I'm really really sorry for the huge delay and I'm so sorry to have kept you all waiting...
but I was really busy with my uni.. it's my first year so had to adjust with a lot of things..
but now I'm back to IF... and I'm hoping I would receive as much love as I have been receiving..

Part 12

The hug lasted for God knows how much time... Today they were one.. And they didn't want to part.. Call it their need because the last few days they had spend fighting with their feelings that had only ignited the fire in them making them ferocious and craving for the love.. The wind blew hard.. It was soft and soothing.. It seemed as if it was rejoicing the moment.. Celebrating the unison of these two souls.. It smiled.. Smiled seeing the love birds finally realising and confessing their long-lived love..

After what seemed like ages, they broke apart.. Geet had a reddish hue on her cheeks.. She was smiling and blushing with this sudden yet so meant-to-be unison of MAANEET... she touched her neck piece.. it was beautiful.. the neck piece had their united name which made it even more special.. She felt touched.. touched by the immense love that Maan harboured for her.. She couldn't believe her destiny.. her soul mate was here.. in front of her.. looking at her lovingly...
Maan looked at his angel lovingly.. she looked even more beautiful and pure with the blush on her face.. though he had imagined this day several times.. he had imagined her angel after the moment but he could never imagine this purity to such a beauty.. he was loving her lowered eyes.. eyes that had shyness in them.. he never had to look into her eyes to tell what emotion they had in them.. Maan could read his Geet even with his eyes closed..
Finally Maan decided to break the silence...

Maan: My Angel.. how did you like the place...??

Geet: Maan.. Angel..???

Maan: yes my dear... tum to meri angel ho na.. wo pari jisne meri zindagi me rangon ki bauchar kar di.. jisne mera har ek pal khoobsurat bana diya.. jisne mere dil ki dhadkanon ko badha diya.. jisne meri zindagi me aakar mujhe duniya ki har ek khushi de di.. haan Geet.. you are all I ever wanted in my life.. Geet.. tum mere dil ka wo Geet ho jise maine hamesha apne dil me basake rakha.. mai tumhe hamesha mehsoos karta tha.. hamesha tumhare baare me sochta tha.. par sach Geet.. maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki jab mera wo ehsaas mere samne aaega to wo itna khoobsurat hoga.. aisi khoobsurti jise mai lafzon me kabhi bayan na kar paunga.. haan Angel.. tum meri zindagi ka wo khoobsoorat taufa ho jiske baad mai uparwale se bas ek hi cheez maang sakta hun.. aur wo ye hogi ki mai hamesha tumhari is khoobsurti ko barkarar rakh paaun.. tumhari is muskurahat ko hamesha aise hi tumhare honthon par basa kar rakh paun.. tumhe duniya ki har ek khushi de sakun.. bas aur kuch nahi maangna hai ab mujhe.. tumhi meri zindagi ho Geet.. tum ho to mujhe aur kisi cheez ki khwahish nahi hai...

Geet stood their dumbfound.. how could someone love her so much.. wo bas yehi soch rahi thi ki usne aisa kya kia tha ki use Maan jaisa insaan mila... Tears started flowing out of her eyes.. she just kept looking into Maan's eyes.. those eyes kept her captivated.. captivated in the love that shone bright in them.. his eyes reflected pure love for her.. Tears non stop flowed from her eyes...

Maan: Angel.. jaanta hun ye aansu khushi ke hi hain.. par phir bhi.. agar khushi me tum mujhe apni pyari si muskurahat de dogi to mujhe zada khushi hogi.. 😊

Geet smiled through her tears listening to his statement... his words, his gestures.. infact everything about him just filled her heart.. She looked up and thanked Babaji for bringing Maan in her life.. Her life suddenly felt completed.. She couldn't express her happiness in words.. out of necessity to express.. She just hugged Maan.. and all she could utter was.. I LOVE YOU MAAN.. I LOVE YOU...!!!

Maan smiled.. he knew she was finding it difficult to express herself...
He hugged her back and made her calm down...
After sometime.. They broke apart from the hug...

Maan: to Geet ... tumhe mera ye surprise kaisa laga...?? Shocking tha na..?? [:p]

Geet: Shocking to pata nahi.. par overwhelming zaroor tha... mujhe ye to pata tha ki Maan Singh Khurana dil ka bohot acha hai par itna romantic bhi ye, ye aaj pata laga... 😉

Maan: abhi to shuruwat hai Miss Geet Handa.. dheere dheere aap Maan Singh Khurana ko ache se jaan jaengi...

Both of them laughed.. Geet kept her head on Maan's shoulders and relaxed herself.. Everything happened so suddenly.. She was finding it difficult to handle all the happiness and love that was being showered on her... Maan moved his fingers through her hair.. he knew all this sudden action in their life has left her restless... he knew it was difficult for her cope up.. and now he had to be with her.. make her feel special.. and love her..

Maan held her chin and make her look up.. Geet looked at him with her shy eyes still shying down every now and then.. She was still blushing..
Maan smiled.. aww.. she looked sooo cute...

Maan: haaeee... Angel.. agar tum aise hi sharmaati rahi to mai to yahin par behosh ho jaunga.. tumhari ye jhuki hui nigahein.. haaeee... mai to bas fida hi ho gaya...

Geet blushed even more...

Maan: aaaeee haaaeee... ye tumhare gaalon ka gulabi rang... aise karogi to mai to yahin par shaadi bhi kar lunga... 😉

Geet hit Maan's chest...

Geet: Maan.. bas bhi karo yaar... kitna chidhaoge... aise karoge na to mai to apna mu tumhare seene me chupa lungi...

Maan: to yehi to mai chahta hun meri jaan... 😉

Geet blushed...

Geet: bas karo Maan.. please...

Maan: acha thik hai... wo udhar lake me dekho... wo lotus kitne pretty lag rahe haina.. pata hai Geet.. mai na aksar yahan aaya karta hun.. ek baar pata hai i was going to Lonavla for some work to raaste me ye place discover kia.. i found it so peaceful and serene ki mera jab bhi aankhen band karke nature ke kareeb jaane ka dil karta mai hamesha yahan chala aata tha.. pata hai mai jab bhi yahan aake apni aankhen band karke baithta tha tab bhi mai hamesha tumhe mehsoos kia karta tha.. in hawaon me... ye hawaen hamesha mujhe tumhare hone ke ishaare karti hain...

Geet: haan Maan... ye jagah sach much bohot hi serene hai... its so peaceful, away from the hulchul of the main city... pata hai Maan... maine bhi hamesha tumhe hawaon me mehsoos kia hai.. itne dino se ye hawaen mujhe tumhare hone ka ishaara de rahi thin bas mai hi in ishaaron ko jhutla rahi thi.. soch rahi thi ki tum hi wo kaise ho sakte ho... par aaj samajh aaya Maan.. ki hum pyaar ko kabhi jhutla hi nahi sakte.. pyaar samne aane ka raasta khud hi dhundh leta hai.. mai bohot khushnaseeb hun Maan ki mujhe tum mile.. par pata nahi agar tum apne dil ki baat nahi kehte to mai kabhi apne jazbaaton ka izhar kar paati ya nahi.. I am truly lucky to have you Maan.. 😊

Maan: and I'm lucky to have my dear Angel... 😊

They sat their in each others arms looking at the purity and serenity of the environment.. they enjoyed the peace of the nature together.. their togetherness only made their moment more peaceful and full of joy...

After an hour or so.. Maan found Geet sleeping peacefully in his arms.. he smiled... she looked even more beautiful sleeping like this.. Maan looked at his watch and decided to wake up Geet...

Maan: Geet.. jaan... utho.. let's have our dinner.. kafi late ho gaya hai phir tumhe ghar bhi jana hoga...

Geet got up lazily..

Geet: nah.. mujhe nahi jana ghar.. mai to yahin achi hun.. tumhari baahon me..

Maan: zaroor Geet.. ek din mai tumhe puri tarah se apna bana lunga aur phir tum zindagi bhar meri baahon me rehna..

Geet blushed at his words... She sat straight...

Maan: to karen dinner???

Geet: haan.. let's get the dinner from the car...

They quickly got the food from the car and unpacked it..
Geet was going to eat when Maan held her hand..

Maan: ahan.. wait Geet.. aaj apni Angel ko khane ka pehle niwala mai khilaunga... 😊

Geet opened her mouth and Maan gave the bite to her...

Geet: Maan ... pehla niwala hi kyu.. poora khana hi khila do na.. waise bhi mujhe khud se khana badi mehnat ka kaam lagta hai... 😆

Maan: acha ji.. thik hai.. mai to apni Angel ko zindagi bhar aise hi khila sakta hun..

And he gave her another bite...
Maan was going to give her the third bite when Geet held his hand and shoved the bite in his mouth..

Geet: Mr. Maan Singh Khurana.. khud ko bhi to khilao.. phir na kehna ki Geet ne mujhe khane nahi dia...

Maan laughed...

Maan: haan ji jahanpana.. aapka hukum sar aankhon pe...

Both had their food laughing and romancing ... finally their dinner was over...

Maan: Geet... ghar chalen??

Geet: tumhe badi jaldi ho rahi hai mujhe ghar chodne ki.. ji nahi.. mujhe nahi jaana.. mujhe yahin rehna hai tumhare sath.. (pouting)

Maan smiled at her innocence...

Maan: thik hai.. but sirf half an hour... phir I'll drop you home kyuki kafi late ho gaya hai.. thik hai??

Geet: thik hai... 😊

Both stayed their for another half an hour chatting and smiling... Finally it was time for them to leave.. Both sat in the car and drove off...
Geet switched on the radio..

Mann yeh sahib ji
Jane hai sab ji
Phir bhi banaye bahane

Geet looked shyly towards Maan.. her heartbeats suddenly increased...
Maan's heart started beating fast.. his face flushed..

Naina nawabi ji
Dekhe hai sab ji
Phir bhi na samjhe ishare

Geet lowered her eyes.. she smiled inwardly.. but couldn't gather the wits to look up to him..
Maan looked at Geet.. He could feel her smiling and blushing.. he too smiled...

Mann yeh sahib ji
Haan karta bahane
Naina nawabi ji
Na samjhe ishare

Dheere dheere
Naino ko dheere dheere
Jiya ko dheere dheere
Bhayo re saibo

Maan started singing along.. He looked towards Geet.. She was still looking down.. her chest was heaving up and down..

Maan held her hand...

Surkhiyan hai hawaon mein
Do dilon ke milne ki
Ha haan arziya hai nazaron mein
Lamha yeh tham jane ki

Geet looked up towards Maan...

O kaise hazuri ji
Yeh lab dikhaye

She glossified her lips with her tongue..

Chupi laga ke bhi
Gazab hai yeh dhaaye

and she smiled and looked down again...

Maan smiled and gave her flying kiss... Geet shyed...
After sometime.. when they entered the city.. Geet's phone rang...

Geet: hi Rimi..

Rimi: Geet... kahan hai tu... pata hai mai kitni pareshan ho gai thi.. tera phone bhi not reachable aa raha tha... audition ka result kya raha????

Geet: Rimi.. Rimi.. saans le pehle... I'm sorry yaar.. wo actually mai city se bahar gai thi to wahan network nahi hoga..

Rimi: wait wait wait... tu city se bahar kyu and kiske sath gai thi...??

Geet: Maan ke sath gai thi.. and ghar aake bataungi ki kyu gai thi...chal mai phone rakhti hun.. mai ghar aa hi rahi hun to tabhi baat karenge...

Rimi: acha thik hai.. chal mai tujhe teri date pe disturb nahi karungi...[:p] par ye to bata de audition ka kya hua??

Geet: Rimi.. bakwaas mat kar.. and mujhe audition me select kar lia...

Rimi: yipppeee...!!!!! ghar aa.. ab to hum celebrate karenge... and haan Maan ko bhi leti aana...

Geet: wo kyu aaega...???

Rimi: mai keh rahi hun islie.. leti aana bas.. chal bye...

Geet kept down her phone...

Maan: kya hua..?? Rimi pareshan ho gai thi...??

Geet: haan... maine keh dia hai use ki I'm with you... and haan she wants to celebrate my selection aur usne tumhe bhi bulaya hai.. to tumhe bhi chalna hoga...

Maan: to isme itna pareshan hone ki kya baat hai.. mai zarur chalunga.. 😊

Geet smiled...
Finally they reached Geet's place.. and both of them went inside...

Rimi: welcome home people... chalo I have a cake ready.. let's cut the cake... 😃

They went towards the dining table and suddenly Rimi noticed Geet's neckpiece..

Rimi: Geet.. ye neckpiece... ye tune kab lia..?? aaj subah to nahi tha.. and what is written on it.. (Rimi read it aloud) MAANEET...
OMG... Maan and Geet...

Rimi smiled wide... 😃

Rimi: yaar tum dono to bade chupe rustam nikle... itni jaldi pyar ka izhar bhi ho gaya.. kya baat hai... 😃 chalo.. this calls for a double celebration... cumon.. Maan and Geet.. cut the cake together...

Geet: Rimi...!!!!

Maan held Geet's hand... and smiled...
Geet looked at him and blushed...
Both cut the cake... They first fed Rimi together and then they fed each other...

Rimi: are waah.. mai to badi lucky hun... yahan couple hote hue bhi I got the first priority... 😉

Geet: Rimi... you're my sweetheart babes...

Rimi: aww.. love you yaar... I'm so happy for you... mujhe pata tha ki Maan hi tumhara wo soul mate hai... tu hi jhalli maanne ko tayyar nahi thi...

Geet: chal ab bas bhi kar Rimi...

Rimi: haan haan.. thik hai.. chalo mai to chali sone.. waise bhi Geet ne bada pareshan kar dia... you guys carry on your romance... 😉

Geet: RIMI...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rimi: 😆 chalo goodnight guys... 😉

Rimi went off to her room...

Maan: mujhe bhi nikalna chahie kafi raat ho gai hai..

Geet(sadly): hmm..

Maan: Angel.. please aise sad mat ho... aise sad hogi to I won't be able to go.. smile to de do..

Geet: 😊 goodnight Maan... thank you so much for coming in my life Maan..

Maan: you don't have to thank me Angel.. YOU brighten my life...

Geet: I love you Maan...

Maan: I love you too Geet..

Both of them hugged each other tightly.. feeling the heat of each other's body... radiating their love through their actions..
Finally.. out of neccessity of time and situation.. they broke their hug..

Maan(kissed Geet's hand): goodnight Angel..!! 😊

Geet(looked deeply into Maan's eyes): goodnight Maan..!!

Maan: door lock kar lo thik se and remember.. I love you and I'll miss you.. 😊

Geet: ab jao..

Maan smiled and went towards his car.. As soon as he was going to sit in his car.. Geet ran to him..

Geet(kissed Maan's cheek): I love you too Maan..!!

Maan(kissed back Geet's cheek): bye Geet.. take care...

Maan sat back in his car and drove off..

Geet came back and lay on her bed.. she smiled thinking about the day's events... her dream in the morning.. then the way Maan instilled confidence in her during the auditions.. then their so-called date(she laughed remembering the SO-CALLED date)... then how their choices matched.. then Maan's confession.. her realization... their moments.. it all seemed like a dream to her.. but no.. it wasn't a dream.. it was all reality.. she truly had a guy like Maan in her life who was her life now.. She smiled and slept off ready to enter her world of MAANEET DREAM...

Maan came back home all joyous and cheerful.. Today finally he had managed to win his angel all for himself.. his soul mate.. his life was finally with her.. he felt like he was on cloud seven... he was elated... he lay down on his bed thinking about His Geet..
Suddenly he got up and took out his diary..He wanted to vent out his flowing emotions..

I feel on cloud seven,
For my heart is now lighten,
You are mine now forever,
I will dissappoint you never.

Your smile means the world to me,
Coz I'm in love with you blindly,
Your shyness makes me smile wide,
It makes you seem like a new bride.

I love every moment with you,

He smiled to himself.. Today was the happiest day of his life.. He lay down hugging his diary and slipped off into the dreams of his ANGEL.

immensely beautiful n soulful description of d moment of deir unison...everything from deir need to be in each other's arm to nature celebrating wid dem was amazing...
luved d neck piece symbolising deir unison...
d way u wrote maan n geet's emotions at dat tym was amazing...great job dear...
maan's every word telling dat how she is his angel was mesmerising...geet's reaction to his confession was beautiful...
luved maan's dialogue asking her not to cry...
maaneet's convo dat followed was really sweet n cute...
awww i luved it d way maan n geet confessed dat they felt each other through winds...truly heart touching...
