Part 10: Tipping Point

Arnav and Khushi --- Khushi and Arnav---
Just when it seemed like they were trading their paths in calmer water - the swirls of bygone days surfaced like tsunami but, not before having a sweet tide of childish argument...
Today saw something that left them...heartbroken...
Talking of coexistence, Khushi recognized Arnav's footsteps from behind closed doors. Arnav entered the room in a manner that seemed to depict that he was not at peace while enetering - he walked in fast, did not close the door behind him, and his mind was ready to get disturbed...Only he knows what he was thinking, but, the poor soul was already restless before entering his sactuary. Upon entry he found his sanctuary not as peaceful either, the peace was disturbed by the mess made by Khushi on HIS bed. Before he even opened his mouth to utter the words he did, Khushi could read his face and realized that he did not like what he saw. He used his newly developed restrained but stern tone to ask Khushi to clean up. It had been a long time, Arnav had been demonstrating this restrain, the tipping point had to come at some point...Khushi was just getting too comfortable with his 'putting up' with her act, so she tried again... Arnav and Khushi got into a childish fight over the bluetooth and clean up...only to come closer again - physically and emotionally for few moments...
Everytime Khushi comes in such close proximity of Arnav, he just stays focused on her face and eyes - What are you searching Arnav? - As if he is trying to figure out the 'Khushi Puzzle' - is this Khushi real that gets affected by his proximity or that one - he saw on the terrace (painful...)? Khushi cannot hide his effect on her psyche in these situations... Oh, how I wish that moment had lasted forever... How I wish, it had culminated in at least in arms wrap around sequence...
But, alas... DM had other plans... Anjali happened to be the person who broke this spell and unknowingly laid to opening up of old wounds...
Jab zakhm kuredde jaate hai
toh nasoor ban jaate hai
Aise hi zakhm tab dil mein

Iss dil ka kya karey
jo chahey iss kadar tumhe
Ke phooloan se jyaada

The cute fight would have kept its effect as Arnav walked away from the situation with the expression of 'badamashi se bazi ley gayi ho tum, Khushi' - 'Khushi, you tricked me to win this one.. 'after Anjali walked in at Khushi's call - only if...
When Khushi talked about her death, Arnav did not react immediately but when Anjali talked of giving her life to Khushi, he reacted furiously... It is the very same person - Khushi - who potentially is the biggest threat in his mind to his Di's well being - that Anjali is talking of giving rest of her life too! This had to bring back the bygones...
Arnav initially stayed restrained till Khushi started talking to Laxmi.
Arnav seemed to think about what was happening in Khushi's mind - she has become the biggest puzzle in his mind...
Tipping point... when Khushi asked him why he was getting angry, he warned her that he will let no harm come his Di's way, no matter how hard Khushi tries... warning sign for Khushi! Big Hint for Khushi...
Think Khushi... Think Khushi... even my heart was sinking...
Now, Arnav did let go, he blurted out a lot - I liked it - this poor soul needs to stop keeping things locked inside his heart and bear the pain alone... Baatne se dard kum hota hai...Share your pain, Arnav...
For Arnav, his pain will increase initially - when he screams at Khushi, controls her actions, tries to hurt her but really cannot to the extent his angry mind wants to - but then when I see all the outburst, all the frustration being taken out on Khushi by ASR why does my heart cry equally for both of them? That's because, ASR is heartbroken but still in very much in love with Khushi - he can only dare take out his frustration on Khushi as she is the closest one to his heart but he does not realize that yet... Yes, Khushi is closer to Arnav's heart than his Di - he worries about both of them equally even though it seems like Anjali is more precious to him - his Khushi is in his heart FOREVER...
the day he will realize that, Arnav will be at peace...
When Khushi said with tearful eyes, "Wishwas nahin hota ki aap wohi insaan ho jiss se..." Arnav's heart took a jolt! She almost indicated to him that she was in love with him... But what should he trust? Something that Khushi has not yet said to him or the thing that his own eyes saw her say to Shyam?... Anyone will lose it!
Toote Huye Kwaboan ne Humko yeh sikhaaya hai
Dil ne - Dil ne jise paaya tha Aankoan ne Gawaaya Hai
My broken dreams have told me
The one my heart had found has been lost for my eyes..
Arnav gave Khushi next big hint - that he wished he could tell her reality to everyone ... Khushi, of course, does not know what that means but will she focus on finding it out? Will she realize that this whole outburst of emotions started with Anjali's one sentence so there might be a connection in why ASR believes that Khushi should be punished because she deserves it?
Then ASR claimed that , .."tum inse mujhe kamjor nahin kar sakti"..about Khushi's tears - in other words, Arnav admitted that Khushi's tears are his weakness. When he left Khushi hurt and flabbergasted, underneath the anger was deep and immense pain of a heartbroken lover...dealing with it all alone... But then when Khushi called him 'Stone hearted', for the first time, Arnav Singh Raizada could not take it - "Enough!" Even though he tried to control her physically, he remembered that Khushi just told him that he repeatedly hurt her by such actions and so, he let her go.
In his desperate action of closing the sliding glass door to separate himself from her, when Khushi gets hurt, his heart immediately jumps out on her scream and he comes running to her but now Khushi is determined to keep him at a distance..
When Arnav said to Shyam, 'Main kuch galat hone nahin dooga' - Another big clue to Khushi... Will Khushi put all these together and think?
When Arnav walked in the room with his coffee after the big, first real fight they had after their wedding - the awkward silence - their eyes talking to each other - but then... Khushi and Arnav chose to talk to each other instead of staying away from each other... Honeymoon or not, these lovers are mending their ways - their coexistence is still developing a beautiful relationship - "Is agneepariksha se gujar jab yeh dono niklenge toh inka pyaar kundan ban jayega!" When all of this is over, their love will be shining gold!
And yes, both are hurt and hearbroken today...
ASR is still in control of situations, but for his heart...
I feel for Khushi but I cry for Arnav - I feel ASR's wrath through Khushi but my heart goes out to both of them... Dono zoolus rahe hai Shyam ki lagayee iss aag mein! Hey DM, kucch toh karo! They both are burning in hell due to Shaym, DM, please do something...
Untold emotions: Even the thought of harm to Anjali makes Arnav lose his mental peace and balance...Khushi must discover this sooner than later to be able to become Arnav's strength. Khushi has to become Arnav's strength as she loves him dearly no matter what and Arnav loves her deeply no matter what! Arnav is weaker emotinally than Khushi and Khushi needs to get beyond what Arnav is on surface and needs to start decoding her beloved - he needs her; he needs her strength more than he knows it. He is lonely, he is hurt; she is hurt - but their biggest strength is that their eyes talk EVERYTHING with each other and eyes do not lie! They know each other's small habbits well and they recognize each other's footsteps... They have the same wavelength but they keep enclosing themselves in their protective shells..
Hum thein jinke sahaare woh huye na humare
doobi jab dil ki naiyya saamne thein kinare
Here come the first time lovers, walking down the path of their very first love, once again shores apart - their hearts are aching for each other but unknown to this - they are going deeper and deeper in the ocean of pain left behind by their new heartbreak...
