Hey guys,
So sorry for the late update..and I am not very happy with this update but I had to update 2day since 2marow I will only be able to update SKG and that is it...I won't be able to come online for long 2marow at work😳
Chapter 32
Geet and Maan sat on the beach looking at the sunset..finally smiling after a long time...both held hands together feeling content..as if all their problems have vanished..they didn't care..as long as they have each other...Maan looked at Geet's hand that was resting besides him slightly touching...even though he accepted his love for her..he still doesn't know how to show it...this is all new to him...this relationship, this feelings he has for Geet, and his new found love...but he knew one thing..she is the right person for him..she is the one that he can spend the rest of his life with...he looks at her with happiness...
Geet turns around and looks at him with a sad smile and tears. Maan quickly wipes the tears away...
Maan: Whats wrong
Geet: Maan..mom..I don't know how she will react..I had promised her I will be away from your life and I broke my only promise I made her
Maan: Geet you didn't...what mom asked was selfish...how can she think that you have bad shadow on me on the house? I will make her understand
Geet: I don't know Maan...I can't face her...I don't know what she is going to say
Maan; Geet I am with you...you don't have to worry about anything...come lets go home...to our home..
Geet smiles and gets up..both walk silently on the beach..their clothes were now dried up...Maan walks and looks at their hands again..which was so close to each other..Geet looks at Maan and then follows his gaze..she smiles..slowly she brings her hand closer and closer him..she interlocks it with his hand..Maan looks at her...he tightens their grip as they walked in silence..enjoying these new feelings they have for one another...
Both arrive home...Geet stops outside of the house...looking at with tears and apprehension. Maan looks at her and gives her a reassuring look. He tugs on her hand...she smiles and nodes..both walk in...they saw everyone sitting in the living room looking at them with shock. Ronit smiles at them...he knew Maan would be successful in bringing Geet home where she belongs. Madhuri..walks up to them and looks at Geet with anger..
Madhuri: What are you doing back?
Maan: I brought her back mom...Geet is not at fault here
Madhuri: Do you know how much we faced because of her? How can you bring her back knowing that?
Maan: its not her fault mom..its that Pandayji's fault..how can you think Geet has bad shadow?
Madhuri: That's you talking? You used to stay away from her and all the girls...all of a sudden what happened?
Maan: That was my past self..not anymore..I love Geet...and she has as much rights in this house as you or anyone else living here for that matter...
Madhuri: Maan
Ronit (yells and stands behind Mahduri) ENOUGH! Maan is right...Geet is the elder bahu of this house and she has all the rights to come here whenever she wants
Madhuri: I don't consider her as my bahu (Geet looks at her with tears) she has no relation to this house anymore...she divorced Maan already..
Maan: I didn't sign the divorce papers...she is still considered my wife
Dadima; Madhuri what happened to you? Why are you blaming Geet?
Madhuri: blaming? I am just stating the facts...Dadima isn't it true that you got into your first accident AFTER she arrived? Maan got into accident when she was near him...
Dadima: Madhuri that has nothing to do with her...its just coincidences..
Ronit: yea..Geet will stay here..no matter what
Madhuri: Fine if she does then I am not...(everyone looks at her shocked) What is the point of me being here if no one listens to me...
Maan: No mom you don't have to go...its us that will be leaving...
Ronit: Maan what are you saying?
Maan; Maybe it will be better if me and Geet don't stay here
Dadima; Maan beta..(she was in tears now)
Maan; Am sorry Dadima...but I am not alone now...and I can't stay here if Geet is not accepted as the bahu of this house...
Dadima: I want to come too then...
Maan: No Dadima..please for me..you guys will stay here...(he looks at Geet and smiles) Lets go Geet..
Ronit: Wait...(he stands before them) I can't let you guys go like this...(he takes out the car keys) You might have decided to leave the house but everything is still yours..we have an spare apartment in this city...you guys go there...don't say no...I will be happy to know that at least you guys are safe...(he hugs Maan..)
Maan: Thanks papa...(he holds Geet hands and both leave...)

Both arrive at the apartment...it was dirty and messy..with cobwebs all around...no one ever came here ever since Ronit bought this two years ago...it was two story apartment, big enough for them...both held hands as they entered...both looked around the apartment with all the work that has to be done and sighed..Geet tucked her sari pallu in her waist and grabbed something to clean the cobwebs...
Maan looked at her with a smile..when Geet looked at him..he turned around...Geet smiled to herself as she cleaned all the cobwebs that she could reach...there was one spot in the corner that she couldn't reach..she tried jumping to catch the web but was unsuccessful..Maan came up and stood in front of her..he placed his hands on her waist as he lifted her off the ground...slowly Geet cleaned the corner..he gently placed her on her feet...both looked at each other...
Maan turned around not knowing what to do...Geet moved back as well...both feeling awkward on what to say or do...
Maan; Umm I will clean and move the furniture
Geet: Can we do it together?
Maan: umm okay
Geet cleaned the area underneath the furniture while Maan moved each furniture...they finished it off with cleaning the piece together..at one point their hands touched while cleaning..both looked at each other..and slowly removed the hand...after few hours...the bottom floor was properly cleaned...both stood at the back looking at the hard work..both of their stomach made noises...both laughed
Geet: I will make something
Maan: umm we don't have anything here...I am going to go buy some food...
Geet; hmm come back soon...I will set up the kitchen in the meantime...
Maan: okay...(As Maan was leaving..Geet stopped him...she stood in front of him and kissed his cheek...)
Geet; Come back soon...(She shied and walked away...Maan touched the area that Geet kissed while he walked...)
Maan walked on the road with a smile...he remembered the good times they had together, their fights..he wanted that same Geet back...he quickly bought the food from the stall and walked home..as he was walking it started to rain..he saw his apartment building close by...so he decided to run...when he rang the door bell Geet slowly opened the door to let him in...it was dark inside...he saw a table near the kitchen with candles...Geet slowly takes the bags to place on the kitchen table..
She then takes his hands and makes him sit on the couch while she cleaned his hair with her sari pallu...she sits in front of him to clean his face...Maan held her hand as she was cleaning..both looked at each other...he leans forward to kiss her but she gets up and runs away to the kitchen...he smiles and follows her..she was standing near the refrigerator with her hands behind her back as she looked down...
Maan stood in front of her and made her look up...she had tears in her eyes...she looks at Maan and hugs him...
Geet: All because of we you had to leave your family...
Maan (hugs her back) No Geet you shouldn't blame yourself...you watch..I know mom will come and get us both...she just needs time to think
Geet: I know but its not fair to you...you never lifted a finger before and now you are cleaning the house..Why did you bring me back?
Maan: Geet if you think I am regretting this then you are wrong..I love being here with you...with my chudail...(he smiles)
Geet (slightly punches him...) you are a baboon
Maan: so would this chudail love to have a dinner with this baboon?
Geet: Sure with my pleasure..(He wipes her tears and leads her to the table that Geet decorated)
Both ate in slience just looking at each other...after..Maan helped Geet clean the table and the dishes...both kept playing with their hands rather then cleaning the dishes..Geet puts her soapy hands on his face and runs away...Maan cleans his face and runs after her...he could hear her laughter as he attempted to find her...he saw her running upstairs...he quicky runs after her..he grabs her just when she landed on top of the stairs..he picks her up...
Geet; Maan put me down
Maan: no...you started it..
Geet: please Maan...okay am sorry
Maan: nope...now I have to do something...
he brings her back downstairs as upstairs still needed to be cleaned..he made her stand near the kitchen sink...he placed both his hands around her so that she can't escape..he pressed his body against her back..he opened the water tap and wets his fingers...he slowly brings his his hand above her face as the water drips...Geet closes her eyes...feeling the coldness of the water...he turns her around...and looks at her..she slowly opens her eyes...
"How did you like my revenge..."
Geet: Very sweet (Maan lightly kisses her lips...Geet wraps her arms around his neck both kissing each other with passion...after few minutes..both break for breath..)
Maan: Geet before we take our relationship to the next level..is it okay if we get to know each other?
Geet (smiles) Yes...I love you Maan
Maan (hugs her back): Me too...Geet...
