PART 14

Both cut the call... Both were upset that they wont meet each other tomorrow... Both were trying to sleep now, but neither of the two was able to... Both were lost in their thoughts of each other, analysing their situation (uff, business minds.. Dil ki situations ko bhi analyse karenge)... Geet was fighting with what is she going to do, how was she going to tell Maan, rather how will she convince him that her love is her own and not due to his memories; whereas Maan was fighting with his feelings itself, he doesn't even know what he feels for her... poor two souls had lost their sleep in the thoughts of each other, oblivious to the fact that what the morning holds for them... They both fell asleep with very difficulty at the wee hours of the morning...

Next morning,

Both were not ready to get up from their beds... why would they??? They had slept so late, and also they had no reason to get up early... Reason??? It was ok if I said this for Geet, she was not going anywhere, so that would not be a problem... but Maan..!!!! Usse to office jaana hai na... So he should get up...usne to aaj apni regular exercise bhi miss kar di...Maan, utho office nahi jaana kya???

But Maan was feeling lazy today... He was not willing to go to office today... THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA who never gets bored of his lovely files and adorable meetings, doesn't want to go to office today...this must be in the history of Khurana Constructions since the time he has started managing it... He went to his room's window, opened the curtains and the French windows to let the rays in his room and also get some fresh air...The cool breeze from the sea in front of his room and the sunrays falling on him made him close his eyes and feel the seren beauty of nature and mixture of cold and hot... He heard some song being played in the room adjacent to his... It was Annie's room...

Maan came out of his room going towards Annie's room... He knocked on the door... Annie opened the door with a wide grin on her face... Maan smiled looking at Annie's grinning face... She had played the song on her music system... She let him enter in and asked for a dance with him on the ongoing song...

Both were ball dancing a bit fast... Maan was twisting and twirling Annie with the beats of the music... They were both enjoying and laughing out loud... Maan left Annie then and sat on the bed looking at her very sweet and innocent dance... The song was talking on his condition... His heart has not been his ever since Geet has entered his office...yes, office, how strange...!!! his love story has also started at his office only... his not knowing what he is feeling for her... He too has shaq on his heart if he is in love or not... only God knows what he feels... He smiles at his own thought.. he, THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA, being in love, he couldn't believe himself that he could ever fall for any girl...

Annie was still dancing, oblivious to the thoughts, the song was brining in Maan's mind... He wasn't sure if Geet was aware of what he feels... Does she too feels the same for him... He wanted to hide her in his heart, so tht no one sees her and neither she falls for someone else nor any one else falls for her... He was laughing at his own thoughts... He and bhola and masoom, his Dil is a shaitan and is playing games with himself... He was contradicting the song... But still he couldn't think anything good or feel anything good if she wasn't around him... God, its being just few days they have started knowing each other and such a strong attraction, he never knew ever existed in him... He looked at Annie with a smile on his face to see her happy, suddenly he saw Geet's face... Geet took his hand and told him to dance with her... How could he ever deny her... He would do anything for her... He just closed his eyes to feel her, n then her laughter replaced Annie's... He snapped open his eyes and realised that it was Annie... Oh God, what has happened to him... He will surely go mad...

Maan was in total trance, thinking about his condition... He wanted to hold her hand and wander in the land of his dreams like they had no destination to stop... Love was the only destination they will hault at... They will keep on walking till find their destination which was still very far to be seen... He wanted to ask someone who was in love, if this was the condition which tells that he is in love... But he was still not sure, if it was love... He feared, if these feelings may hamper his new friendship with her which has still not strenghten... He wants to progress slow in this matter... Already he is not good at displaying love to everyone, it's just in front of DJ, Annie and his friends... But, the relation he wanted with Geet has much more meaning... So he has to first make good friendship with her... Their Love would be based on Friendship... So he has decided to be good friends with her and gain her trust... But Maan, not in his dreams would have thought how difficult it was for Geet to come to terms with her mind asto how she was going to tell him, what has happened to her...

Annie saw the time and realised Bhai was late for office...

Annie- Bhai, aap abhi bhi yahi hai... office nahi jaana hai kya???

Maan- nahi Annie, aaj mood nahi hai office jaaneka...

For sometime there was total silence... Maan looked at Annie, why didn't say anything... She was standing like a statue as if she had seen or heard the most impossible thing... Maan kept his hand on her shoulder to bring her out of the statue mode... She jumped with his touch...

Maan- Annie, kya hua???

Annie, frantically looked at Maan... She checked his forehead and neck to see if he had fever... She also held his pulse nerve in his hand to check the neat rate... Everything was fine... She yelled at the top of her voice...

Annie- DJ...

Maan had to keep his hands onn his ears to stop the noice from hurting his ears... Annie ran out of her room towards DJ, still screaming for her... Maan followed her... What is wrong with this girl...?? Maan was confused... Annie stood in front of DJ...

Annie- Dj, plzz check me if I have got fever... I want to go to an ENT specialist to check if I can hear properly... I think ther is something wrong with me...

DJ, totally confused now- Annie, stop panicking and tell me what happened??? Why are you screaming... Pura ghar sir pe utha rakha hai...

Till that time, even Maan reached to both of them...

Annie saw him coming and said- Tell me DJ that bro is not here... Tell me, I m hallucinating...

DJ looked at Maan... She could see him standing in front of her... Well still in bed clothes... But he was very much here, so why is Annie thinking that she is hallucinating...

DJ- Annie, Maan yahi hai... Tumhe koi vehem nahi hua hai... Kya hua tumhe??? Tum aise kyu behave kar rahi ho...

Annie- He just told me that he is in no mood to go to the office... I mean, Bhai is in no mood to go to office... i mean office...

DJ now was equally shocked... She looked at Annie and then towards Maan... She closed her eyes for a moment and opened it...Both of them were still here... Even she checked Maan if he was all right...Seeing him fine, she checked herself, if she was fine...

Maan was now totally pissed off with the behaviour of both the ladies...

Maan- What.!!! Can't I take a leave from office???? He got angry...

DJ and Annie looked at each other and burst out laughing as if he cracked a very hilarious joke... Maan was now totally out of his wits... These ladies will drive him crazy one day... He was about to walk off, but DJ and Annie controlled themselves seeing him angry... DJ stopped him...

DJ- acha sorry Maan...AAp bhi chutti le sakte hai bilkul, hum kaha manaa kar rahe hai... DJ and Annie were continuously giggling which was irritating Maan...

Maan- tum dono ki problem kya hai... kabhi chutti nahi leta to kehete ho, ki humare liye time nahi hai... aur aaj le raha hu to hass rahe ho vo bhi mere muh pe...

DJ- Maan, are you sure, tumne chutti humare liye li hai???

Maan, looking here and there- ha, haan toh...nahi le sakta kya... aap chahti hai to me office chala jaata hu... Meri to iss ghar me kisiko kadar hi nahi hai... (Maan, emotional atyachar doesn't suit u...lol)

DJ now controlled herself- Ok Maan, to aaj jo aapne HUMARE liye chutti li hai, to chalo kahi ghoom aate hai...Movie jaate hai, shopping karte hai...

Maan (self think) - oh no, ye me kaha fass gaya... Ab inhe naa bhi to nahi keh sakta...

DJ, as if listwning to Maan's ST- acha thik hai rehene do... hum to mazak kar rahe the... vaise bhi Annie ko aaj college jaana hai... Aur meri club me meeting hai... Tum aaraam karlo... peheli baar kisike kahe bine tumne chutti li hai, to thoda apne khud ke saath waqt bitao... (DJ was now having some doubts of why he dint want to go to office...)

DJ self thought, aisa kon nahi hai office me jinke vajahse inhe office me mann nahi lagega... kuch dino baad mujhe office me ek round deni chahiye, Maan ko surprise kind of aur dekhti hu kya naya hai office me, yaa phir kon naya hai office me... She smiled a wicked smile to herself...

Both of them left for their respective things... Maan was now left aloneat home so that he could think what he was now going to to further...

On the other hand, Geet got up, had her breakfast with Rano and Pinky... Later Pinky and Rano too left for their respective works, leaving behind Geet and her thoughts...

Geet had finally come to a conclusion that, as of now she won't tell anything to Maan... She would first build their friendship properly, gain his trust and then before she tells him about her feelings she will tell him about the memory stuff... Between all this, she will keep on giving him hints of his past from time to time... So she won't be left to bombard this thing on him and leave him shattered... She will first show her love to him that is just hers and no one else's... But she has to bdo to all this tactfully... The bitter truth of his life will be the last thing she will tell him if he not at all believes her on what she was saying... She has to do this in this way or else Maan will think that she stalked his life... And later the decision would be his, if he wants to continue the relationship or not... She knew that it would be difficult then to forget about each other... But she will never force it on him... And for sure, she will never use his memories to bind him to this relation... It will be his decision solely... She also decided that she would no more feel guilty of this thing becoz it was not her fault that she had got his memories... She would instead take it in a positive way... She would try to bring back some good memories of his to make him happy... Others things ace be handled later as they come...

Both, clear with their thoughts and decisions made, will now start to mend their relation but both were oblivious that both had the same thoughts in their mind... now will be the new beginning of their relation, their BLOOD RELATION...
