Part 16

Precap-

Maan- Ab tumhara leg kaisa hai????

Geet- ha...ha... ab th... thik hai... she stuttered...

Maan- kya hua??? Tumhe bhi Adi ka bhoot lag gaya...

Geet- kya??? She got confused...

Maan- Adi ko bhi aadat hai, kabhi kabhi stutter karne ki, when he is nervous or scared... but tumhe kya hua???

Geet, composed herself- nahi kuch nahi... she tried to divert her mind by changing the topic... vaise tum kyu nhi aaye the kal office????

Maan- tum nhi aayi thi naa...

Geet was shocked to listen to his answer...

Maan smirked looking at Geet's shocked face... He cleared his throat to bring her back from her shock...

Maan- Geet, ab kya hua??? Aise kyu dekh rahi ho????

Geet- Tumne abhi kya kaha???

Maan- Geet, ab kya hua??? Aise kyu dekh rahi ho????

Geet- nahi nahi, ye nahi isse pehele, jab mene tumhe pucha ki tum kal office kyu nahi aaye the...

Maan, hiding his smile- tum nahi aayi thi naa, to kaam kaha ho raha hai yaha... projects ke liye mujhe budget ready karna tha, but tum to thi nahi na... to I had to wait, n koi important meeting nahi thi, to socha aaram kar lu... vaise tumhe kya laga??? Maan raised his eyebrow looking at Geet...

Geet felt relieved listening to Maan...Listening to his next question, she stiffened again...

Geet- haa... woh, me...uummm... kuch nahi, bas aise hi pucha...

Maan was laughing inwardly... He could help it, seeing her face... Maan, tu ye kya kar raha hai... use dosti to hone de thik se... pehele hi sab kuch risky kar raha hai... agar aise darayega to vo to jaldi bhaag jaegi... fir bethe rehna... His heart was talking to him... So, he decied to break out his laughter to make her comfortable...

Maan- hahahaha... Tumne apna chehera dekha hai...

Geet- what do you mean??? Roz dekhti hu...

Maan- nahi nahi, mera vo matlab nahi tha...

Geet- to kya matlab tha ha...??? Geet went towards his chair, limping...

Maan's laughter was stuck in his throat... He couldn't comprehend with Geet's behaviour... He knew that she was also kidding, but the way she was approaching him was very different, like he had called in the trouble...

Geet- bolo, kya matlab tha tumhara, Maan... Geet leaned forward placing her hands on the sides of Maan's comfortable chair... Maan tried to lean back as much as he could, as much as he could help himself from controlling his inner wishes to get close to her...

Geet went a little further, if it was possible, and raised the other hand which was free of crutches, to Maan's cheek and restes it on his cheeks... Maan body went numb for a while, chills ran throught him... She further raised the same hand from his cheeks and slided her 1st finger from his forhead, making way from the side of his forhead through his cheeks and ending it at the jawline... Maan had long closed his eyes feeling a different sensation running throught him... He felt heaven in this single touch of hers... Even Geet was lost in what she was doing... She only had planned to do the same thing he did to her, but she didn't know, what went into her to do this thing further n touching him like this, just like seducing him... maybe this happened becoz she was longing to touch him... ohh no no, what has gotten into her... Geet control, kya kar rahi hai... Ache se dosti to karle... Itni kya ghai hai tujhe, said her heart...

Her thoughts brought her back to reality and she realised that she had gone too far... She stood up straight and saw him, his eyes closed... She observed his serene face for a moment; ther was so much peace and tranquillity in it... She also saw some other emotions on his face which were also in her mind... She slightly smiled and without making any noise, she went and sat on her chair to see his reaction and giggled a little...

Maan was totally lost in her touch... The slight and kind of sensual tough of hers had evoked all the hidden emotions within him... his doubt of him just liking her vanished and now he was sure that he loved her a lot... That brought a slight smile on his face... But now his face had turned cold, deprived of the warmth of her hand and also her body around him, and he heard a giggle which made him to open his eyes... He first saw straight... As his chair was tilted to 1 side, he dint see Geet in front of him... He again heard her giggle, and turned to see her sitting on the chair in front of him...

Geet was trying hard not to laugh at his situation... Actually she was blushing at her doings, but to hide it and also to cover the awkward silence, she laughed out loud... Maan felt like he was in heaven and an angel was sitting in front of him ang laughing wholeheartedly... Her laugh was like music to Maan's ears... He could listen to her laughter all his life... Geet's voice broke his chain of thoughts...

Geet- ab tumne apna chehera dekha hai... aise lag raha hai tumhare saamne koi darawni cheez aa gayi ho...

Maan- haa, vo to aayi thi...

Geet- Kya kaha???

She turned away faking anger... Maan would have hugged her right then... Her childish behaviour was so sweet... He kept quiet... Geet turned and looked at him... And both started laughing loudly... As if they have cracked the best joke ever... Both were laughing like hell, bas zameen pe girna baaki reh gaya tha... the whole office was amazed with sounds of laughter coming out of Maan's cabin... They knew Maan used to smile, but laughter was a rare thing n this loud was the rarest thing... They controlled themselves...

Maan- what was that...???

Geet- kyu, mazak sirf tumhe hi karna aata hai kya.!!! She winked at him...

Maan was totally floored... He didn't know this side of Geet...

Maan- ma'm, kya aap vohi Geet ho, jinke saath humne contract sign kiya hai... I think you left her behind somewhere...

Geet- why sir, you don't like this Geet... if u r so desperate to meet that boring Geet, then i can call her too...

Maan- oh,no no no no... I like this one more... Geet, aise hi raha karo...bohot achi lagti ho... Your smile is very sweet...

It was Geet's turn to be floored by Maan's comments... She turned crimson red... Maan was enjoying his time...

But kisi na kisi ko to kabab me haddi banna hi hai na...

There was a knock on the cabin door...

TJ- may I come in guys... What is happening over here???? Itni zyaada hassi to mene Geet ki kabhi nahi suni... Maan kya kiya mere dost ko...

Maan or Geet were in no mood to tell anyone what a moment they shared... So Geet was the one to cut into the conversation and changed the topic to business...

Geet- vo chod, tu bata kuch khaas chal raha hai kya office me, that needs my attention...???? Geet, in a fraction of second changed to what she was earlier, a total professional businesswoman... Maan was amazed with her immediate shift to her original self... When its work, Geet Handa is at her best, just like Maan Singh Khurana...

TJ- Kuch khaas nahi re... bas I got this files tht needed to be checked and signed... Check to ye ho chuke hai, they just need your signatures...

Geet- ohh ok, chal mere cabin me chalte hai... Sorry that you had to wait... She turned to Maan... Sir,ahh, i mean Maan, will join you later... Aaj se kaam start kar dena chahiye mujhe... Already 3 din backlog ho gaya hai... I'll call you if I need any help...

Maan- ok fine... carry on... I m here only... *** is the intercom number to reach me... or u can just pull the blind folds, I m just becides you...

Geet- ohh, my cabin is just besides you... great... thnkx a lot...

Geet proceeded to her cabin with TJ, discussing about the work in G & K Associates...

Geet entered her cabin to see it neatly arranged for her... The blind folds were open, and Maan had his eyes on Geet... She had already got back to work... She was intensely discussing something with TJ... Maan also got serious and turned to his work nahi to use hi dekhta rahega... Geet very well knew that Maan was looking at her, but she remained unaffected as Maan would not go back to his work... And later both of them lost themselves in their work...
