Everyones jaw dropped as they saw arnav making his way down the stairs. Khushi was shocked. She had not thought that arnav would do soo much to fulfill her dreams and now it struck her as to how lucky she was that she had such a caring husband.

Her jaw dropped and her eyes became wide. They could pop out of her sockets and she wouldn't have been surprised.

Everyone was absolutely stunned. he had become the major attraction.

khushi: hai devi maiiya, arnavji has pulled off this shervani look he is looking so sexy.

and she stopped as she just realized what she had just said.

khushi: hai devi maiiya, what is happening to me? what did i just say?

There was silence as arnav came down. A smirk on his lips to see the crowds reaction.

Arnav made his way down the stairs. Even though khushi's face was covered, he could see the outline of her face. He had designed it in such a way so that he could see her reactions to all that he had done for her. He approached her and when he was near her he said out loud.

Arnav: close that mouth of yours before something flies into it tomato.

And khushi closed her mouth and blushed. She was feeling very shy and hence looked away from arnav embarrassed that everyone had heard him. Everyone broke out into laughter and buaji started with her sanka devi chant.

The pandit came forward and informed them that it was time for them to exchange garland(varmala). Arnav took his and placed it over khushi's neck. This was applauded with some whistling from nk's part.

Buaji: besharam khushi, didn't I tell you to play around a little and dodge his hands before you let him put it? Cant wait for this wedding to get over is it?

Anjali: how can she wait buaji? She wants the wedding to get over soon so that she can enjoy the suhaag raat(wedding night) completely. Am I right khushi?

Everyone burst out laughing and khushi felt herself turning dark red. She knew that people were going to pull her leg but she hadn't expected them to pull it this much.

And all arnav could do was look at her and laugh.

She was so innocent. He knew he didn't deserve her after all that he had done but he was very greatful that she had agreed to be his wife.

Now khushi came forward to put the garland on arnav. But akash and Nk had lifted arnav up so that khush was unable to put it on him. She jumped and jumped but she was unable to do it.

Everyone were laughing as they saw all this unfold. Khushi got irritated and pouted slightly.

Arnav looked at her and started laughing. khushi heard him and stopped jumping. She went around and poked both nk and akash very hard who dropped arnav.

And then khushi sprang and put the garland around arnav by jumping into him. Arnav caught her while she leapt and accepted her garland, smirking.

Everyone were laughing amused by the antics that was taking place.

Arnav whispered so only khushi could hear,

Arnav: are you so impatient to come into my arms tomato? If you want I'll keep you in my arms the entire time.

Khushi blushed and punched him on his chest.

Nk: bhabhi, you should try out for the Olympics you know.

Anjali: yes nk. you are absolutely right.She can win any sport if she is told that the prize is arnav.

Khushi blushed and hid her head on arnav's chest even though she had her ghunghat on her.

Arnav looked at her and smirked.

He loved it when she blushed. Correction, he loved every damn thing about her. Her anger, her love, her antics. EVERYTHING.

Now they were led towards the mandap and made to sit next to each other.

Khushi was trying to catch a glimpse of arnav from sideways and felt a shiver pass through her as she saw his eyes. The pandit had started reciting the marriage mantras.

Then after a while the pandit asked them to both extend their right hand and asked khushi to place her's above arnav. As soon as she kept her hand over his she felt her body shiver.

Arnav whispered,

Arnav: so much for a mere touch? What are you going to do tonight?

Khushi bushed so much that arnav could see colur rising even in her hands. Looking at this he smirked. He loved to know the effect he had on her. The effect of his touch or mere words that did to her.

He felt happy and content to know this because it was the same way he felt when she was near him.

He was going to give her his all. She was his life force and he knew it. He knew that she'll like his surprises, but those had to wait.

He had to do something today so that she would remember those moments for the rest of her life.

The pandit called for the girl's father for kanyadaan (ritual to give the daughter away)

Buaji and garima helped shashi to come forward on his wheel chair. He mustered all his strength and tied the knot of khushi and arnav. Garima and buaji helped him to tie it and tightened it.

Shashi had tears of joy in his eyes and prayed to khushi's parents hoping that they were also happy with khushi's choice as he was.

Khushi had tears in her eyes too when she saw her babuji carry out the ritual. From now she knew that she was no longer going to be khushi kumara gupta singh raizada.

She was going to be Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada exactly as she had wished. But the tears flow she couldn't help because even though she wanted to get married, she was sad of leaving her home forever.

Arnav looked at khushi and knew that she was silently in tears.

He put his hand on her shoulder and pressed them assuring her that everything will be all right. Khushi then calmed down and smiled as she felt arnav assuring her silently. They didn't need words to communicate. Their souls could do it without intervention from their body. That is all what they needed. Each other.

The kanyadaan ceremony was now complete. The pandit said it was time to put the mangal sutra.

Just then arnav aksed the pandit,

Arnav: panditji I am not very well versed in all these rituals so with your permission and with the permission of the gods that are watching there is something I would like to do before we go ahead with the rest of the ceremony. It is something I have to say. With your permission I will speak now.

Pandit looked at arnav and nodded giving him the permission he needed.
