Actor-director Vineeth Sreenivasan's little secret is out, thanks to his mother. The actor was hoping to keep his love life away from the public eye until he was ready to tie the knot. But he turned a few shades red when he woke up to media reports concerning his personal life, and found that the source was his own mother who's quite over the moon with the development.
Vineeth, who's marrying his college sweetheart, tells us, "Yes, am getting married. But I don't want to talk about it until it is closer to the date. When that happens, I will personally inform friends, people in the industry, fans, as well as the media. As of now, I just want to concentrate on work."
The multi-talented youngster is currently busy with his second directorial venture, Thattathin Marayathu, which stars Mumbai-based actress Esha, alongside actor Nivin Pauly. "It's a love story, which will be shot mostly in Thalassery," he says.
"It has been a dream to direct Mohanlal and Mammootty. And if it does happen, I want it to be for my own scripts."
In fact, Vineeth says that he had planned his first movie with Mammootty in the lead; that was before he started working on Malarvady Arts Club. Now, he has penned another story for which he hopes to rope in Mohanlal.
Though Vineeth's found success as an actor, director, scriptwriter and singer, he says nothing's easy and each has its own challenges. "Take singing, for instance. Irrespective of the kind of practice and effort you put in beforehand, what matters is if you can nail it while at the studio. As for films, you end up investing close to oneand-a-half years of your life just to complete a script," he points out.
