Hello all, I'm here to bore you once more!... I think the phrase of the day is, "Akash naam ki beemari." Although the tone of it is humorous, we cannot deny it's craze on M. He has infested her mind, and supposedly her heart. However, this beemari is not incurable. Personally, I feel that cure lies in the hands of the great pharmacist – Mrinalini Devi herself. We all knew she is a cunning and effective ruler, but the measure of her refine is yet to be unfolded. Everything that Jay said manipulatively about her beloved DS in the beginning of the episode, is in fact true. Mrinalini Devi is a paheli, one that recoils at twice the pace as the one trying to solve it. While her interaction with the Mahasabha representative dude (Prithvi?) was much pretence, her tone shifted when she spoke about M's destiny.
Yeh toh sirf kahani ka ek chota sa padhao hai. Rajkumari banna, Manyata ki kismet hai. Unki haathon ki lakeeron mein likha hai. Woh chahe kahin bhi bhaag kar jaayein, apni kismet se nahin bhaag sakti. Woh wapas yahin lauteingi.
While we could receive these words simply as her desperation to prove to Maharaji Prithvi that everything will be fine, I think the determination behind them has more weight. Mrinalini Devi, as self indicated, has "seen much [more] of the world," and there must be something substantial that makes her want only Manyata to take over the throne to Devgarh. It's not that she dislikes Jainandini, but there is something more in Manyata that compels her to make the latter the heiress to the estate. Thus, if she has taken up so many difficulties to achieve this goal, I dont' think she is quite ready to give up... not yet.
If Dadi Sa doesn't have anything planned, then I think she has something on the works. Also notice how nonchalant and unaffected Uday is when Jay tells him that she is going to reveal the truth to Manyata. Later, he reprimands her saying she shouldn't have done that. However, he appeared more concerned about the fact that Jay revealed the truth to Manyata during the time when Maharaj Prithvi was there, rather than the fact that she told Manyata the truth. And when he left the palace, his expressions gave the air that he already had something planned, or at least, has determination and knowledge of what he could possibly due to reclaim what he believes is already his – Manyata.
The Mahrani and her vazir (which is really Uday, Doctor Saab is just there it seems) are the key players here. Brijraj appears to be vehement and impulsive, but DS and UV are thinkers, they are the schemers, the ones who control the means and the end.
Anyways, we shall only find out in the next week. So let's wait and watch.
P.S. all of this could just be my imagination/illusion as well, so I'm going to apologize in advance!
Cheers,
dc
