Part-13

The early sunrays of the next morning made the deep slumber of Nupur a little weak and she opened her eyes welcoming the soft warmth of the light. And the first thing she saw was Mayank's face. His face added extra contentment and jubilance in her morning. She stared at him lying beside him for sometime. She noticed the extreme cuteness and child-like innocence reflecting from his face while sleeping. When you start liking a person , he appears to be mroe beautiful than ever before. He looked soo cute that she felt an urge to hug him and cuddle on to him. But she drove away such weird desires of hers invading her mind and heart suddenly. She thought about the last night when she expressed her feelings about her mother to him. She had never ever as such talked about her to anyone after her death..not even her father. She always felt the best of consolation only after talking to Mayank. His words always left a deep impact on her and she relied on him for providing themuch needed comfort.

She also felt good how Mayank had also opened up his heart to her. She loved it how she too had created an impact on him that he talked about his unspoken feelings only to her. She had hugged him last night coz she wanted to. Nowadays she frequently felt an urge to hug him without any reason..

Realising she had been staring at him for quite a long time and he could be awake at any moment..she got up

"Hmm Mayank..main soch rahi thi ki main apni job resume kar lun...Ghar par baithe baithe I get bored..toh isliye maine soch ki"

"Nupur agar tum apni Job resume karna chahti toh thats great...aur tum sahi keh rahi ho...ghar par khali baithne se toh accha hai na ki tum kaam karo"

"Thanks Mayank!!!...By the way..main ek baar maa se bhi phone pe pooch lungi...aur kal hi company mein apply kar dungi"

"Hmm...good..."

"Tum office ke liye late nahi ho rahe??"

"Haan...actually main apna tiffin wahi table par bhool gaya"

"Ohh...ruko main abhi lekar aati hun"

She returned back with Tiffin in her hand and handed over to him

"Ab kya hua??..."

"Nupur woh...mujhe..tumhe kuch...mera matlab"

She gave him a questioning look

He extended his other hand towards her which had a yellow rose in it

"Yeh tumhare liye...Happy Rose Day Nupur!!"

A little shy Mayank Sharma gave his wife a rose for the first time..and Mrs Nupur Sharma was left in awe of him

For a few seconds she just kept staring with her eyes resonating between Mayank and the rose

This gesture of his was soo sudden that she couldn't decide whether to first express her shock at it or the hidden happinessthat flustered her heart

She took the rose from him and said "Thank You "

He smiled and moved forward and hugged her..." Thank you Nupur for the last night...I really felt light after talking it to you"

He broke the hug and smiled again

She too smiled a bit..and then dropped her eyelids...She felt shy..!!

He turned around towards the door but before stepping out he again turned back to her

"Woh Nupur!!"

"Haan!!..."...What was he upto now she wondered...Wasn't that rose and hug was enough to make her go speechless and crazy

"Tumhare baal..."

He reached out his hand to her face, gently pushing aside the flick of hair falling on her face

Shivers ran down her spine at his mere touch...She couldn't react to it

"Byeee""...he said and turned around again and went away

and she stood there at the door still sinking in the Mayank's acts...She felt a new kind of tickling feeling in herself..something different...something heart-warming

He didn't know why he did that..Involuntarily he was more and more falling for her. Last night when she hugged him and composed him he felt a new dimension of affection of her

She had actually seemed to be his "soulmate" in true sense last night and he couldn't resist but give that flower to her and hug her in the morning. This was a way of expressing his gratitude to her….and the hair part….He hadn't planned it..She looked liked an angel with that flick falling on her face…He just flowed with the moment..He was Happy today…for no reason….but he was happy

She was very happy today……She kept on staring the flower for the whole day…The whole turn of morning's events kept flashing in her mind
