Part 60
Renuka walked in Prithvi's room and saw him sleeping on the couch...she felt bad for his Son...he had Nandini's picture in his hand...she turned around to look on the bed and saw all his wedding pictures on the bed...she couldn't look at his Son's condition and walked out of the room...
Rajveer saw her crying as she was coming downstairs...
Rajveer "Renu...what happened??? did you ask Prithvi to come for breakfast??"
Renuka cried out "why??? why this happened with us...i can't see him in this condition...please so something" she said while holding his hand...
Rajveer tried to console her "Renu try and control yourself..."
Renuka "how???? how can a Mother be fine if her Son is depressed...he doesn't talk to anyone...all day he sits in his room looking at Nandini's pictures...it seems he has completely broken down..." she looked at her husband ā¦.
Rajveer "it will take sometime...please don't force him...you know he loved her a lot"
Renuka "so what???? and we are nothing in his life??? whatever happened was bad...but now he should think about his life...we cannot get Nandini back...there is his whole life ahead..." she wiped her tears... "no Rajveer ā¦.i will talk to him...i have to talk...i can't see him like this...please don't stop me now"
Rajveer "but Renu...try and understand his situation...and I know Prithvi...he's very strong...mentally and physically...i am very sure he will be fine..."
both were talking when Prithvi came downstairs...he was all ready to leave for work...
Prithvi looked at his Mother "Mom...i have some important meeting today...can I please have my breakfast"
Renuka smiled and moved towards him "Prithvi you won't understand I am so relaxed...i thought that you haven't come out of the trauma but..."
Prithvi interrupted "Mom can I have my breakfast please?"
Renuka "sure beta...come" she kissed him on the forehead...
Prithvi "Dad...i was thinking if I could go back to Chicago...i can run the business there..."
Rajveer "as you wish beta...i didn't talk before as of the condition and..."
Prithvi "thanks Dad...i will leave tomorrow..."
He was having his breakfast while Renuka looked at him...as soon as he finished eating...he went outside... "bye mom..." he said and left...
Renuka "now look at his behavior..."
Rajveer "what happened Renu...he's fine now"
Renuka "fine???? you think he's fine...no Rajveer...he's not...he's stressing inside...he's getting more cold and aggressive...i was already scared of this situation ā¦..i knew Prithvi will become more violent now...you won't understand but I know my Son very well...he won't become weak but this incident has made him more strong like a stone..."
Rajveer "but he does all work perfectly...so what are you complaining about??"
Renuka "i am not complaining...why don't you understand his feelings...he is lonely...Nandini was the only girl who managed to melt him...he is very difficult...now I know their deep love...their bond...they were made for each other...i don't think anyone can replace Nandini"

Few days later...
There was a small ceremony in regard of Nandini at the mansion. Most friends and family were seen around sitting near a huge picture with a garland...
Richa opened the door of the car...as she walked in her smile vanished as she saw the garland on Nandini's picture and people dressed in white gathered for the prayers so that her soul may rest in peace
Richa cried out loudly "Nandini...what happened...what is this..."
Renuka saw Richa at the door "Richa beta..."
Richa "no Aunty...Nandini cannot leave...how can she...no..."
Prithvi was sitting next to her picture...he didn't move...nor he looked at anyone...
Richa came to Prithvi "Prithvi...where is Nandini???" she touched him from behind... "tell me..." she cried out... "where were you??? how did this happen...????"
Renuka tried to handle her... Prithvi was just looking at Nandini's picture...his eyes were red...but he wasn't crying...
Richa fainted...Renuka asked someone to help...she called the doctor...
Renuka informed Angad about Richa's condition...and also about Nandini...
Angad was shocked and asked if he could talk to Prithvi...
Renuka "Angad beta...Prithvi doesn't talk to anyone...he's quiet...it seems his life has gone away with Nandini..."
Angad "i will try and come soon...don't worry aunty everything will be fine..."
In the Meantime...
doctor checked Richa and asked her not to take any stress and relax...
Richa felt bad for Nandini...she spoke to Renuka... "Aunty Nandini had tolerated so much pain in her life...she suffered so much and now ā¦..i still can't believe she was such careful girl...have you checked everything...are you sure ???"
Renuka "Prithvi wasn't sure until he saw all the proof's and reports...they all proved it was Nandini who died in that accident"
Richa cried... "i came back because of her...she was so much excited when I spoke to her on the phone..."
Renuka "i know beta..." sobbing... "Nandini has left...but Prithvi's condition is even worse...he doesn't talk to anyone...it seems he has disconnected himself from everyone...i am so much worried for him..."
Richa "that's true aunty...Nandini was his soul...and how can he live without her...they both loved each other so much."

Next Day
Prithvi was getting ready to leave for Chicago...
Renuka helped him pack some of his stuff but kept on looking at him without saying anything...
Prithvi picked up his wallet, his watch and was about to move out of the room, when he stopped once and glanced at the room and again thought about his moments with Nandini...he looked at her picture on the wall and removed it...then hold it in his hand and walked off...
Renuka saw this and felt sad...
Rajveer saw him coming down "Prithvi this is the file...i have asked Angad to stay back...he was coming tomorrow... Richa is staying with us for few days...she's is unwell...and cannot travel much...once she's absolutely alright she can go to visit her Mother..."
Prithvi simple nodded and was about to leave when his Dad stopped him "Prithvi"
he turned to look at him...Rajveer hugged him tightly... "be strong Prithvi"
Prithvi closed his eyes for a moment... then took a long breath... "don't worry Dad...your Son is very strong...and can take care of himself"
he said and left... Daya helped him carry his bag and went with him...

Prithvi arrived at the airport when he was spotted by his friend... Angad looked at him and hugged him... he could feel his coldness...
Angad "Prithvi...i am sorry about Nandini and..."
Prithvi wore his sunglasses ā¦.. "lets go Angad...we have lots of work to do"
Angad was surprised at Prithvi's behavior but he knew Prithvi would never show his emotions to anyone...
Prithvi went straight to the site and started working on the project...
After some time...
Angad came with coffee "Prithvi please have some coffee..."
Prithvi took it and again went back to his laptop...
Angad knew he cannot ask him anything about Nandini...he didn't wanted Prithvi to think more about her...Prithvi was doing his work nicely...
It was late night...
Angad "lets go Prithvi...i will drop you"
Prithvi "you can leave Angad...i will complete this"
Angad "but this file will take another few hours...you should rest Prithvi"
Prithvi "i told you Angad...you can leave...i don't need any rest..."
Angad "Prithvi" he looked at him "why are you behaving like this???"
Prithvi "the man who couldn't save his wife, should never be allowed to rest..."
Angad "Prithvi...it's nothing to do with that...you always protected her..."
Prithvi "all I know is, whenever I left her alone...something or the other bad happened with her...i never deserved her...i am not a good husband"
Angad "Prithvi...if you are not good husband, then I don't think there could be any good husband in this world...i have seen you always caring for her...you loved her more than anything else...i could see that love in your eyes...please don't blame yourself for this incident"
Prithvi quietly sat down on his chair and looked at the ceiling "i am missing her badly...i can't live without her"
Angad felt terribly bad...he knew Nandini was the only girl who touched Prithvi's every nerve and she became his soul...
