Hello Moderators
I know it must be a very time consuming job to moderate a forum...but I guess it could be made a better place only if you, the moderators, step in...
I am mentioning in this with regard to Lima's post with respect to Indian video updates. I totally agree with her view that when somebody else posts it already, there is really no need for her to do it... but then that person has to take it upon himself/herself to do so regularly and should not be doing it in a haphazard way which only causes disruption and confusion in the forum.
The same thing was happening with regards to the episode updates, a few weeks back. THere was a time when realitybites was doing the detailed updating as she usually does, but someone used to also give updates not in detail but killing the suspense factor! But when realitybites was not updating, nobody took it up and did it! (I am not accusing or trying to demean anybody for their efforts, but am just presenting facts from a purely outsiders point of view...just as someone who loves to read and watch Indian episode updates.)
So please make sure that there are persons who are to do the updates (both video and the written) and make it a team effort like Lima has mentioned instead of a case of one-upmanship. This also ensures that there is no cause for bitterness amongst members which is sure to crop up otherwise. This request is only being made because only you, the moderators, can do something about it and it just doesn't help if I just post it 'cos it will be just that, another post without any action taken!
Another request is to urge members to use subject or topic headers which represent the content of the topic instead of subject heads like "update" and ask for updates in the topic! It really is very misleading & leads to a lot of frustration when you open the topic in the hope of seeing or reading something which is just not simply there!
Again, the intention is not to sit on judgement on anybody but just to make sure that there is less confusion and frustration.....
C'mon, I am sure with all our combined efforts, we can make this an interesting and hassle-free forum.
Thanks
