Part 25

Geet was totally silenced again... what will she tell him now... It is too early to tell it to him...She looked at him with pleading look hinting him not to ask it right now...

Maan understood her dilemma... That is what she tried to tell him that she needs time...

Maan- ok I got it, that is what you wanted to tell that you need time to tell me that... And I trust you that you will tell me... But does that mean you acknowledge my feelings towards you??? I will not say those words right now as you said, but...

He didn't say anything further... He just looked at her with a blush on his face... She was looking away with a dark red blush on her face and smiling... Maan was totally flat on her sweet blush... Both were content to know that they have mutual feelings for each other, even if not totally committing each other with themselves...

Without saying much further, Geet looked at Maan and said,

Geet- Maan, now we seriously should get back to work... Aaj ka bohot kaam pending reh jaaega... I even have to call TJ, Khanak and Pinky... She tried to show her seriousness, but it was tough with all the love she was able to see in Maan's beautiful eyes... So she was looking everywhere but Maan...

Maan also came back from his love struck condition and got down to business...

Maan- haa thik hai... mujhe bhi to unn 3 bandaronse baat karni hai...

Geet- Maan, vo tumhaare dost hai, to tum bhi ussi category me aate ho... vaise kitne baje bolu unko aane ke liye???

Maan- yaa yaa, I know... by 7pm... tht would be fine... ab jao ms. Geet Handa... or else I will have to think on the contract again... he said it with a slight smirk on his face...

And with this dialogue, Geet ki professionalism jag uthi... She again came to her professional self and got back to work...

Geet- Ok sir, I will get going... Now we will directly meet in the evening at my DJ's place... saying, she left Maan's cabin...

Maan was totally amused with the change of her attitude... Maan had said it very light heartedly, but she actually got serious... She is so right, I still have to know a lot about her, he thought... And also her authority on DJ didn't go unnoticed by him... The way she said "my DJ", it was so full of authority and dominance... Maan was head over heels in love with her... But still he will get to know more about her... Thinking so he got back to work... In the free time, he called Suraj and told about the get-together at his place, and also told him to inform Shaan and Adi...

Here in Geet's cabin, she also called up both, TJ and Khanak in one conference call and told them about the party...

Geet- tum dono ko bhi bulaya hai DJ ne...

Both in unison- DJ???

Geet- uff, sorry... Maan ki Daadi ne, unke ghar pe dinner ke liye bulaya hai... its a small get- together... sab aa rahe hai... Sruaj, Shaan, Adi and also bringing Pinky...

Listening to Suraj and Shaan's names, both, TJ and Khanak were happy... But were equally confused as to why are they invited???

TJ- vo to thik hai, but hume kyu bulaya hai...????

Geet- vo actually Maan ne sab ko bula raha tha, but then ussi ne bola ki tum logonko bhi bula lu... and uski behen Pinky se milna chahti hai... So Pinky ko bhi bulaya hai...

TJ and Khanak- ohh... ok...

Geet- to milte hai sham ko... tum log kaise aaoge??? I mean address nahi hai na...

Khanak- koi baat nahi, me Shaan ke saath aa jaungi...

TJ- ha aur me Suraj ke saath...

Geet, a little baffled- ohkk... Is there something I have missed in here???? Shaan ans Suraj, scene kya hai???

TJ and Khanak both turned silent and were blushing on either sides of the phone...

Geet- Ok, I got a hint... abb tum dono jab batana chaho tab bata dena... Geet was very happy for her friends... So, now all the 3 friends are going around with the other 3 guy friends... So now, they are more like a group themselves...

Geet- ok, chalo ab rakho aur apna apna kaam khatam karo... byee...

TJ and Khanak- byee...

Geet also called Pinky and told her to come home early so that they can go for the party... Pinky was not ready before due to her approaching exams... But then Geet convinced her by saying it would be a breather before exam and she will also meet a new friend... So even Pinky agreed...

So all of them got busy in their work, to finish it as early as possible...

Geet left office at 5pm after completing her maximum work for the day... Since she had been sitting the whole day and without any silly accidents taking place, her foot was quite better now... She informed Maan about her departure and left... She didn't go in his cabin to avoid any further confrontation; already it was too much for the day...

Even Maan left after half an hour to get home and check what all arrangements are made by Annie and DJ... Even Suraj left with him...

Geet came home early and found Rono at home... She told Rano about the party and headed to her room to get ready... Even Pinky came after sometime and went to get ready...

Geet was unable to decide what should she wear... Her office wear was out of question... As she was going to meet DJ, casuals were not a good option, and she was still not comfortable with sarees, so best thing was a salwar suit... But all she had were chididaars, n she wouldn't have been able to wear chudidaar or jeans either due to her injury... So she decided to wear a full length lavender and blue colour skirt and a cute short kurti with a stole on it... She was looking very beautiful in it... She left her hair open and kept all of them on one of her shoulder...

And after Pinky was ready she left to his place... She reached there by 7.15pm... No one else had yet arrived... It was a very big bunglow amidst many other bungalows near Nariman Point facing the sea with a beautiful view of Bandra- Worli Sea link... (OK, I know, it is not seen from Nariman Point but just to have a gr8 view I have shifted the sea link from its place... sorry... but I love the actual view of the sealink so I have used it over here...)

She rang the door bell... And the door was opened by one of the butler of the KM... Both Geet and Pinky entered the mansion...

It was a very big one, of course, it had to be, itne bade businessman ka ghar jo hai... And the best thing of it was, it had a very homely feeling... Sometimes, even the biggest, costliest and beautiful house does not have a very homely feeling, and sometimes even a small 10 by 10 room is also very cozy (sorry, thoda filmy ho gaya) but this big bungalow was worthy to be called a house... The entrance was so big, very beautiful chandelier was hanging to the ceiling... Both were mesmerized with the beauty of the house...

DJ was waiting for them... As she saw Geet coming in, she told Nakul to call Annie and Maan... She went to attend both of them...

DJ- aare Geet beta aap aa gayi.. plzz come in... aur ye aapki sister hai???

Geet- haa DJ, ye meri behen, Pinky...

Pinky- hello aunty... Pinky was confused to see Geet calling the old lady, DJ... She seemed to be a very respectable lady, then why is Geet Di calling her DJ, she thought...

DJ- aare beta call me DJ... everyone in this house and ur Geet Di calls me DJ...

Pinky- DJ???

DJ- Daadi ji... DJ...

Pinky- ohh DJ, in that sense!!!! I thought why was she calling you DJ... She laughed nervously smacking herself to thinking like an idiot... Both the other ladies also smiled...

In a meanwhile, even Annie joined the ladies... She came and hugged Geet dearly... Geet introduced both Pinky and Annie... Even if Annie was younger to Pinky, both got gelled up very well...

Maan was coming down the stairs when he saw Geet sitting with DJ... For a moment, he stood still in his track looking at Geet... She was looking so beautiful even in her such a simple dress... The top was supported by only 2 strings but it was not at all looking vulgar... And even to hide it from even slight to look odd, she had taken the stole in such a way, it hid all her upper parts very nicely... Some part of her shoulders were visible through the ending of the stole... Ohh, her milky white skin was visible to him and it was very much alluring... The skirt very well hid her hurt leg... She must have decided to wear the skirt due to her injury, he thought... She was so simple, yet so beautiful... Aaj kal Mumbai me kaha dekhne ko milti hai aisi simple si yet so beautiful ladki... Maan was brought out of his thoughts by running Annie...

Annie- Bhai, aap kya dekh rahe hai??? She said tapping on his shoulder...

Maan, coming out of his thoughts- haa, umm... kuch nahi Annie... Tum kaha bhaag rahi ho??

Annie- Me Pinky Di ko mere room me leke jaa rahi hu... She pointed out to Pinky...

Pinky- offoo Annie, plz mujhe Di mat bulao, me tumse itni bhi badi nahi hu... turning to Maan, hello, aap shayad Maan ji hai...

Maan- hii Pinky, tum Geet ki behen ho.???

Pinky obediently nodded...

Maan- tum bhi mujhe bhai bula sakti ho.. Maan ji is too odd... He smiled at her...

Pinky- thank you Maan bhai... me soch hi rahi thi aapko kya kehke bulau... Ji is very much old to your handsome look...

She complimented...

Maan- ohh, you think so, thank you...

Pinky- agar mujhe aise naa lage to meri jaisi pagal ladki nahi hogi iss duniya me...

Annie- ye to tumne sahi kaha Pinky... Mere bhai hai hi handsome...

All the three laughed and all went on their ways... Maan down the stairs, and Annie and Pinky to Annie's room...

Geet saw Maan talking with the girls... He was also looking very hadsome in his casuals... He was wearing a darker shade of lavender, as in purple colour shirt and well fitted blue jeans...

Seeing him in suits all the time, the casuals made him look very much handsome and cool... The first 3 open buttons of his shirt was letting his clean shaven chest visible to her... The tight fitting jeans was showing off his awesomely shaped buttocks... She was actually checking him out... When she saw him move towards them, she mentally slapped herself for looking at him in such a way... Her thoughts nowadays have turned too much to handle...

Maan came down stairs and sat besides DJ... At the same time, Khanak, Shaan, Adi, Suraj And TJ entered the house...

Maan got up again and went towards them...

Maan- hey guys, there you are... atlast mile ho tum log mujhe...

Shaan- ha ha, busy to hum log hote hai, hume hi fursat nahi hoti tumse milne ki... voh to DJ ne bulaya hai isiliye hum time nikal ke aaye hai... Hum isse nahi jaante, kon hai ye DJ?? Koi naya employee hai kya KM me??? none of them acknowledged his greetings and went inside to meet DJ... the girls couldn't do much... they went and sat besides Geet...

DJ- Aare nahi Shaan beta... vo naa humare so called pote hai, jinke paas aap ke liye kya, humaare liye bhi time nahi hota... All were teasing Maan... He found place on the other side of Geet, so he went and sat besides her... He was making a sweet sad face...

Aww, Geet was smiling with others, but looking at his cute sad face she melted totally and tried to pacify others for him...

Geet- Kya Shaan, aise kyu bol rahe ho... Agar vo nahi hota to hum thodi na mil paate aaj... usi ka idea tha sab ko bulane ka... nahi to it would have been just me... She tried to reason...

Maan was so much obliged when Geet took his side... aww, he so much wanted to hug her, but controlled seeing everyone...

Maan- Dekha, ye idea bhi mera hi tha... DJ ka nahi tha...

Adi- ha ha thik hai, Geet keh rahi hai isiliye hum maan lete hai... nahi to tujhe nahi chodte itni asani se...

Maan- acha Geet ne kaha isiliye maan liya haa... aur agar me keheta to nahi manta haa...

Adi- obviously nahi karta... Tera kya bharosa, kisi aur ka credit apne upar lele...

Maan- acha, meri itni saalo ki dosti ko chodke Geet ki baato par yakeen karta hai...

Adi- haa, aur nahi to kya... Vo kabhi jhooth nahi bolti aur ye tu jaanta hai...

Maan- ruk jaa saale, abhi dekhta hu tujhe... And he started running behind Adi and Adi was running for his life...

Adi- acha sorry Maan, me mazak kar raha tha... bas aur kitna bhagayega...

He was looking behind at Maan... But in the next moment, he collided with someone and fell down with the person on the floor with a thud...
