Part 26

Adi fell down and the person fell on him with the effct of his push... His eyes were closed with the hit of someone on his body... He thought it to be Maan...

Adi- acha sorry Maan... me mazak kar raha tha.. tu to serious ho gaya... plzz uth ab mere uppar se...

The person- Maan... me Maan nahi, Pinky hu...

Pinky was getting down to sit with others as said by Annie to go and she is coming... She suddenly collided with someone and fell on the person...

Listening to the female voice, Adi opened his eyes and looked at the person who had fallen on him... When he saw the girl, he was lost for a moment... She was so beautiful, her eyes, her chubby face, her wheatish complexion... Adi was totally lost noticing her facial features... He was watching her expressions changing from surprise to straight face to irritation.. All the expressions were clearly visible... She seems younger than him but she was definitely good looking... He heard someone calling him, he even saw her looking from him to someone else...

Maan came behind Adi, and literally screamed in his ears,

Maan- Aaadddiii (Adi)

Adi moved immediately with the scream and turned to see Maan standing and making faces...

Maan- Adi, kya dekh raha hai tu????

Adi- Kaan me kyu chillaya tu, aur vo bhi itni zor se... Behera (deaf) karneka plan hai kya???

Maan- aare, agar tu mere kehene pe dhyaan hi nhi dega to me aur kya karu... Vaise, tu Pinky ko aise kyu ghoor (stare) raha tha???

Adi- Pinky, kon Pinky???

Pinky came forward and said,

Pinky- me Pinky, jisse aap takraye ho... Saara mood kharab kar diya... Pinky left from there even before Adi could say anything...

Adi- Maan, ye kon hai???

Maan- Adi, ye Pinky hai, Geet ki choti behen... Itni bhi choti nahi hai, tu chahe to line maar sakta hai... Maan winked at flustered Adi... Adi was caught by Maan...He tried to cover himself...

Adi- kya bol raha hai yaar... Kuch to sharam kar... Apne Geet ki behen hai vo...

Even if Geet had just come into their lives, she had made a lot of space in everyone's lives... Khanak would never stop talking about her, and the few meetings they had done with her were very much enough to know her...

Maan so wanted to tell Adi that Geet is only his and no one else', but Adi being a good friend of his and Geet's, he knew Adi said it only in a friendly way, so he let it go...

Maan- aare Geet se kya darta hai?? Vo kuch nahi bolegi... ulta uske liye acha hai na, uska dost hi uski behen ko like karta hai...

Adi- wow, wow, wow, Maan, apne thoughts ko zara break laga, bohot aage daud raha hai tu... Me abhi tak jaanta bhi nahi hu usse aur tu apne conclusions par pohoch gaya... Tu kabse itni ghaai karne lag gaya yaar, tu thik to hai na???

Maan fumbled for a moment, as if he was caught... He looked her and there to recover himself, and said to Adi,

Maan- haa yaar Adi, aise kya bol raha hai... Chal ab sabke saath, vaha chalte hai...

Maan ended the topic immediately... Aid was being suspicious at the beginning but later forgot about it...

Later in the evening, everyone were sitting together and chatting a lot... DJ asked about each and every friend of Geet's, what they do, what their parents do... She even asked Geet about her parents... She was very happy to know that Geet was Dr. Handa's daughter... DJ knew Dr. Handa well, as some of her heart treatment was done by him... Maan knew about this, but he had not met Dr. Handa on a personal note, it had just been for DJ's health...

As the evening was descending, everyone split in groups, first all ladies together and guys together, then sometimes, one of the girls would join guys or one of the guys would join the girls... Later it turned into couples, as in, Khanak and Shaan, TJ and Suraj, Maan and Geet... Adi tried to talk with Pinky, but Annie used to be around always... So they had just formal hi hellos shared and some career related talks... In that too, Adi got to know that Pinky is just 2 yrs younger than Geet, and her talks told him, she was quite intelligent...

DJ was observing each and everyone, not just Maan and Geet... She got it that everyone over there had found thieir life partner, even Adi and Pinky... She could guess it with only a single glance... Aare itni umar me, dhoop me baal safed nahi hue hai unke, it has some experience too... She din't ask anyone, but the way they got distributed, being oblivious to each other, made her sure... She decided to do something so that each one of them can enjoy themselves... She called upon all of them together...

DJ- aare bacho, ye sab kya ho raha hai??? Sab aise alag kyu ghoom rahe hai??? Chalo sab ek saath aajao, hum kuch karte hai na... All gathered near DJ... Instead of sitting on the sofa, each one of them sat on the floor. As if DJ was going to take their class...

DJ- aare aap saare niche kyu baith gaye... Me koi class nahi lene wali hu aap logonki...

Everyone laughed...

Geet- kuch nahi DJ, bas aise laga ki aise baithe to baith gaye... aap boliye,hum kya kare???

DJ- aare, bachche aap ho yaa me... Tum log decide karo, tumhe kya karna hai...

Annie- Antakshari???

All- nah...

TJ- Annie dear, abb ye game bohot purna ho gaya hai... So don't even think of dumcharades too...

Annie- ok...

Khanak- Passing the parcel kaisa rahega???

Shaan- haa, ye acha hai... hum yehi khelte hai...

Annie- haa haa, Shaan bhai, abb aapko mene diye hue suggestions kyu pasand aayenge... ab hum aapke hai kon..!!!

Shaan- hey princess, aisa mat bol yaar... Tujhe pata hai na, its always you at the top of the list than anyone else...

Shaan said it very seriously and the atmosphere turned a bit emotional...

So to change the mood, Annie said,

Annie- aare bhai, me to mazak kar rahi thi, aap to serious ho gaye... chill karo yaar...

DJ- Tum sab log bohot boring ho... Chalo me hi bata deti hu kya khelna hai... Chalo sab ke sab khade ho jao... Annie, tum tumhari koi achi si songs ki CD leke aao... And mind you, the songs should be very nice...

Annie- thik hai DJ, mere paas ek CD hai, jisme English and Hindi songs mix hai, aur saare songs bohot hi ache hai... Me abhi leke aati hu...

Till then, DJ called Nakul to get some rectangular shaped papers which can be folded later on... Then, she told some other servants to move the sofas to some other place so that the hall area looked more like a party hall... She went and switched on all the chandeliers and switched off other unwanted lights... All were hell confused with what DJ was doing... Then, she made the servants move the CD player to one of the corner of the hall, the speakers were already fixed in such a way that the music will be heard in the whole hall... Maan tried asking DJ, what was she doing, but DJ dint even once looked at him... Dj ne to usse ghaas bhi nahi daali... Till then Annie came down with the CD and placed it in the CD player... The papers brought by Nakul were placed on the floor... Now DJ settled herself in one of the sofa which was placed near the player so that she can flip songs... She sat and explained all of them what she was doing...

DJ- so, now I guess you all got what you all are playing...

All- no DJ...

DJ- tum log to mujhse bhi zyaada hi buddhe ho... you guys are going to play paper dance, in which you guys have to dance on the paper... and after every song the paper will be folded further.. I hope tum logonko iske aage pata hai... so jaldi jaldi partner select karlo...

Geet- par DJ, mujhe pair me lagi hai, me kaise dance karungi???

DJ- aare Geet beta, zyaada mat nacho, just shake your booty... She winked at Geet...

Everyone first looked at DJ, then each other, then again at DJ and all burst out laughing...

Maan- DJ, what was that??? Where did you hear this??? Aur aise khule me bol rahe ho... Ho kya gaya hai aapko???

DJ- sabse Buddha yaha koi hai to vo hai Maan... Maan, tumhe to gaanonka shauk tha na... Fir ab kya hua???? You don't know its the wordings of a song in the movie Raone... SRK ki latest movie hai ye... Konsi duniya me jee rahe ho tum???

Maan- kya, aisa gaana hai??? Mahn, I m more than happy with the old collections I have...

Annie- think again Bhai... Saare songs aise nahi hai... Listen to my collection, you will surely ask me for those songs...

Maan- Acha thik hai... Now shall we begin with the game???

DJ ans Annie- Yeah...!!!

So the partners were selected, Shaan and Khanak, TJ and Suraj, Maan and Geet and Adi and Pinky... Annie thought she would dance with Shaan or Pinky, but both were taken so she went and sat besides DJ and enjoyed the game... DJ started the first song...

The paper was fully open... All were dancing in the own space, with quite a distance... They ball dancing, but not so closely... But the song was bringing them more closer, as if telling them all to makes Pyaar Ka Pyaarasa Sauda... All the couples were looking into each others' eyes trying to read what is going on in their mind... Adi and Pinky were very casually dancing as if nothing was affecting them, the song, the romantic atmosphere... But inside, they were enjoying their company... They both may not be able to comprehend their feelings right now, but something was definitely happening to them...

DJ stopped the song and looked at each one of them and said,

DJ- so, this was just the beginning... chalo, ab apne apne papers ko half me fold kardo...

Everyone did as per DJ said... The paper was folded into half, but there was ample space for each one to stand, even thought it made them stand very close to each other... And DJ started the next song...

The dance was going on very well... But the song was taking toll on Geet's thoughts... They were telling what she was feeling all the while... She had wanted to tell Maan about everything she was going through... But in all this process, she might loose her good friend too... If he didn't acknowledge her feelings, then she will be left nowhere... She already loves him a lot to loose him... Now that she knows, even he feels the same, what will happen when he will get to know the truth... Maan was looking at her, she was not with him mentally, her eyes told him... When she looked up at him, he raised his eyebrows as if asking her, what happened??? But seeing all the love in his eyes, she shook all her thoughts away, and decided to enjoy this moment with him...She looked at him with a smile and nodded negatively, telling him, nothing happened... All that stuff should be left on time to decide what is there in their destiny...

On the other hand, TJ and Suraj were really enjoying their company... they had also recently acknowledged their feelings to each other on their daily chatting and talking sessions on phone... All this dance thing was worth to know each other without any words... Shaan and Khanak were also lost in each other, drowning in the pool of love in their eyes... Their love had gone further and were ready to tell everyone about it... and this get together was a good opportunity to let their friends know... but Adi and Pinky were still not able to go on so ahead.. They hardly know each other, so ball dancing was not so much a good idea... so, they tried balancing on the small paper, but couldn't and at the end of the song Adi couldn't balance and his one leg fell out of the paper, to which Annie screamed,

Annie- Adi bhaiyya out... Aapne paper ke bahar pair rakh diya...

So now, Adi and pinky went and sat with DJ and Annie...

DJ- chalo, ab paper ko next half me fold kardo...

All the 3 couples did it and it was too small to let 2 people stand on it...

DJ- ab shuru hota hai asli competition... Ab kaise manage karoge... Annie, Adi and Pinky started laughing... And the next song started...

Music...

Suraj took TJ on his back, as if for a piggy back ride, her hands around his neck and legs around his waist... Shaan picked up Khanak in his arms, her hands around his neck and Maan told Geet to step on him, her hands also around his neck, and Maan's around her waist... All of them were deeply lost in each other... But TJ ans Suraj's position was quite awkward and also they were not able to see each other...

By this time, TJ had slid down and Suraj had lost grip, so TJ fell down with an impact and screamed with the fall...

TJ- ouchhh...!!! Suraj thik se nahi pakad sakte the kya... awww, mumma...

Suraj turned immediately to help her stand up...Annie and Pinky came forward to help her too...

Suraj- sorry yaar, but tum itni bhi halki nahi ho, jitna tumhe dekh ke lagta hai...

And after saying this, he got a hard punch on his arms... now, it was Suraj's turn to shout...

Suraj- ouch...!!!what the... He ate his words seeing TJ's angry face...

DJ and others were laughing at them...

DJ- So another couple is out... fold the paper in further half of it... you two to go... She pointed at the 2 couples... DJ whispered something in Annie's ears and Annie went towards the CD player... And the next song started...

Music...

Now there was very less place, even for one person to stand, they both had to tiptoe... So even Maan picked up Geet like Shaan had already picked up Khanak...

DJ had desperately told Annie to put on a fast track song so that they can fumble and get off the sheet, but both of them were so lost in their partner that there was no way they could notice the beats of the song, but they did notice the words of the song... All the four of them had mouth wide smile on their faces, like saare ke saare apni batisi dikha rahe ho...

Both the guys were lost in the eyes of their lady loves, as if meaning each and every word of the song...

Both the guys were looking at their girls' lips intending and meaning fully the words of the song, making the girls shy and look down... They were totally lost in each other... DJ was noticing all this and totally loving it... others were quite busy with some or the other things to notice what DJ did...

The song ended but the couples were nowhere out of their love filled love... They were still lost in each other... All others were very happy seeing them so lost in each other and were sure that somthing was cooking between each one of them... DJ decided to bring them back to real world... She started clapping, while others joined her... This brought both the couples out of their reveries and their lovely world, where they were walking hand in hand...

Dj- so we have 2 winners over here in the game (she whispered to herself) and also in their love life... No one heard what DJ said later... Annie interrupted,

Annie- yeh acha hai, sabne enjoy kiya mere alawa... Mujhe to sab bhul hi gaye... She sat making angry funny face... Looking at her, all the guys looked at each other and smirking as if thinking the same thing...

All the four of the sat in front of them, bringing their hands ahead and saying, all together,

All guys- may I have this dance, lady... Annie turned to see all her loving brother bending down to her and asking her for dance...Her smile widened...

Annie- uff, abb charo mese kiske saath dance karu... she was pointing to each one of them, and thinking whom to choose...

Annie- DJ help karo na... itne handsome boys mere saamne haath bichaaye khade hai, me kiske saath dance karu...

DJ- kisike bhi saath karlo... aapko to 4 4 log puchne aa gaye, mujhe to ek ne bhi nahi pucha...

Immediately Maan and Adi shifted to DJ... Her smile widened too... TJ wentand took the remote from Annie and was selecting a song... DJ chose Adi and showed her thenga to Maan, and Annie chose Suraj and putting her toungue out towards Shaan left with Suraj and the song started,

Adi- DJ and Suraj- Annie were enjoying themselves... And Shaan and Maan were making fake sad faces, like hugging each other and pretending to cry and all... They had always won over ladies with thei charm, so DJ and Annie decided to do otherwise and went on with Adi and Suraj... Both the couples while dancing were looking at both of them and their nautanki... DJ and Annie excused themselves from Adi and Suraj and went towards the 2 idiots acting pathetically... DJ went to Maan and Annie to Shaan and tapped their shoulders and asked them for dance... They both first did all the nakhra of not accepting them and looking here and there, but then agreed and went to dance with DJ and Annie... All others were laughing hilariously with their full on nautanki...

They were all dancing dramatically trying to enact the words and also Aamir khan... All were laughing seeing the drama Shaan and Maan were doing... They enjoyed the evening like hell... All were very happy with the turn of events in the whole evening...

Later they had dinner together laughing ang pulling each others' legs... Also had great dessert especially made by DJ for her loving children... Shaan and Khanak disclosed their relationship status to all present... All were very happy listening to it... Dj blessed both of them and Geet and Maan hugged their friends dearly, being happy for them... After sometime, everyone left bidding goodbyes to each other, taking DJ's blessings and kissing Annie... Pinky and Annie exchanged number, even Adi and Pinky took each others contacts oblivious to others... Shaan left with Khanak and Adi, Suraj with TJ and Maan went to drop Geet and Pinky... The evening had turned in a very awesome way... Pinky enjoyed her evening and it was really a breather for her... Geet was very happy seeing Pinky in a jolly mood and hanging with Adi... Maan was happy, seeing geet happy... And the day ended with a very awesome evening for each one of them...
