. Their questions almost showing her how other girls in familydeserve this place more. Like they were doing stupid comparision. Question her middle class and so on. Geet did not say anything or would calmly answer them and move from there but she did not lessen her duty. Was smiling and pleasantly taking care of all their needs.
Maan did not like this at all. He wanted Geet away from them.
"Why the hell have she to take these craps?? "
It was a marriage house and lots of work was there, though she has to do nothing but supervising for so many people was not a small job.
Maan wanted to talk to her but she has no time. Along with guests his anger was also rising on her for taking all those things and not coming and listening to him even after his signaling her so many times.
In the afternoon of sangeet evening, few aunties and their stylish daughters were sitting and they called Geet and by chance Maan's eyes went there'
"Geet, I have heard your schooling was done from a neighborhood school, it must be tough for you to maintain in this high profile society "
But before she could say anything, maan came there'he held Geet by her waist
"Well aunty I must tell you if you don't know, I grew p with Geet and all of us kid went to same school'. Now you must be wondering how I manage this whole business empire'. I hope you do not have any question about MSK style and status"
They all who were ready to pull Geet's leg were just wide mouth opened and shut.
"Now if you will excise us I will steal my wife from you all for a while"
Geet did not like Maan interference like this. All she thought was that they will get some more points to talk about. She felt irritated as it was already tough for her to manage these people and Maan added to it.
He closed the room the moment they reached their room. Geet did not like the way he brought her she snapped her hand from him.
Maan smiled and held her from her waist'.
"Maan what is all this" she snapped
"Why I don't have right on my wife's time' hmm Geet"
"Please Maan.. it's already so tough for me to handle all these people and you are just adding to my misery."
Maan traced his hand on her cheek "You don't worry about these stupid people"
Geet removed his hand "Please Maan, they are our guest in Annie's marriage' I should not worry about them and then what should I worry about now"
Maan again pulled her closer to him from her waist
"Main hoon na' meri chinta karo" he placed his lips on her lips and took it deeply within his.
Geet's responsibility was on top of her head at that time.. she struggled and separated her lips from him. Maan frowned his eyebrows at her act'
In anger she said "You know Maan, sometimes you act like a kid who thinks I am a remote controlled toy for you' you don't understand my situation"
Maan was doing all this for her' to save her from those people but he has his own way and Geet's words shocked him.
He removed his hand from her waist "I am sorry' I thought I am little more important than those guests to you' sorry for disturbing you, carry on with your duties" and he immediately left from there.
It was then that Geet realized what she had done. She placed her hand on her mouth..
"hey babaji, yeh mujhse kya ho gaya' I took out all my frustration on Maan and that too this way" she immediately ran out of room to look for Maan but he was no where to be seen.
She tried looking everywhere but could not find him. She asked dadima to give her responsibility to someone else for some hours as she was too tired. She then tried calling Maan several time but Maan did not pick it and she knew why and only kept prying to her babaji.
