CHAPTER 3
Sid got first aid kit. He cleaned her wounds and put bandage on her forehead. "sid, promise me you wont tell anything about me and abhay to anyone", said piya suddenly. "I think its too late. I told misha about it.", said sid sheepishly. Piya was shocked and asked," what? Misha? How could you?" sid rolled his eyes and said," miss melodrama, she is my wife and and your sister too. I had to do it. And yes that reminds me, she is coming tomorrow and yes avik too. Avik is bored at ur place. He is missing his dad too much." Piya smiled.
Sid and misha were married for 2 years and avik was their adopted 5 year old son. Every weekend abhay and piya used to go to orphanage to spend some time with kids that's when they found avik who had become their best friend and one day out of no where sid and misha decided to adopt avik, yes avik raichand and now the brat of the house.
"as it is avik needs to be back home soon. Misha is spoiling him and making him just like her.", said sid shaking his head. Piya rolled her eyes and said," look who is talking." Sid was glad that finally piya was out of her thoughts and smiling. He left piya so that she can have some sleep. But piya couldn't sleep that night because pain was too much, not physically but mentally.

Next morning everyone were waiting for abhay and piya. Abhay came first for breakfast. Haseena asked,"where is piya?" abhay was about to answer and piya said," I am here" piya came and sat next to abhay wishing everyone morning. Haseena saw that the bandage and asked," what happened to ur forehead? How did you hurt yourself?" piya looked at abhay and replied,"I hurt myself with the bathroom door. I didn't see the door and got hurt." Haseena asked in disbelief," u didn't see the bathroom door?" sid interrupted and said," mom, she is fine. Lets finish easting before misha comes. I want to leave for office." Piya chuckled and asked," why are you so afraid of misha?" sid muttered," who wouldn't be?"
"what ? you are afraid of me?" yelled misha form the door. "here the devil comes with another one", sid again muttered. "dad", yelled avik entering and hugging sid. Avik ran and sat on sid's lap and said," u ale so shweet dad. That's why I love you shooo much." Sid said," I know. What do you want?" "what? I show you my love when I want something. I hate you dad.", said avik pouting and went to abhay and continued," chachu, u mallied piya? She was my galflend! now who will give me kisshes?" piya had her mouth open and abhay kept staring at his question. Everyone started laughing. "avik, comehere", called piya and gave him a kiss on his cheek. And continued," don't worry avik, I will always be ur girlfriend. Abhay will never mind because he doesn't care." Everyone stared at piya. Piya realized what she said and continued," I became ur maasi but was ur gf rite? Now even if m ur chachi, I will be ur gf. Abhay thinks he doesnt have any competition with a kid. So he doesn't care" avik showing fake anger said," I am not a kid." Piya smiled and said," ofcourse not!" "enough! Abhay and piya be ready. Tonight we have a party at the pub", said misha. abhay asked," what party?" sid chuckled and said," in honour of you and piya getting married! But don't worry, just some friends where misha can get drunk." "I don't," snapped misha. "hell you do!", said sid.

Abhay was sitting in his room waiting for piya. Piya entered and sighed. abhay asked," what was that?" piya without paying attention asked," what?" "how dare you try to say things which are between us?", asked abhay furiously. Piya brushing her hair asked," what did I do?" abhay went near piya and pulled her towards him so that she can face him and held her arms tightly and asked," look at me when m talking!" "please abhay", piya removed abhay's hand and continued brushing her hair. "how dare you say that I don't care?" asked abhay. Piya kept the brush down and looked him asking," do you care? No! I told the truth and as it is they didn't understand a single meaning behind my words so just leave it." Piya left.

Abhay's diary
I pushed piya and she got hurt. But that wasn't intentional. It just happened. I saw her bleeding. I wanted to go and say sorry. But I couldn't. my hatred was more than my care. But I felt guilty. How can i do this to her? Whatever happened, whatever she did but how can I hit her and leave her bleeding. I feel ashamed. But I guess this is why piya used to tell me UR ANGER IS WORSE THAN U.today morning when she lied about getting hurt, I felt more guilty than I was ever before. But when she said I don't care the guilt vanished because how can she say that. When I confronted her she just asked me again that do I really care? Hell yes I care although she did wrong things. But I don't know why was I angry because she said I didn't care or because she told this in front of my family. Anyways I have a party to attend and fake a smile in front of my eyes. Lets get over with it.

Abhay and piya were sitting in the back seat with driver driving the car. Piya was smiling that time. Abahy was curious to know about the reason even after whatever happened how could she smile. "why are you smiling liking an idiot?",asked abhay. Piya got surprised because abhay actually after a long time asked something rather than fighting. Piya looked at him and said,"firstly m not an idiot. Secondly why do you care?" "whatever", said abhay. Abhay somewhere knew she was remembering the past when they used to go to pub and piya always ending up drunk just like misha.

It was new years eve. Abhay and piya were at pub with friends celebrating it. Piya was dancing with abhay and having fun. She got tired and went near the bar to have shots. Abhay knew this was bad news. Piya kepts having shots upon shots and abhay trying to not let her have.
Piya yelled in drunk state," abh..bhay…..loo…ook m getting drunk!" abhay rolled his eyes and said," you are already drunk piya. Lets go home. Its time for leave." "no..ooo..wait..i want more shots", said piya laughing. "you had enough for a day", said abhay still holding piya so that she doesn't fall. "oh abhay you are such a spoilt sport", pushed abhay while saying so.
Piya again went to the dance floor and started dancing swaying around everywhere. She looked so cute to abhay that time. Abhay pulled piya towards himself and said," piya, lets go." Piya smiled and pulled his cheeks and said," you are sooo cu…uute when yo..uu.. get angry but your angerrr is wor..sse than youuu." Abhay tried to pull piya out but piya started stamping her foot and sawying her hand up and sown like child and said," no abhay…I wont go..i wont go..i wont go..i wont go….i want to dance..i will dance..loo..ok they are dancing..u al..so..dance…u know dan..cing is goo..od..bu..ut..u..u…u..ar..re always busy flirting with bimbos..i will tell aunty to tie you with..a rope." Piya kept on blabbering something when abhay yelled," shut up monkey and u dare not speak a word!" piya put her finger on her lips. Abhay took piya near the car. Abhay took out his car keys but piya snatched it and sat on drivers seat.
"piya!what the hell are you doing? Get out and let me drive.", yelled abhay. Piya smiled and said," I will dri..ve…zooommm." "you are drunk..get out.", said abhay. " abh..hay..either come in or m going..alllooonee…" abhay had not choice and and sat next to piya. Piya started driving in a zig zag manner and suddenly banged with a tree. No one was hurt. Piya looked at abhay and said," I think m drunk" and passed out

The car came to an halt. They reached the pub. "time for some acting!", said abhay and then continued," oh wait! U are already a great actress!" piya ignored his taunt and went inside with him.
As they entered, everyone greeted them. Sid and misha were already there. They knew the whole scenario but still they did so to bring abhay and piya closer. Piya went straight to her friends and so as abhay. Piya was talking to misha when she saw T entering. "what hell is she doing here?", asked piya. Misha rolled her eyes and said," it's a pub darling!" T walked straight towards abhay. She hugged him and gave a kiss on his cheeks. Abhay smiled. Piya saw this. She was burning in jealousy. How can abhay do this? o wait! He was doing it purposely!
Abhay took T to the dance floor. Hey started dancing. Abhay and T both had their arms around each other. Sid and misha gave helpless look. But piya was angry. She went to the bar and started drinking. Piya couldn't take it anymore and went to the dance floor. She pulled abhay away from T and took him to a corner.
"what the hell are you doing with T", yelled piya. "I am dancing, cant you see?", said abhay and started leaving. Piya held his hand and said," wait! Why are you doing this. Accept it. We are married and u cant do anything now." Abhay removed her hand and said," not here piya. I don't want to create a scene" "really abhay? But you are creating it! There was a time when couldn't stand that T and now look..you are smiling and dancing with her", snapped piya "she is hundred times better than you piya", said abhay calmly.
"abhay, I know you need time and I understand. U can have it but trust me. I didn't do anything. Abhay I was happy for you when u said u loved alina because all that mattered to me was your happiness. But abhay, alina was really wrong. And yes I really didn't call those reporters abhay.", piya pleaded. Abhay threw his hands in air and said," so easy for you to say." He held her arms and started shaking piya continuing,"u know what atleast now u should say the truth. But no, I cant expect honesty from you! " suddenly he left her with a jerk. "abhay I will die without you. I cant bear ur hatred and that too for something I didn't do!", said piya. Abhay angrily said," I give a damn with what you do now! I don't care whether you live or die because u are nothing to me!" abhay leaft and piya was in tears.
Piya went to the bar and started drinking and crying. People around her were confused. Abhay was busy with T and piya was drinking. Misha came to her and said," piya stop it. How much will you drink." Piya in dead voice told misha," abhay doesn't care if I live or die, so it better i.." before piya could continue misha said," stop it piya! We are leaving. Wait I will get the car. Stay here. U are drunk." Misha left.
after sometime misha came and saw piya was missing. She looked around everywhere but couldn't find her. She tried calling her but of no avail. She got tensed as she was drunk. She went to sid and told him about piya being missing.
They rushed towards abhay and pulled him in corners. " where is piya?", asked sid. "how do I know and I don't care!", said abhay uninterested. "she is missing abhay", yelled misha. "I don't think so! She must be drinking. Check in the bar" , said abhay. Misha rolled her eyes and said," she was drinking and blabbering something that u don't care, she will die and don't know what all. I went to get car keys and now she is missing!" "what? U told her to die?", asked sid unbelievably. " abhay I swear if anything happens to piya, I wont spare you? Oh yes I know everything. Sid told me all", said misha angrily. "abhay, just pray that piya is alright or else you will regret it big time. i and misha are going to search her. If anything happens to her, I swear to god I will forget that you are my brother.", spat sid angrily and left with misha.
Abhay stood frozen he didn't knew what will happen next but just prayed silently that piya doesn't do something reckless and left the pub to find her.
