Open your mouth '. He said in a threatening tone and geet looked up to find him looking at her with red eyes'and she just looked at him in fear'.. I said open your mouth geet'' he shouted'. And geet opened her mouth hesitatingly'.. to which maan smiled and gave her the medicine and then the water which she gulped'.

Why do you make every thing so hard for me biwi???? He asked while touching her lovingly that scared the hell out of geet and she turned very pale'.. when maan saw this he became even more angry'. And held her hairs tightly'..

The rest of the two days had been for her like this'. Thw whole day they would be roaming and maan would show her various places' and night'. They would be living hell for her'. Although maan tried to be smooth with her ' but he couldn't help it' his anger would always take over his better part' and he would always end up hurting her' and what added to his miseries was that what ever he did, however he manhandled her' she never complained to him or even said a word to him' just relpied him what ever he asked or remained quiet and her most of the time would be spend in the garden'. Although every thing was well' but still hre health didn't improve' her coughs and sneezes increased ' and added to that her time to attent the collage was also coming near so they had no other option than to leave for delhi' for which geet was greatful'. Atleast there would be some who would be friendly to her'.

MAAN'S MONOLOGUE'.

I saw her' she is my wife'. She was sitting with my family while the rasams were being done .. and she was with me' she doesn't speaks much' really to whom was I kidding??? She is a actual chatter box' she speaks so much that you will go mad'. But with me she speaks less'. From the time she had seen me in the mandap and she realized that she was marriying me' I wont deny that I had used all the means I could to make her mine' and she could not accept me' and I know the reason why' because she loved and still loves some one else'.. and I had taken that risk' knowing that she might never be able to love me'.

I am not a soft man' I am hard ' I am rough'. With my emotions and with my body'. And I had never desired a soft lady for she wont be able to bear me'. But I had ended up marrying a soft.. sensitive girl'. Just a 18 years old girl who turned 18 just 7 days back'. And I was a 34 years old man' no one in my family knew that I was intended to marry biwi'. They had thought that I would be marrying some other girl'. But my youngest brother knew it'.. as he was the one due to which I was able to marry her' he was her best friend '. And we all knew it' but he was also y youngest brother who never went against my words'.i had taken many risks to marry her and had put many relation in the verge of breaking and one of them was their friendship'. Of geet and vikram' my brother' and I can see it'

I had never wanted to force her in to any physical relation'. But looking at her snapped the last thread In me' and then hearing his name increased my anger and I did whaat I had never wanted to do'. I made love to her'

I can see biwi'. She is as she should be with everyone.. not giving them a hint of the truth of our marriage' or what had happened in our honeymoon' she is now helping meera and avni in making the lunch'.. they are my two younger brother's dev and sameer wifes'. All three of them have driven out mom and dadi from the kitchen' and had captured it'. As they called it so'. Infact they both had come and had dragged her out while she was reading constantly since 7 in the morning when she had got up'.. she was a b.arch student ' of course she had works and assignments to complete' projects to do' notes to write and prepare for the exam'..

I was looking at her laughing with her two devranis'. She called them bhabi'. And had prohibited to call her bhabi instead geet or mahi'. For that was whaat she preferred to be called' and when she was asked why??? She said she was too small to be called bhabi and she had been calling them bhabi and to my brother bhai' since the day she had joined the collage and had become vikram's friend'.

Meera and avni' for me they weren't my bhabi.. no never' for me they were my younger sisters' whom I had always missed' I had always wanted a younger sister whom I could spoil'. And I had got a younger sister in them and I have spoiled them indeed'. As if they weren't already by my whole family'. In khurana family bahu's had more hand then beta's' not that I minded'. And to our luck all the bahu's were totally innocent and down to earth and were very good at heart.. and biwi had proved me right because she belonged to their category'.

If I had pampered and spoiled meera and avni' sameer and dev took their revenge out on me' and how??? By spoiling biwi'. Not that she got spoiled'. But they became her big brother' I knew about her faily' own family' and I knew that my family would give her all the love that she had missed but I also knew that they would always come after her massi .. amusa and her vansh bhai'

I remember once meera had asked me '

Bhai.. don't you feel alone in the big room of yours????

Avni ' right bhai' don't you think that you need someone beside you to fill the space in your heart' someone's face in that second pillow???

Meera ' means some one who is only yours'. Haan .. haan?????

Avni ' why don't you find a girl and then get married'. All our relatives are eating our head'..

Maan ' and you both don't want me to get married to one of your sisters????

Meera ' never' they are so ' so'

Avni ' so mean'. Yah' mean .. selfish'. Yuuk'.. but you are so sweet'. So cute and we want some one like you to be your better half''

Maan ' girls' don't call me cute'. Maan singh khurana is anything but cute'.

And then the both got up ' and said' but you are very cute bhai'. And ran away laughing'..

They never knew what truly maan singh khurana was to the world' and I wont let them know'. They were hapy to see me friendly nda I would always want them to be happy' and about what they had said it was pushed back in my mind'..

But it came back to me all of a sudden the day I saw biwi in my house laughing in the kitchen just like today with my sisters'. And that day every thing that was complete looked incomplete.. I truly felt an emptiness beside me'.

One day I saw her in a saree ' lust was some thing I had not known till then' I had thought that I had cagedit and threw I some where away' but that day I felt some thing.. it was some thing both I wanted to protect her and to devour her'.

But now'. I iss her playfulness' her antics' her jokes' her every thing'..

I wish I could just do some thing to make her feel my feeling' but I know she needs time'. She is a child after all'

It was almost 7 in the morning and it was the last day because the next day geet and vikram would be going to their collage'. IIT ROORKEE'.

All had noticed that there was a strain in their friendship' and the reason no one knew'. But he had make it a target to get back his friend at any cost'.

As usual geet was sitting in the swing when she felt someone sitting beside her'. She looked to see the person she did not want to face sitting beside her'. She got up and started to walk when she realized that he was also walking with her'

And they started to walk around the mansion and were talking'. And falied to notice one pair of eyes that was following them intently'. And had cleanched his fist in anger'.
