Maan sat in his cabin tensed. Just then adi knocked on the cabin.
"yes adi" maan said coming out of his thoughts.
"sir what about the new secretary?" adi asked.
"what about her?" maan asked covering his curiousness.
"sir she came to join...should I ask her to report u" adi asked.
"hmm...tell her to come to my cabin I will assign her the work" maan said sternly...covering his happiness a lot.
"yes sir" adi left.
Maan's heart literally did a happy dance.
Then he heard a knock on the door.
"yes" maan saw geet walking in looking straight into his eyes. He can still see the anger in those eyes. She just stood before his table silently.
Maan stood up and went towards her "geet" tried to keep his hand on her shoulder but she stepped back saying "adi sir told that u will assign me the work...so what should I do sir"
Geet spoke sternly. "sir?" maan wondered.
"yes... sir" geet stressed the word sir intentionally.
"tum mujhe sir kehkar kyun bularahi ho?" maan screamed in anger.
"aap mere BOSS ho...to sir hi kahogi na" geet said calmly.
"geeet" maan stepped towards her grinding his teeth.
"SIR what should I do?" geet asked ignoring his anger.
Suddenly maan pulled her close and held her by shoulder "dare u call me sir again"...
Geet pushed him and snapped his hands "don't give me that angry looks...it should be me who should get angry"
Just then maan realized...oh no what did he do.inorder to say sorry to her and convince her'.here he made her more angry'.god now what'maan thought.
"geet plz listen" maan spoke calmly but stopped as geet raised her hand in mid again and asked him to stop.
"sir I m ur secretary here so u plz tell me what I should do" geet said coldly.
"but geet'." Maan tried again.
She glared at him angrily'.before anyone could say anything they heard a knock on the door.
Maan immediately went back to his seat and geet straightened herself.
"yes" maan said sternly and sasha came in.
"MK what should I say to the clients about the new project"
"don't u know it? Why are u asking me" maan answered rudely and geet released a sigh'."ahh back to the dust danav mode' she murmured which made both sasha and maan took look at her.
Even though sasha dint hear what she said but geet is sure that maan heard her becoz of the look he gave her.
Sasha gave her a disgusting look and turned back to maan saying "ok MK"
But she still stood there throwing glares at geet where as geet looked at all the directions except sasha'.she completely ignored her.
"anything else sasha?" maan asked her rudely still looking in his file.
"nothng MK" sasha said smiling sweetly as if maan saw thought geet.
"then get out" maan snapped at her which made geet to giggle.
Maan heard her giggle but dint look up and sasha glared at her angrily and left the cabin.
After she left geet quickly tried to walk out of the cabin but a strong grip on her wrist made her stop and she know who it was(well well not only u geet we all also know who it is'.ha ha)
She dint turn and stood there still. Maan slowly came to front "geet I know that u r coming for interview here just this morning that too when u urself told me" maan said as a matter of fact.
Geet dint speak but glared at him as if asking "but u know when I told u and still u dint tell me"
"I thought to tease u for sometime and then surprise u geet that's why I dint tell u then" maan said as if reading her thoughts.
Geet pouted thinking "then what about interview'..u listened to my whole interview"
"that becoz when u told me that u want to be independent I am so impressed by ur words and if u walk in the interview I know what questions will come as u r over qualified for this job and u want a part time''trust me geet I really wanted to know what answers u will give them'so I asked u to keep the phone on" maan said once again as if he read her mind.
Geet still is not convinced "is it becoz I m geet u gave me this job and agreed to my timings'that's ot fair'I don't like to take such helps'."
"I know geet u don't like to take such help but trust me geet its not me who selected u its adi and sasha and I swear I dint tell them that u r my gf" maan said.
Geet still dint speak but was convinced by his answers. Yet she dint show any change in her face and continued her anger but fake this time.
"geet plz maaf kardo na'..really sorry dear'plzzz" maan said holding his ears with a baby cute face.
Geet now is unable to fake anger any more and cant stop the smile that formed on her lips.
"uff finally the sherni smiled" maan sighed and pulled geet towards the chairs.
"abhi to baath karo" maan said smiling at her. he made her sit in the chair and went back to his seat.
"hmm" geet smiled.
"kya hmm? I want my sherni who are u?" maan smiled naughtily
"funny" geet smiled.
"waise mr.khurana I don't think I can work here" geet said looking seriously.
"kyun geet kya hua?" maan asked her worried.
Geet smiled inwardly looking at his face but tried to maintain the cold look "coz I don't think my bf will alot me any work and let me do it" geet chuckled.
"funny geet" maan said understanding her plait.
"aur nahi to kya maan its almost 1 hr I came in to ur cabin and u dint let me any work'.will u ever give me work? " geet smiled.
"so my secretary want to do work'.ok then I will a lot u work'.wait" maan said and took the receiver in his hands and called adi to his cabin.
Adi entered his cabin and saw geet sitting opposite to maan and smiling while maan is looking at her and smiling.
This is the first time he saw maan smiling looking at a girl'..GIRL''A GIRL'..hmm so surely she is someone really special to him''
"sir" adi spoke calmly.
"haan adi" maan looked up but geet's voice again caught his attention.
"maan ab nahi" geet said.
What!!!! Maan!!!! Did she just called him maan'..and he dint say anything'..am I dreaming or what'..adi pinched himself and closed his mouth and gulped his moan.
"kya ab nahi?" maan asked.
"not today'I will start tomorrow" geet said.
"kyun? Kya hua?" maan asked worriedly.
"nahi kuch nahi hua'.wo kya hai na my bf told me that he will take me out today so'.." geet smiled at him naughtily.
"so????" maan asked catching her hint.
"so'I should really make lot of effects and get ready for HIM'..u know I don't want to disappoint him" geet winked at him.
Adi's jaw dropped open. Did she just wink at MAAN SINGH KHURANA??????? And did he still smile at her?????
"hmm that's good for u'.." maan chuckled.
"to mein chalti hoon maan" geet stood up and left the cabin smiling.
Maan is still looking at the closed door of his cabin smiling lost in her aroma when adi coughed getting his attention.
"ahem ahem" adi coughed.
Maan snapped out of his thoughts and looked at adi.
"someone is really special" adi smirked at maan.
"ADI" maan shouted at him coming back to his MSK mode.
"oops I m afraid" adi smiled.
Maan sighed at him. He know adi is not speaking as his employee'..maan and adi are friends from his child hood. Adi's father worked in kc and was a loyal employee and as adi was intelligent he always won scholarships. By his scholarships he even studied in maan's school and college. They are of same class always and are best buddies. Truly to say adi is the only buddy of maan.
"adi plz yaar" maan sighed.
"maan!!!!...calling by first name huh!!" adi smiled at him.
Maan smiled at him.
"to kya chal raha hai yaar" adi came towards maan and kept his hand on his shoulder.
"she is a nice girl adi...nothing else" maan lied.
"nothing??? Acha? U want me to believe that" adi asked naughtily.
"okay adi what do u want to listen?" maan asked knowing he was caught by his buddy.
"what ever u want to say" adi smiled again.
"teekai to suno'..she is my gf" maan said finally.
"WHAT????" adi shouted at top of his voice but to their lucky the door of his cabin was closed and the walls are sound proof hence no one outside heard anything.
"adi kya hua" maan got up immediately seeing his friends shocked faced.
"man u never had a gf'.even in clg" adi said as a matter of fact.
"to?" maan asked confused.
"to??? To kya maan? Did u propose her? what did she say? Ofcourse no girl can ever say no to msk'.can we expect her tobe the future mrs.msk??? arey yaar yeh to batav how did u guys met? How she became ur gf?" adi showered his with continuous questions.
"arey adi yaar take a break''u r speaking like geet" maan said.
"uff geet even here" adi smiled.
"yaar I still dint propose her" maan said.
"what u dint still propose her? when will u?" adi surprised.
"adi u know me na'.this is not that easy for me'..even I was shocked when I asked her out'.she is a real sherni yaar'.i think I should take time" maan said looking at the door from where geet left before.
"truly yaar u r fallen in love very deeply" adi sighed.
"may be" maan said still looking at door.
"so''tonight a date with her'hmm?" adi smiled.
"haan" maan looked at him and gave him a smile.
"she is a special piece adi'.not like any of the girls I saw until now'.she is totally different'..she never cared about her looks'.no make up'so pure'..still she steals many hearts by her simple smile'.a natural beauty'..and her daring attitude'.and then her innocence like a child''when she pouts omg she is so cute yaar'..her naughtiness has no limits'and when angry'.uff'..mein to gaya'.." maan said looking lost.
Adi smiled at his description and said "u r head over heels in love dude'.hope u say it quickly"
Maan dint move still lost in his thoughts and adi literally jerked him "so sir u dint tell me why u called me in" adi said.
Maan smiled and went back to his seat "I called u so that u can assign geet her work but'.."
Adi cut him and said "she went away to get ready for her date'" adi smiled.
Maan smiled back and adi went out of the cabin to continue with his work. He is happy for his friend.
