Julie Plec answers TVD's Fans Questions!

Ain't no party like a Twitter party, right? On January 22, Vampire Diariesexecutive producer Julie Plec answered many of her clamoring fans ardent questions about Buffy and Angel. Kidding! Well, she did mention how much she loved the Whedonverse and acknowledged that there are similarities between Angel losing his soul andStefan (Paul Wesley) going Ripper: "Not inspired by, no, but there was definitely a precedent there that worked that made us more confident we could go there." Plec responded to the 'shipper wars between Delena and Stelena fans and reaffirmed her allegiance to Team Salvatore. (She's also Team Eli and Grace from Once and Again, which earns her snaps.) Why did Elena confess she kissed Damon to Stefan?
Elena didn't owe it to him in that moment, but letting too many of those rare connected moments pass would have been dishonest.

Why was Stefan so upset that Elena kissed Damon?
He wasn't upset, he was devastated. Self-aware. Sad.
