24 year-old MCom holder Dipti Mota came to us on her friend's insistence. Here's how Your Life transformed the
girl-next-door Dipti into serious star material

Dipti says: Before the makeover, I was unsure if I needed one in the first place. But when my family was stunned to see me in my new avatar, I knew the new look was a success. Earlier, I dreaded to cut my hair short, but the expert's style and advice has given me confidence in experimenting with my crop. I also plan to take their suggestion and start working out, to shed extra kilos.

Queenie says: Dipti is young, but she does not pay attention to her skin. She has a blaze attitude towards her looks and figure, which might cost her in the long run. She had dark hair on her face, which made her look darker than she actually is. So, we bleached her skin to brighten her complexion.

Clothes: We dressed Dipti up in a beige ensemble to complement her skin tone. The outfit gave her a simple, yet elegant appeal.

Hair: Dipti had long, straight hair that lacked volume. The hair ends bore signs of colour, which she confessed to having applied herself. In order to change her look entirely, we cut her hair in layers, while maintaining its length. We snipped it short in the front and on the crown to lend volume. Dipti's dark hair sallowed down her complexion. We coloured it with a blend of caramel and honey gold for style and gloss.

Make-up: Due to her dusky skin tone, we avoided using bright colours on Dipti's face.
