Part 11: Jeevan Saathi Hain Hum

Geet came back after 2-3days. the next day I was being ready to go to her home.. it was a beautiful evening.. a romantic evening perfect to go to a date' mom went to their home a few hours ago.. I took a cab to Geet's.

After almost half an hour I reached there. When I entered their living room I felt like why is it so silent? Too silent to live.. if a water drop fell on floor you would hear the sound of the drop.. I hate that kind of silence.. like a silence of before a powerful storm..😕

"what happened anything wrong?" all turned at me hearing my voice.. Geet came outside of her room and stood on the steps hearing my voice..

"Maan.." my mom stand up and started to speak "it was my fault."

"I know your fault, it's always your fault.. but explain me what have you done?"😲

"I pressured you to marry the girl whom you said you'll marry at 10.. it's actually impossible after growing up.. I'm sorry.. you can marry girl of your own choice now.." she said in a breath..

Geet came down to stand next to her mom.. "Yes Geet.." her mom started to speak "we won't pressure you anymore.. we will find a better man for you.."

"and I'll find a much better girl than her.." my mom said and dragged me outside.. we were so dumbstruck that couldn't speak a word..🤔

"what happened?" I finally asked her reaching our hotel..

"don't even ask what happened.." she fumed.. "we will leave for Paris after a week.."

"What??!!" I exclaimed.. I asked the same question "what happened?" for the rest of the day but her answer was same.. "Don't even ask.." finally I lost my hope to know what happened..

I called Geet to know.. but was useless.. she was also clueless..

Maan: Geet.. what happened?

Geet: I'm totally clueless. A moment ago everything was alright.. and then all are fuming saying don't even ask what happened.😲

We both sighed thinking what actually happened..

Next Day

Me and Geet went to meet a nearby restaurant.. it should be a romantic date as it was first lonely meeting after our first kiss.. but it became a serious meeting.. we were getting wrinkle thinking what to do next..

"only one way left.." Geet said after taking a deep breath..

"What? Running away?" I said taking a sip of coffee.🤔

She nodded positively.. after discussing almost an hour we agreed to run away tomorrow.. can't manage registry marriage by tomorrow.. so decided to marry in a temple we somehow managed it.. and both of our families are very traditional.. they will agree if we marry in temple..

Next Day Afternoon

We met near our decided place.. ready to do BHAAG KE SHADI.. I never thought I would do something like this..

"Ready?" I asked looking at her.

"Ready.." she smiled..😊

We started to walk to take a cab to temple at the moment Louis called.. I picked up the phone..

"what? I'm in hurry.. I'm running away with my would be wife." I asked in a serious tone.

"What? Wait.. I'm stuck in traffic'"

he was saying so many things I couldn't hear for sounds I simply cut the phone..

"can't believe I came to marry wearing Patiala and kurti.." we were sitting at temple in front of holy fire.. after a few seconds she spoke.

"you can wear your proper dress in our normal wedding.. I'm already sweating.. how do girls manage to sit in front fire wearing so many jwelleries.." I turned to panditji "how much time it would take?"

"stand up for phere.." he said and we started to walk encircling the fire.. only one thing was in my brain and mind I have to finish 7 circles as fast as I can.. so that we can complete it before anybody from our family come here to interfere' can't stand a sec in front of fire.."

We came out side of the temple.. "finally we are Mr. and Mrs. Khurana now.." I smiled.. it's a strange feeling being a married man..

"hmm.. but you haven't still proposed me.." well I also know how it feels being tortured by own wife..😔

We started to walk toward main road a cab stopped crossing our way..

Louis came out of it..

"Louis!!!" my jaw was going to hit the floor.. "have you became Superman? How could you come from Paris to Delhi within an hour??"

"I said I'm struck in traffic.. didn't say in Paris or Delhi.. well congrats.. I want my treat."

"thanks.. but how do you know where we are?" Geet asked..

"your grand dad told me you have planed to run away.. some how Pari came to know where were you going to marry.. she told me to go there.."

"Daarji?" we both were equally shocked..😲

After a few seconds a SUV stopped just next to us.. It was Geet's whole family' daarji came towards us first.. "congrats to you' Geet my dear you have make us proud.. I knew it you would run away.. you have followed our family tradition of BHAAG KE SHAADI.😆 [if you can't remember I have mentioned in part 3 all members of Geet's family ran away to marry]

"Maan" my mom said.. "congrats my son.. you are now married to the love of your childhood.." mom hugged me.. "our plan worked so well.." she said looking at daarji..😉

My head was spinning.. they made plan so we ran away'

"don't be so confused Maan.." Daarji said kindly seeing my confused face.. "if we really had any problems with you two we would have locked Geet in our room.. we won't allow her to go out with you to make plan of running away.." he smiled playfully.😆

I looked at Geet and we smiled at each other..

"Well you can do your romance later." It was Pari.. "at first lets take a few pics.."

We all posed to take photo..

A week later..

It was our wedding day.. the most awaited day for me.. we were sitting in front of fire.. I was burning in fire but the sahera was protecting my face from sweating..

"you still haven't proposed me.."😔Geet whispered so that none could hear it.. God.. I was burning and it was the only thing that crossed her mind.. I looked at her.. her make up was perfect.. not a hair out of its place.. she was looking like an angel.. I couldn't take my eyes off.. she was wearing a pink lahenga .. but it was in my mind how she is managing her dress and make up in front of fire.. soon after I discovered Pari and her mom was sitting beside her to wipe her face from sweating..

Finally we were alone in a locked room.. the room was decorated with flowers'it's our suhag raat the sweet smell was filling the air.. she was sitting on the bed' looking so beautiful .. I took a deep breath thinking Now or Never.

I sat next to her and cleared my throat.. "I love you..." I kissed on her cheek..

"Finally.." she sighed.. " I told you in our story that you would propose me on our wedding night.. I never thought you would follow that.." she smiled..

"you can carry on later.. I'm not finished yet.." I sighed again.. "Ich liebe dich It's I love you in Germany." I kissed on her other cheek.. "Ik hou van je.. it's I love you in Dutch.." I continued showering kisses on her face.. "eu te amo. It's I love you in Portuguese.. te quiero.. in Spanish.. Finally je t'aime.. n it's I love you in French.." I sighed.. "I have learnt I Love You only to propose you.. happy?"

She smiled and hugged me.. "My Maan je t'aime" she ran her fingers in my hair "but the language of love is unknown until you fall in love.." I presses my lips on hers softly which turned into a passionate kiss.. I turned off the light of our room.. at last we became two bodies one soul.."
