CHAPTER 2

"Piya, what is wrong with you? You still not ready? Today its your wedding! Where is misha? I told her to see if you are ready?", yelled madhu. Piya rolled her eyes and asked,"misha? You cant be serious mom. Anyways, I will be ready in some time. U go and relax." Madhu smiled and said," I cant believe that you will be married to abhay. I always knew you both are made for each other. He is a great guy. I know he will always keep you happy." Piya tried to smile but only she knew what the truth was. Piya answered," yes mom, I know. Now go. Don't get all senti. I have to get ready." Madhu smiled and kissed her forehead before leaving. Piya sighed.

ABHAY'S DIARY

Today is my wedding day. But I am not happy. Because this is not what I wanted. I am getting married to piya. Yes piya, my best friend or shall I say I considered her that. I still cant believe she did that to me. She knew I loved alina but she separated us. She played such a disgusting game. She played with her own dignity. She loves me and I would have respected her feelings only if things were different. Piya wants to get married to me. Now I will make her regret her decision. I cant believe she still has courtesy to deny things but I will make sure that she realizes her mistake.

"abhay", entered sid. Abhay closed his diary and sighed. "what?", asked abhay irritated. Sid said," abhay get ready. Afterall its your big day." Abhay rolled his eyes and said," ofcourse it is. Afterall yours and piya's plan is working." Sid sighed and asked," why are you not ready to believe us? You knew alina since how long? I am your brother. Piya your best friend. We have been in your life since you were born. Cant you trust us? Above all you believe that alina? Are you serious abhay? You know what leave it! I am sure one day you will realize everything soon. I just came to check if you are ready. We have to be leave in some time. So hurry up." Sid left leaving abhay.

Raichands arrived at dobriyal house. Everyone seemed happed except abhay and piya. But were fighting their inner turmoil. Piya, whose dream was coming true, was not happy because she never wanted to get married to her love this way. Abhay, on the other hand was just playing along with destiny.

Piya came down dressed in her bridal attire. She was looking beautiful. Piya was searching only abhay. Finally she saw him and realized that he was looking too handsome in his sherwani. She just couldn't take her eyes off him. Abhay too saw piya and to his surprise, he couldn't help himself staring at her. Smile automatically crept his lips. He always used to call piya a monkey and make fun of her saying that he always wonders how will his monkey will look in a bridal dress. Piya saw abhay smiling at her and felt at ease but suddenly he moved his gaze. Piya sighed.

The wedding rituals started and with fun and galore, abhay and piya were married.

Piya was waiting in abhay's room or now their after post wedding rituals. Piya had a mixed feeling. She didn't knew how was abhay going to react. She stood near window and closed her remembering all beautiful moments spend with abhay.

[flashback]

Abhay and piya were playing basketball in the court outside raichand mansion. Abhay was dribbling the ball and piya was trying to get hold of the ball. But abhay was too fast. He was letting piya even touch the ball and was doing basket upon basket. Suddenly piya stopped and turned around pouting like child and said,"I am not playing with you. You never let me even touch me the ball." Abhay asked in teasing way," isn't it how we play basketball?" piya stamped her foot and started walking away," no, I am not playing with you."

Abhay followed piya and pulled her towards himself," you are such a cry baby. Cmon, you are my sweet little monkey. Cant you just jump around as you always do and take the ball?" "what? Monkey? Now you will pay for it dumbo" piya pushed abhay and took the ball from him and started dribbling and teasing him by calling him to get the ball. "not fair monkey! You cheated me!now you will pay for this!" abhay started running towards her and piya just threw the ball into the basket and started running with abhay chasing her laughing and giggling. "you can never make me pay for whatever I do!", yelled piya while running. Abhay said,"you will pay for everything one day piya, I promise"

[flashback ends]

Piya opened her eyes. A tear rolled down her cheeks. Abhay'a last words were echoing in her ears. Suddenly abhay entered the room. He saw piya and turned his face away. he picked up pillow and blanket and threw it on couch. Piya saw this and said," abhay, you can sleep on bed. I will take the couch." Abhay smiled and said," that is what gonna happen. That pillow and blanket is for you! I am not going to share my bed with you! You get it."

Piya sighed and asked,"abhay I know you are angry but I didn't do anything. It was all alina's plan. Trust me!" abhay asked," trust you? U got to be kidding me! You wanted to marry me right? Now I will make you regret this decision. And I cant believe that you still blaming alina! She did nothing, it was you, only you!" abhay started moving away but piya caught his hand. Piya said," abhay wait, u cant go like this. Atleast to listen me for our friendship, please. I love you abhay and I know you don't but atleast for some good moments we shared please!" piya had tears in her eyes. Abhay looked at her teary eyes and removed her hand from his with a jerk. He came near her and clutched her arms tightly and said,"you don't deserve even my friendship. You not worth it." Piya had tears flowing down her cheeks," abhay leave me, you hurting me..abhay please" "and you hurting me piya",yelled abhay and pushed her with force. Piya fell down with a thud and hit her forehead. Blood was oozing out of it. "you deserve this piya, you deserve this!",yelled abhay and left his room slamming the door leaving crying, sobbing and hurt piya there.
