Rahul stiffened for a moment..a fear lurked in his heart, "what???"

His face turned pale and his color faded!

Geet was so much enjoying that look on his face! And she just gave a missed call to jess' cell under the table…well it was time for jess to show up!!!

And the next moment jess came out talking merrily with a guy…you know baahon mein baahein types..ahh Rahul just couldn't take in the sight! Jess pretended to be totally engrossed with that guy and Rahul…he was almost going to break the table there! Geet couldn't stop giggling at the site. Maan wondered what was with geet and Rahul!

2 DAYS LATER

It was again the same case with jess Rahul and geet. And rhaul was getting really angry. He just banged the table and stood up!! It was too much for him!

Rahul (shouting at geet): ahh whats her problem?

Geet (innocently): whose?

Rhaul: you..your friend's!!

Geet (cutely): ohh you mean jess?

Rahul was so so so mad, "what the hell is wrong with her? everyday a new guy is with her…why don't you just say her to stop all that crap…damn..arrrgghh whatever! GEET…just go and tell her!"

In these two days geet has come to a conclusion that rhaul really liked jess but still she was utterly confused about the J thing! Anyways lets forget that thing… who cares about that when she is having super fun with Rahul and jess!

Geet (deliberately): what should I say?

Rahul took a deep breath in, "don't you try to act smart geet…I know you understand everything!"

Geet was enjoying his plight but still didn't like like Rahul to get so mad at her!

Geet (annoyed): yeah right…you are asking me to do something! About what han? I told you earlier Jess likes someone…that's entirely her choice…why are you getting so worked up han??

And what poor Rahul didn't know was that certain "someone" was he himself!

Rahul: you don't know? Geet…I can't see her with someone else! I love her damn it!

Ohhh geet was so jumping in joy but she made a stern face!

Geet: if you love her so much then why don't you just go and tell her instead of shouting at me?

Rahul saw Jess laughing away with a new guy today! And that was the limit! He closed his eyes, took a long deep breath in!

Geet: and if you think your love is strong enough then go ahead…ask her out directly!

And this geet's words were fanning his anger!

Geet (josh mein): come on..be a man!

Maan, who was a mute spectator of all the drama here, finally spoke up!

He whispered in her ears, "geet"

"hmm?"

"aaj kya kha kar aayi ho?"

"umm kyun?"

"wo kya hai na..aaj kuch zyada hi josh mein lag rahi hi ho!"

"shhh aap chup rahiye..am almost on my way to get this plan successful"

Maan (loudly): plan..what plan???

Geet glared at him, "SHHH"

He shut up instantly and watched the drama. Now Rahul has to prove that he was a Man! He directly walked to jess and pulled that guy away and punched him hard. Poor fella fell on the ground with a broken nose!

Jess (angry): heyy what the hell are you doing han?

Now they had gathered crowed.

Rahul (angrily): what the hell were YOU doing? Dare you look at some other guy..am gonna kill all of them!

Jess: what??? Are you out of your mind?

Rahul: you bet I am! And mark my words Jess!

Jess; whats your problem Rahul?

Rahul closed his eyes for a moment..may be it was time. He sighed and opened his eyes, went on his knees and extended his hand to jess! She had held her breath…OMG was this real?

Rahul: Jess..my problem is that…i…i..

Her anticipation went higher and higher and so did her heartbeat! Ahh she was falling short of breath!

Rahul: that…I….I…love you jess! And I don't have the courage to see you with some other person…I really love you…I really do! All these days I was scared to let you know my feelings but now am not (he muttered under his breath, "all thanks to this stupid geet") will you accept me as a part of your life?

There was a pin drop silence all around. Everyone waited for jess' answer! Jess was more than happy. He did love her after all….her plan worked…she just gave him her hand and nodded a yes!!! Their happiness knew no bounds. The whole college was clapping and hooting as Rahul hugged her. but more than anyone else…geet was the happiest one…her two close friends were together..wow!!!! she was almost jumoing and hugged him tight by his arms.

Geet: wow Maan… this is sooo nice na…

He just looked at her and her hold around his arm and smiled, "yes it is…!"

LUNCH BREAK

Maan again pulled her to a corner, "you had lunch?"

And she very gladly shook her head for a no. and he dragged her out!

This has been going on a regular basis. He knew she wouldn't have her lunch without him..but still he'd go, pull her to a corner and ask her and every time she'd happily shake a no as if Waiting for this moment and he'd drag her out! And now she never dared to even think of riding bike..Especially with him around!

They sat eating their lunch and talking here and there!

Maan: hey did you think about your theme on the closing ceremony?

Geet: aahan..we did…its Spanish Night this time!

Maan: ahh that's awesum geet..so Rahul and jess gonna dance?

Geet: dance? Why?

Maan: that happened every year geet….closing ceremony is only for students..no teachers! So couples are basically introduced to the world officially here…..you'll see there will be lot more! Like a prom night you see!

Geet: wow..this is so interesting..now come to think of it…Maan. Rahul aaj kitne gusse me tha..gosh..meine kabhi use itne gusse me nahi dekha!

Maan: geet wo gussa nahi J tha and that worked you know!

Geet: nahi Maan…how do you get J at such a time!

Maan: geet….that was not anger..

Geet: but mujhe ye samajh nahi aata ke isme J hone wali kya baat hai!

He rolled his eyes, " geet…if you love someone, the you would never want to share that person with someone else you know…this is where J comes into play you know! It basically happens when you are in love..its not bad though…this is something without which love is incomplete!

Geet seemed to be in a deep thought, "but I still don't buy that Maan…J is not good in any relation!"

Maan sighed, may be she needs to understand the thing!

Maan: ok dekho geet…take us as an example! Agar koi ladki mujhpe apna haq jataye to tummhe gussa nahi aayea? Agar wo mere saath flirt kare to you'd definitely feel angry na… aur agar mein bhi uska saath doon to…

He waited for her to complete the sentence and grasp what he has been trying to say...but geet is geet after all!!!!

Geet (innocently): to????

Maan (irritated): aahhh…you'll definitely feel angry and frustrated na..

Geet (cutely): and pray why should I feel that?

Maan (shocked): what???

He felt like banging his head somewhere!

Geet: aap kahin ke prince ho?

Maan: nahi..

Geet: you think you are too handsome or something?

Now that was a tough question for Maan but still he managed to lie, "n..nahi.."

Ohh boy..he seriously needs to work on his lokos now!

Geet: then there is no need to get angry or frustrated! What is truly yours will always be yours no matter how hard people try to take it away from you!

For a moment he was left speechless with her words! She always manages to say so many things in such simple words…he wondered where does she get all that from!

Maan: so you are saying that you won't feel anything if someone tries to flirt with me?

Geet: definitely not…

He raised his brows, "are you sure geet?"

She was so confident…and this is what he liked about her!
