Dan to Appear in 'Extras'

According to the BBC Comedy Blog, Dan has been confirmed as one of the special guest stars who will appear in season two of Extras, the BBC hit comedy created by (and starring) Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant of The Office fame. The report claims that "it's not yet decided in what capacity he'll appear" - as soon as we have more information about his involvement and when the program will air, we'll let you know.

Extras follows the fortunes of two aspiring actors as they go from job to job as extras on film sets. Each episode features a special guest star: guests in the first series included Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet and Samuel L. Jackson. Among the stars that Gervais is said to be in talks with for season two are David Bowie and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
