Hello everyone,
first of all a very very biiiggg apology for the epic delay in updating!
And thank u so much for all the wonderful comments and they really make writing these updates worth it! You guys really encourage me with all ur wonderful comments.thanks once again🤗

Sun was sneaking in its first rays through the cracks between the curtains on the poolside, but the room remained dark and the occupants of the room were blissfully unaware of their surroundings.
8 in the morning came and go and the land line in Shantivan started ringing constantly and Anjali walked towards it to answer when a completely panicked Aman let out a stream of words that didn't make any sense. And Anjali stared at the receiver and asked what the matter was in er usual calm tone and Aman quickly got hold of his nerves and asked to be connected to ASR. And Anjali with surprise asked, "Why didn't u try his phone?"
Aman "I did Anjali mam, but sir didn't pick up the phone and all the foreign delegates are waiting at the conference room and he was supposed to be here at 7 today!"
Anjali "Hai bhagawan! Chote must have forgotten with everything! Aman I don't think ur sir if going to make it to the office anytime today. So is there anyway u can deal with the problem and inform them that there was an emergency"
Aman agreed and kept the phone and went to clear the problem while a gleeful Anjali turned towards nani and mami in the room and said, "Apparently the 9th wonder in the world has also happened!"
Mami, "Anjali bitiya I have only heard of 7 wonders, so why did u straightway jumpkia to 9th wonder?"
"Mami chote got married last night and that too willingly!without anyone having to bribe or beg him! And if that isn't the world's 8th wonder what would it be! As for the 9th this morning apparently Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada forgot all about a business meeting! And from what I can tell he is enjoying his time with his new wife" Anjali completed breaking down in to giggles!
"Anyway let's leave them to be" telling that the Raizada's got busy with their daily work and within 20 minutes Akash and Payal came down and joined them. After teasing them for a while things settled down.
A few hours later the phone rang again and it was Aman callin to mention that the meeting was shifted to 6 that evening and asked to talk to Arnav again. Anjali looked at the clock on the wall and started cz it was 11 in the morning and still no sigh on either chote or Khushi! She just said Aman to wait a few more hours for chote to call and kept the phone. Once she turned everyone was staring at her and so she told everyone that she was going to call them and winked at them and left up the stairs. At the top of the stairs as she was turning towards their room Shyam came out and Anjali gleefully narrated the latest situation adding that, seemed chote and khushi had a very very long suhagraat cz they r both still asleep and haven't come down!
Shyam paled hearing it and Anjali oblivious to it asked him to accompany her to call the newlyweds back to the real world. She raised her hand and knocked on the door a few times and got no response and neither seemed her words to reach them.
So she was wondering what to do to get their attention when Shyam sweetly suggested checking from the poolside hiding his venom in the sugarcoated words. And the two of them came from the poolside and called out. And finally seeing that one glass window was not locked Anjali pushed it in.
A few hours back,
Arnav found himself in the most peaceful slumber he had ever had and he turned slightly and felt a warm softness against himself and he lazily opened his eyes to be greeted by the most beautiful sight in the world. Khushi was cuddled in the crook of his arm and she twitched her perfect nose as if something offended her and then scrunched up her face and then slowly her breathing became regular and she snuggled closer to Arnav. And he thought how he would like to keep her in his arms forever, and in his drowsy state a plan started formulating in his head to do just that.
Arnav dragged her petite form even closer to his body and possessively encircled her with an arm around her and he was once again fast asleep with her comforting weight against his body.
Present time,
Arnav heard as if someone was pounding his head and snuggled deeper in to a silken mass that seemed to get increasingly comfortable and intoxicating in its exotic smell and tightened his arm around the warm body he was holding.
Anjali tentatively poked her head back ready to close her eyes. She groaned in her head having to go in to their room like this! But his stupid office wanted to talk to him and what can she do! The sight that met her eyes made her relaxed as there was nothing awkward she was afraid of but quickly that turned in to incredulous amusement once she fully took in the situation.
Khushi was snuggly wrapped in what looked like one of her chote's night clothes and she looked like a cute doll inside the oversized T and her chote was scrunching his face at her voice and taps and was snuggling in deeper in to Khushi's hair with each call as if to block out the noise!
"Chote!" she called really loud one more time and still the same response and he borrowed his head even deeper in his wife's ebony tresses.
Finally sighing in exasperation Anjali took the first unwilling step in to the room and softly shook him awake.
Arnav finally opened his eyes to look in to the usual sight of his sister looking down at him. But things didn't feel normal, something was amiss he was thinking when he felt the warmth beside him and quickly turned to look at Khushi lying cuddling to him and back at his sister who had discreetly walked away saying over her shoulder about how they needed to wake up and come down for lunch!
And that got him up! He looked around sheepishly and his eyes landed on the murderous face of Shyam who was hovering near the doorway. He looked at him straight in the eye with a smirk hovering around his mouth and leaned towards Khushi and kissed her thoroughly on the lips and crooned, wake up sleepyhead.
Anjali who was near Shyam saw the expression on his face and asked in concern what was wrong and forcefully ushered him out telling Arnav to hurry having no idea of what had transpired.
Khushi whose eyes had fluttered open in shock at being kissed so thoroughly opened her mouth to scream thinking she was being attacked was quickly silenced with another kiss that left her breathless.
"Khushi shh..it's me"
And she stared with eyes big as saucepans and he chuckled, thinking only Khushi could react like this on the first morning of her married life.
He shook her a little by holding on to the bare shoulder from which his sweatshirt had slipped, "Khushi! We are married, remember?"
"we are?" finally whispered looking uncertain..
"Khushi!" he called again.
"hmm.."
"r u ok?"
"hmm.."
"what do u mean hmm for everything?" he asked as she still looked at him with her wide open eyes that looked slightly disoriented. Then it was this turn to be shocked as his eyes widened as Khushi's small hands found the way to his chest and slightly started to stroke.
Finally she blinked a few times and then as she realized he really was there and snatched her hands back as she shot up like an arrow from the bed and to her dismay the lose pants around her waist dropped to her ankles leaving her bare except for the knee length t-shirt she had. Khushi turned beet red and as she looked at Arnav who had first looked on appreciatively at the length of milky legs that was exposed. And soon looked as if he was about to burst out laughing, a bout of shyness hit her and she quickly sat on the bed and pulled the bed sheet above her head hiding from him.
Arnav was by this time practically chortling looking at her antics and once he realized she had no intentions of coming out of the bed sheet he stopped his laughter and inched closer to her and tugged at the corner of the bed sheet sliding it off her and she clutched at it even harder. And he again tugged and it soon came off exposing her face and she had her eyes closed tight as if it would change the position she was in.
Arnav just put an arm around her and pulled her closer, and whispered "Khushi, open ur eyes"
And she slowly opened one eye and taking one look at his laughing eyes closed it shut tightly.
"oh Khushi" arnav whispered as he kissed her hard and that got her to open both her eyes and look at him shyly.
"do u know what u do to me everytime u look like that?" he asked in the same breathless voice and she shook her head and lowered her lashes.
Arnav decided to tease her a bit and asked "so did u like touching my chest?" and Khushi shook her head harder.
"no? so why did u do it?"
"I thought I was dreaming" she said in a barely audible whisper almost to herself he would have missed had he not been so close to her.
"why?" he found himself also whispering caught in the moment.
"because I always do!"
"what?" he asked shocked! Was khushi telling she had dreams of her touching him! This was better than he thought!arnav caught on it quickly and teased her, "so u dream of me in ur sleep?"
And Khushi finally admitted with a shy nod.
And before he could continue a sharp rap at the door and a call "oi!it is late! love birds wake up" brought him back to the present.
"we'll be out in a little while" he called back and gently propped Khushi up and told her that they needed to get dressed and go down.
He went first and took a shower and soon came out and then as Khushi was going in she asked in a worried tone, about what to do about her clothes.
"don't worry about it. I'll get u some" he said and pushed her towards the bathroom.
And as promised Arnav went towards Akash & Payal's room and asked for a set of clothes for Khushi and came back to the room and asked Khushi to call when she finished showering.
Soon he heard the shower being turned off and the lock opening and Khushi stuck her hand out asking for the clothes and as tempting as it was for him to pull her out, he decided to leave it for another day as they were already late. So he just handed over the clothes to her and waited while she came out.
Khushi quickly dressed and mover towards the dressing table and started brushing her wet tresses and smoothed out her sari. And as she reached towards the box of sindoor she felt him near her and Arnav took a pinch of the red powder and lightly filled her maang while they gazed at each other through the mirror. Arnav himself didn't know why it felt so important to do what he had just done when most of his life he had scoffed at these sentimental things as foolish whims. But ever since Khushi had walked in to his life, things had changed.
And soon they walked out of the room, down the stairs hand in hand to face their first day as husband and wife.
Ok so here is the update, and I will try my best to not be as late as this again..but well i was wondering if it would be a good idea to pause this for a bit and finish one of the other stories, probably the Mr. Mrs. & Baby Raizada one..
