She groaned in frustration. Why did she have to get sick? She needed her energy to fight this Udayveer. He had the upper hand since she was feeling unwell the past few days. Today he had taught her to use fork and knife. At first she could not even grasp it but to her sister's chargin she did succeed after all. She smiled how J Nandini had gotten upset since Udayveer had his eyes only for her.

Then she shook her head and admonished herself.

" Tu Akash ki Monia ho, use Udayveer ki princess nahin," she muttered herself.

She wanted her phone. She decided to look for it. Maybe he had gotten bored and left it laying around. Akash would be worried for her.

She went towards the stairs. Her independence had been snatched away due to a chest infection. Of course she was grateful for the care and consideration. However she didn't like being lectured about how she had to respect Udayveer.

"What century was this anyway? Respect that kameena?," she shooke her head as she thought about bowing towards him.

She nearly giggled until she found him at the bottom of the staircase as if he was waiting for her all along. She grew angry. He really needed a hobby. He was always everywhere.

" So here you are hiding. Give me my phone now," she demanded.

He showed her the phone then lifted it away. She tried to snatch it from his hands, but then she felt herself falling. She looked up to see him smiling at her. His arms held her up. She squirmed trying to free herself.

" Dekho jaan tum wahaan hum Manyata," he declared with his smirk.

He slowly lifted her up, caressing her back as he did so.

She felt dizzy. She didn't know if it was because of the near fall or because of something else.

"Tum theek toh Manyata," he inquired.

She nodded as she tried to breath in and out. He put his arm around her and led her to sit on the couch.

He ordered the servants to bring her juice and a shawl. He held her drink some juice and wrapped the shawl snuggly around her shoulders. She managed a slight smile after she drank some juice.

She felt she owed him a thanks.

"Thanks Udayveer. Ab hum theek hain," she assured him.

He smiled brightly and tucked some hair behind her ear. He sat beside her. Unnati arrived and inquired about her health.

"She nearly fell just now but I think if she listens to us and Doctor Uncle she will be fine soon," Udayveer stated.

Unnati smiled.

"Oh so she can't join us on Friday for the club's anniversary party?," Unnati said.

"If she feels fine of course she can. However she has to wear something like a proper princess," Udayveer insisted.

Unnati glanced at Manyata.

" What say?"

Manyata was thoughtful for a moment. It would be nice to get out of the palace after several days stuck here.

She nodded affirmatively.

"Good so tomorrow we will have a dance class for you Manyata. Unnati knows a good dance teacher. Of course I will be around to be your dancing partner," he quipped.

Manyata pondered at his behavior and her destiny. She had to do all this to talk to Akash but suddenly she was more excited simply to experience her new life.

The theme would be blue. She got blue gown with cap sleeves and it went down to her ankles. When she looked in the mirror she truly felt like a princess. She smiled brightly. She slipped on her earrings. Someone had helped her with her make up and hair earlier. She stepped into her shoes and preceded to walk down the steps. Udayveer looked up from where he stood. He looked at her a bit amazed.

He realized she could trip when he noticed she was wearing heels. He stepped over and offered his hand. Her eyes locked with his. She slowly but surely placed her hand in his. She stepped down without incident. Komal and Dadisa blessed them and told her she looked beautiful. Brijraj wished them a good time. They left with J Nandini, Vijay Bhai and Unnati.

The couple's chemistry was exhibited when they opened the dance floor for the others. Udayveer and Manyata moved together in unison. He had her dip down at the end of the song. Their eyes met again as he helped her stand again. J Nandini was steaming mad and found someone else to dance with. Everyone clapped breaking their eyelock. She quickly stepped away not believing she had actually enjoyed this with Udayveer or the fact she was able to match up with his footwork.

She stood alone staring out up at the dark sky, stars glimmered up above. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Udayveer nursing a drink. Today she did not feel hate for him. He indicated her phone and placed it within her reach.

She took it but barely looked at it. He smiled thoughtfully. For some reason she didn't like that drink in his hand. She looked at it and then simply took it and placed it on a tray a waiter was carrying.

She looked back to see his amused expression.

"You never get drunk anyway. What is the use of drinking?," she quipped.

He laughed.

" Are you up for another dance princess?," he asked.

She nodded and without thinking clasped her hand in his.

this was really good! liked how she didn't look at the mobile after uday returned it - kind of reminded me of how she totally the date before J made it a mess 😕

i want to see her excited about all the pretty things a princess could have just like in this OS.😆
