It's kink, but you don't ever tell her, croons Aerosmith and we wonder if there are women who boldly make kinky demands from their partners. Actor Parmeet Sethi says with a big laugh, "I can't tell you about any printable demands asked of me, but one of my close friends, who is a well-known villain in Hindi films, often gets asked by women to rape them the way he does it in films."

We have reason to believe that women across the globe indeed make off-the-cuff demands that take our men folk by surprise. Stand-up comedian Ash Chandler, who couldn't help laughing when faced with our question, says, "I have had weird things asked of me, so I prefer not to comment."

But it's not just the unusual desires that have men vexed. Adman Prahlad Kakkar reveals there have been many frustrating moments. "When you are busy going at it all guns blazing and the woman says, 'One sec, huh,' and runs to the kitchen to switch off the stove, she puts out the fire everywhere," he says. Women make it worse, he adds, by coming back and saying, "Aww…you poor thing."

VJ Nikhil Chinnapa uses our question as an opportunity to request all women to "please not ask us to operate electronic appliances once we are in bed." Er, what appliances exactly? "Once we are comfortable in bed, we don't want to get up to lower the AC, dim the lights…" he trails off.

It is, after all, the age of the celebration of all things kinky. We are out to tom-tom to the world that the kinkier the life, the more you'll be in demand. Whip out the S&M gear, polish your stilettos and keep the leather buffed and smooth.

Remember, if we can have men in blue tights and dressed as bats saving us from world destruction, we shouldn't have to apologise walking down the road in fishnet stockings and a patent leather leotard, wielding a cat-o-nine tails.

From there on, it can only get fiestier in the bedroom. From the looks of it, to make sure it's all smooth sailing, it's best to invest in one of the all-in-one remotes for some of the more umm… private moments. Or you could just learn to be super charming when you voice your kinks.
