~Episode 45~

Geet didn't feel like eating anything. All she wanted to do was find Maan and manao him.

Scene 1:

Geet and Maan's room in the Haveli

Maan was not in the room.

"Hey Babaji, yeh Maan toh yahan bhi nahi hai. Kahan gaye honge?"

Baby stirred in her hands and then again went back to sleep sucking his thumb, on her shoulder. Geet gently put him in the crib and again got lost in Maan's thoughts.

"Maan, aur kitni sazza denge?"

Geet sees a shadow across the window. She hopes it to be Maan but it was rather a completely drunk Mamaji wobbling like a skittle.

He sees Geet and staggers to her almost falling down,

"Geet puttar, tera woh ...kaun hai...em...ha! Balwant...woh chath par so raha hai. Mujhe na kuch gadbad lagta hai? Jugnoo ka shatir dimag kah raha hai ki daal main kuch kala hai, puttar."

"Mamaji," she screws her face and persuades him to go down to the hall.

"Mamaji, maine abhi kitchen se awaazein suni. Lagta hai ghar main koi chor ghus aaya hai. Agar aapke hote chor ne kitchen se kuch chura liya toh, aapki jasoosi toh bekar ho jayegi."

"Oy teri, puttars! No worries! Jugnu jassos ke hote hue koi bhi chor kitchen se kuch nahi chura sakta, uske liye main hoon na."

"Kya?"

"Oy, mera makbal hai, main hoon na use pakadne ke liye. He takes a swig from the weird liquor can that he was carrying and swaggers down the steps.

"Mamaji, dhyaan se."

She then turns and smiles to herself...

"Accha bachoo, mujhse chup ke chath par ja kar baithe ho. Main bhi dekhti hoon kab tak Mr Maan Singh Khurana unki Mishty se naaraz rehte hain. Par main karoon kya? Dadi ma ko phone lagati hoon😕" (Golly Expert Dadima😉)

Scene 2:

Geet Ma and Papaji are talking about Geet and Maan...

"Suniye ji, main kah rahi thi ki Geet, Damad ji aur humare nati ko Amritsar darshan ke liye le chalet hain. Maine sankalp liya tha, ki agar meri Geet puttar ko uski khushiyaan mil jaaye toh main Babaji ke darbaar main sab ke saath matha tekne jaoongi."

"Bilkul, main kal ki sab se baat kar leta hoon," he then turns to his wife who looked concerned.

"Ranu, tum kuch pareshaan ho?"

"Ji, kuch nahi, woh Geet aur Maan aaj ek doosre se door door the, mujhe lagta hai un dono ke beech kuch jhagda hua hai."

"Ranu, pati ' patni ke beech main aisa hota hai. Maan aur Geet sabse alag hai, woh dono ek doosre se door kabhi nahi reh sakte, unka rishta toh Babaji ne joda hai. Dekhna, abhi dono ek doosre ke saath honge, aur tum bewajah hi fikar kar rahi ho."

Rano hopes her husband was right, cuz she could not bear another heartbreak for her daughter.

Scene 3:

Sam is driving...and she looks disoriented and teary...

With one hand she wipes her tears and with the other she steers wildy almost ramming into other vehicles.

Then suddenly she applies the break and stops the car before hitting a tree...remembers something from the past...and tears flooded her eyes.

Flash back, Scotland

Maan and Sam are in a car, Maan is driving...a lorry overtakes them, and Maan loses balance and rams the car into a tree.

Maan checks the seat next to his, but Sam wasn't there. The force of impact was so much that she was thrown out of the car. He rushed out, wounded and bleeding, and saw her lying in a pool of blood. He rushed her to the hospital.

When she came back to her senses, Maan was overwhelmed and hugged her. That was the first time Sam realised 'he was her Prince Charming.'

Scene 1:

Haveli, balcony

It was very late in the night and Geet didn't want to disturb Dadima.

"Geet, kya kar rahi hai? Abhi tak toh woh so gayi hongi.😕"

She decides not to call her.

But Dadima called, like she had some sixth sense...

"Dadima...aap soyi nahi?"

"Geet, aapne humara call pehle kyun nahi uthaya?"

"Dadima, I am sorry😕...woh main...Maan..."

"Maan ke saath jhagda hua hai kya?😲"

"Nahi Dadima...Woh main...😕"

"Geet, humse jhooth bolne ki zarroorat nahi hai, I can hear your heart, akhir aap humari beti hain😳. Aur Dadima se apne dil ki baat chupa rahi thi...Aap Maan ko phone dijiye, hum baat karenge unse😡."

"Dadima, par woh yahan nahi hai😕. Woh mujhse naaraz hain. Aur mujhse baat bhi nahi kar rahein hain. Ab main kaise manaoon unko?"

"Geet, beta aap bilkul buddhoo hain😆😆😆. Achha suniye ab dyaan se...aisa trick batayege ki woh gussa wussa sab bhool jayenge..."

😆-------Dadi's plan------😆

"Thankyou Dadima...Love you."

"Love you beta😳...jaldi jayiye aur apne uss dusht danav ko manyiye😆."

Geet goes into her room, changes into a beautiful saree (Maan's favourite)😳😳😳 and opens her hair😳😳😳 and allows it to fly carelessly😳😳😳...She takes Maan's photo and says,

"Mr Maan Singh Khurana ...ab dekhte hain aap kaise mujhse baat nahi karte?😆😆"

She looked like some nymph so beautiful and lovely. Maan can't resist this...No way!!!😳😳😳

Scene 2:

Street below Pinki's house...

An auto comes and stops in front of her house. And out of it gets down a completely drunk and wobbling like a top. OMG!!!😆( This is really hilarious...just imagine Adi doing a Dharmendra style mausi ji scene)😆😆😆

"PINKI!!!" he shouts out her name aloud.

He shouts her name again and again...until everyone in the house, Pinki and her Dad and a crazy aunt comes out completely bewildered.

"Adi Sir, aap yahan, iss waqt kya kar rahe hain? Aur aapne sharab pi hai?" she asks in shock.

"Yes, sharab pi hai...kyun ki main jo tumse bolne jar aha hoon woh sunke tumhare bhi hosh udd jayenge."

"Pinki beta, yeh kya ho raha hai..." her dad intervenes and then turns to Adi, "dekhiye aap iske Sir honge office main, iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki aap aadhi raat ko humare ghar ke saamne scene create karenge. Please yahan se chale jayiye."

"Uncle ji, main aapki beti se...nahi nahi, pehle I'll tell my heart's feelings to her..." Adi turns to Pinki who was completely stunned anticipating what was coming next, "Pinki I love you. Main tumse pyaar karta hoon and I want to marry you."

"What?" exclaims her dad, and pulls Adi by his collar, "Tum hosh main ho...daffa ho yahan se."

"Dad, please don't stop him. I wanted to hear these words from him for so long, and finally he's said it."

"Iska matlab tum bhi?"

"Ha Adi Sir, I love you too."

Pinki dad almost faints, his sister (sanki aunty) makes a huge hue and cry about sab pagal ho gaye hai...rishta tay ho gaya hai...Kaisa baap hai tu...

"Dekhiye mere liye meri beti ki khushi zyaada important hai...aur agar woh Adi ko pasand karti hai toh woh hi hoga uska humsafar..."

"Thank you dad..."

She hugs her dad, Adi faints😆 almost half coming to senses and realising what he has achieved. And now the alcohol's effect was wearing off and so was his confidence.

Scene 3:

Terrace

The door opens...it's dark...

Maan hears Geet's payal as she teases him by running around...😳

"Kaun hai? Geet?"

A ball of light springs to life. And Maan loses his senses when he sees Geet😳, dazzling like a fairy in that dreamy light.😳

She walks close to him, takes his hands and places them on her waist.😳

MAHI MAHI!!!😳

Maan is lost for some time in her teasing eyes😳, but then he shakes his head and pushes her off.😡

Wind blows and her pallu flies over on to his face.😳

She sings...

Baahon Mein Chale Aao 😳

Maan stands with his back towards her...😕

Geet comes and hugs him😳 from behind and slowly turns him...😳

Bahon main chale aa

Maan is distracted but he takes control of himself, and moves away😕

She holds his hand, and pushes her flying hair away from her face. Maan gulps...😕

yeh Aaj Ka Nahin Milan
yeh Sang Hai Umar Bhar Ka😳

Maan closes her mouth with his hand,fearing someone would hear her... and says,

Sshh...sshh...sshh...sshh...

Geet removes his hand and sings

again...

her arms around his shoulder...😳

Maan is lost in her eyes😳😳😳...he gently caresses her face, and tugs the flying hair locks behind her ear😳. She closes her eyes...and Maan bends close to her...😳

He suddenly realises what he was doing and opens his eyes...

He pushes her...😡

She won't let him go away from her like that...

She holds his collar and pulls him close...😳

Now Geet caresses his face, turns his face and makes him look into her eyes...😳

Geet gets up from the bed and walks to him. She loses her balance and falls...Maan holds her...😳

Mahi mahi eyelock!!!

Geet closes her eyes and Maan tries hard to resist her beauty, but he simply cannot, because he loved her more than anything in the world...

He leans close to her...😳😳😳

Maan gets up ignoring Geet...😕

She gives up...😭😭

She stands up and turns her face sadly😭...

Now Maan realises, he's troubled Geet enough and walks to her and whispers in her ears...😳

"Geet...😳"

He then pulls her close and sings...😳
