i am soo sorry it took this long to update. they keep chucking homework at me. that, and the fact that arnav will be heart broken tomorrow. it's just devastating. i'm trying not to think of it because it hinders my brain processing. but i AM thinking of it so productivity is like, zero.
anyway, here's part 5. i'll hopefully finish this off by part 7!

Part 5.
"Khushiji! Ye aap kya kar rahihe!"
"Nehi Anjaliji! Aap Shyamji se baat nahi karengi!"
"Par - kya - kyu -"
"Mujhe maaf kardijiye. Lekin hum ye aapki bhalai ki liyehi kar rahihe. Aap chaliye humari saath -"
She grabbed hold of Anjali's hand and yanked her onwards, guilt flooding through her. She had never spoken to her in this way, but there was no time to explain. Anjali's hand felt small and sweaty in her hand, almost like a child's, and she clasped it tightly in hers, unwilling to let go.
"Khushiji, rukiye, please!"
But she could not stop, she wouldn't - who knew what might happen if she did? She blinded herself to Anjali's pain, tears and protests and pulled her onwards. She had hardly moved a few paces when she felt a large cool hand upon her own which had been mercilessly towing along a hysterical Anjali. Fearing the worst, she shut her eyes, tightened her grip on Anjali and began screaming at the top of her voice.
"KOI BACHAO! KOI HAI? BACHAO BACHAO BACHAO BACHAOO-!"
The large hand smothered her screams as it clapped onto her face. Totally losing it, Khushi bit fiercely into the palm; there was a hiss of pain, and she was let go. Her eyes flew open as Anjaliji whimpered, and she realized she had let of her. Her heart thundered, sensing an impending doom. She spun around to face the offender, once more filling her lungs with air to scream louder than ever -
She froze.
The world stopped.
And then -
"What the f**k do you think you're doing?"

It was that rush of adrenaline that he had become quite used to recently. That rush whenever she was around, her tight little body draped in bright colours, inviting him, seducing him. It was that which had caused him to completely lose it. That, and the fact that his Khushi seemed to be in the dangerous delusion of being in love with another man. She was young, she was naive - of course, she did not understand the matters of the heart as he did. But it was all slipping away. Khushiji, and the money. He could feel their eyes bore into the back of his head, feel Buaji reverberating in murderous but silent rage as she held back the truth for the sake of her other granddaughter. He sensed the Guptas' defeat as they looked at him in pure hatred, unable to say anything as Khushi had clearly made the decision for them. He couldn't help but smirk at their helplessness. He grinned as he relived the last few hours over and over again, the feel of her in his arms, her short, hot gasps in his ear, his hair, his neck... her breasts pressed tight against him, her hands pressing against his chest as she tried to push herself away, push him away. Her resistance had made it all the more pleasurable and her frantically struggling body had caused him to go nearly wild with ecstasy. She wanted him, he was sure of it. Why else would she ask him to break off his marriage? She didn't love Saale Saab, she loved him, and only him! It was only a matter of time before they wed and consummated their marriage; then he would show her what she had been missing.
"Damadji, aap yahan pe kya karrahihe? Aap jawat nahi Anjali bitiya ki paas?"
He looked up, gaping stupidly at the old woman.
Look at him drool.
"Hum - Naniji, hum toh jane wale the na! Lekin Saale Saab jab mana kar diya toh hum kya karsakti hai -"
Lies! You're waiting to pounce on her!
"Jo bhi ho! Aapki biwi kho gayi hai aur aap yaha per bathi huyi hai! Ye hum bilkul bardash nehi kar sakat hai!"
"Lekin - Naniji -"
"Hello hi bye bye! Itna hesitation why? Apne biwi ko findwa karte no initiativewa! Hum ko toh kuch theek nehi lagat hai -"
Of course kuch theek nahi hai. This man is a lunatic. Someone see it!
"Ma, basbhi kijiye. Jeejaji, Nani bilkul sahi hai. Aap chaliye, mein bhi chaltihu aap ki saath -"
No. Not Akaashji. He'll hurt him. I won't let this happen! I WON'T!
"Ha, Akaash bitwa jao damadji ke saath, hum Chotteko sambhal -"
"Nahi."
Nine pairs of shocked eyes whipped around to face the source of those two syllables, the tone of which seemed to be colder than ice. Even the molecules in the air seemed to stop buzzing as they swivelled around to gape at the bearer of the voice. It was the voice of a broken shell, a voice of a woman who had held back too much, but not anymore. Throwing caution to the winds, Payal raised her head, looked at her Akaashji squarely in the eyes and repeated, "Nahi."
"Hello hi bye bye! Ye kya bole jarahiho phatti sari?"
She ignored her. She continued to look at her fiance, cold, fiery rage in her unblinking eyes.
"Humne bola na. Aap iske saath kahi nahi jarahe hai."
