"What's your price for one night??" he elaborated casually.

Geet felt like he has slapped her on her face!! She felt anger running through every vein of her body...

She can't believe that he said such a cheap thing to her!!!

She felt like slapping the man sitting in front of her but she rests for slapping the table instead because she knew that violence is never the solution for anything!! She has always been a non-violent person and she knew that this man is not worth it anyways...

So she channeled all her anger in slamming her hands on the table and gets up angrily and said "How dare you Mr. Maan Singh Khurana?? Main koi bazaar mein rakhi hui cheez nahi hoon, jiski aap keemat lagaayein!!!" But then she controlled her tone and said in a casual tone but the anger still visible in her voice "But you know what Mr. Khurana, mujhe aap par gussa nahi aa raha, kiyunki mujhe aap ki soch par taras aa raha hai!!! I pity your thinking!!! You might have learned all the rules of business Mr. Khurana, but maybe you haven't learnt simple lessons of life!! That not everything in the world is for sale!!!!"

Maan leans on his chair comfortably and says casually "You are wrong Geet!! I have seen life and the world more closely than you!!! And I know that everything in this world...mind you everything comes with a sale tag!!! Everything in this world is for sale if you know the right price!!!"

Geet smirks sadly at his stupidity "Oh really??!! So can you buy happiness with your money?? Can you buy morning's first ray of sunlight with your money?? Can you buy the first rain of the monsoons with your money?? Can you buy a small child's smiles with your money?? Can you buy elders' blessings with your money?? Can you buy true love with your money??? No Mr. Khurana, you can't buy everything with your money!!!! Sorry to disappoint you but life's true happiness can not be bought by money!!! And the day you realize this, that day you will learn the true meaning of life!!!!"

Maan smirks and said casually "I know you preach very well Geet!! You don't need to prove it again and again!!! And most of the things that you mentioned are either useless or waste of time!!! And Maan Singh Khurana doesnot waste his time on useless things!!! And as for matter of people, then yes... I can buy people with money!!! And I'm saying this from my experience Geet!!!"

Geet did not know whether she should say something or not!!! She knows by now that anything she says, is not gonna have any effect on him!!!

Before Geet could say anything, Maan opened the drawer of his desk and took out the cheque book from it. He signs a cheque and throws the cheque on the table towards Geet and said "There!! You can fill any amount you want on it!!!!"

Geet looks at him with narrowed eyes and picks up the cheque from the table...

Maan smirked seeing Geet picking up the cheque... So after all, all her lectures on morality meant nothing for her!!! This is the power of money!!! That is something that he has learnt in life... that nobody can decline a wealthy offer...and Geet is no different!!! It is way more easy to preach others, but when it comes the time to follow their own preachings...he has seen people back out!!!! After all, who can say no to money??!!! Geet was wrong... Money can buy 'everything'!!!

Maan's trail of thoughts broke with Geet's next words as she held the cheque in her hand and asked casually "What would be your approximate bank balance Mr. Khurana??"

Maan smirked and said "It's way more than you can imagine Geet!!! You can fill any amount without worrying about my bank balance!!!"

Geet picked up a pen from the pen holder and wrote something on the cheque...

After she is done, she gives the cheque back to Maan casually.

Maan looks at the cheque and a frown spreads on his face...

The cheque has been filled with innumerable zeros!!!! Every white space on the cheque was blackened with a zero!!!

Maan looks up at Geet glaring angrily while Geet smiled smugly.

He said angrily "Ye koi mazaak hai ya tumhe likhna nahi aata??!!" [Is this some joke, or you don't know how to write]

"Likhna to aata hai, magar bikna nahi aata!!!" she said seriously "You might be used to buying people Mr. Khurana, but I'm not for sale!!! And keep your money with yourself, you might need it for snatching someone's means of earnings!!!" she said with finality and turns to leave when...

The door opened and a guy enters with a 7-storey cake on a trolley.

Geet looks at the cake frowning in surprise...

"Happy Birthday Geet!!!" she heard Maan say and looked back towards him while still in surprise.

"How do you--??" the words escaped her mouth giving words to her thoughts but she didn't complete her sentence as she remembered that she is talking to one of the most powerful man of the world and it's not difficult for him to get information about anybody!!!

Maan smirked and answered her incomplete question anyway "Maybe you are forgetting Geet that I'm Maan Singh Khurana!! It's not hard for me to get something I desire!!!" he looked towards the cake guy and nods slightest towards him!!

The cake guy nods meaningfully and goes out closing the door after him.

Maan gets up from his chair and says coming towards the cake "Come on Geet! Cut the cake!!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Khurana, but I just celebrate my birthday either with my friends or my family!!! And I'm afraid you are neither my family, nor my friend!!!"

Maan glares towards her angrily...

MAAN'S INTERNAL THOUGHTS:

He doesn't know why her little remark made him angry whereas all her refusals hasn't stirred even a pinch of anger in him??!!

Technically she was right!! He was neither her friend nor her family... not that he wanted to be any!!! She is just the girl who has been able to arouse unknown desires in him, and once he will fulfil those desires, both of them will go their own way!!! No, he is not planning on having any relationship with her after he is satisfied!!!!

(Frustratingly) Damn! Where does this relationship come from??!!

(He thought determinedly) No!! He is not desiring any relationship with her!!! He has never desired any kinda relationship ever in his life... because he knows that relationships just brings unwanted emotions with them!!! And emotions just make a person weak!!! And Maan Singh Khurana is not a weak man!!!! That's the reason that he's the crownless king of this world...because he has always shunned from any kinda relationship that can make him weak!!!

Then why he is behaving so differently today?? Why all those times he didn't get angry when he would've got angry on any other day...or with any other person??!! Why he wants her approval to fulfill his desires, when he has never cared for anybody's approval till today...??? He has always done what he wanted, without caring what others want!! Is it something different in today's day, or is it just this girl???!!!

(The thought of a mere girl affecting him in a manner other than just physically, left him frustrated and angry at himself and in turn, at the source of this change in him... Geet Handa!!)

END OF MAAN'S THOUGHTS

His trail of thoughts broke with Geet's next words as she said formally but with a tinge of sarcasm "Thankyou so much for your precious time Mr. Khurana!! But I think we are done here!!! Goodbye!!!!"

She turns and goes towards the door and as she tries to turn the knob of the door, the knob didn't moved even a milimeter!!!

She tried knocking the door instinctively but nothing happened!!!

Geet's heart skipped a beat realizing that she has been locked up with Maan and she doesn't know how low he can stoop to fulfill his evil intentions!!!

But she pulls herself together and looked back at Maan with an impassive face and said "Open the door!!!"

Maan leaned comfortably on the front of his desk casually and crosses his arms on his chest and looked at her with amusement but didn't say anything.

Geet gets frustrated by his silence and comes near to him and repeated herself "Aapne suna nahi maine kya kaha??!! Open the door!!!" she ordered.

He still looked at her bemusedly and said with seriousness in his voice "This door won't open until you co-operate nicely!!!!"

The dangerous threat in his voice made her heart skip 3 beats!!!

But she controlled herself after a moment and said bravely with a tinge of frustration in her voice "Aakhir aap chahte kya hain??"

Maan looked at her from top to bottom with lustful eyes which made Geet uncomfortable and her hand instinctively reached on her neck on her dupatta...

She said "Look Mr. Khurana, you are just wasting your time!! I'm not that type of girl!!! Your any evil plans are not gonna come true!!! So open the door and let me go!!!"

For the first time in Geet's life, it was getting harder for her to keep a tab on her anger!! Normally she doesn't get angry on anybody, and even if she does get angry rarely, she is able to control her anger!!! But he was making it harder and harder for her to control her anger with his behavior!!!

Only she knew how she has restrained herself from slapping him when he has asked her about her price!!! But she knows that it was worthless to loose control on herself for a man like him!!! Because he held no importance in her life and it was insignificant of what he thinks about her!!!

Maan smirked and said casually without moving from his spot "What will I get if I open the door??"

Geet frowns at his words as the true meaning of his words dawned on her!!!

He didn't let her answer and said "Maybe you are forgetting Geet, that I'm a businessman!! And I do not do anything unless there's some profit in it!!! So I will open the door, but only when I get something in return for it!!!!" and he said curiously "So tell me Geet!! How desperate are you to get out of this cabin??" he finished with an evil smirk.

Geet didn't answer him and goes towards the door...

She knocks the door in the hope of someone opening the door "Koi hai???" She knocked again "Someone please open the door!!!" she knocked harder...

While Maan enjoyed her restlessness!!! The same madness for winning prevailing on him!!! The anticipation of his opponent's breaking on his feet again started to make him more impatient for victory!!!! Yes right now Geet was his opponent...her refusal was making her his opponent!!! And the world knows that Maan Singh Khurana is never lenient with his opponents!!!!!

He did not wanted to make her his without her consent...but her refusal was making him more impatient in every passing minute!!!! How much time he has already wasted on her?? He has never wasted so much time on anybody...not even on the biggest businessmans!!!

He was being nice to her for so long...so that she can come to him with her own consent!!! But maybe she mistook his nicety for his weakness!!! She needed to be taught that Maan Singh Khurana is not weak!!!!

He stands straight and goes towards Geet who was still busy in knocking the door...

"You are just wasting my time Geet!!" Geet jumps in fear at his words!! She didn't realized that he has sneaked up on her!! He continued "There is no escape from here!!! The only escape is if you agree to my demands!!!"

Geet looked at him while narrowing her eyes as her temper again rising to the next notch but didn't say anything as all her self-control is being used up in restraining herself from doing something violent!!!

Maan paused for a moment and in the next instant, he puts his hand in her hair locking her face at a place and leans towards her to kiss her!!! His moves were so quick and so confident, that Geet didn't realized what was happening!!!

She only realized that he was about to kiss her without her permission when he was few millimeters away from her face and...

THARRR!!!!!

A tight Slap!!!!!!!!!

Geet has slapped the great Maan Singh Khurana on his face!!!!

AUTHOR'S POV ABOUT UPDATE

OMG!!! What did you do Geet??!! You slapped MSK??!!! Lolzzz

So Geet slapped him after all...as everybody wanted!!! But honestly I personally didnot want her to slap him!! Because I shiver thinking the aftermaths of this slap!! Please include Geet in your prayers because right now she seriously need your prayers!!!😆
Hell knows what MSK is gonna do now!!! My mind is refusing to think what is gonna happen with her now???
