It was almost noon and Maan was nowhere near leaving. He would not let her get out of the bedā¦even if she changed sides, he'd go running to her asking if she was okay. She rolled her eyesā¦he was being too much but somewhere she was loving the whole feel of being cared so much! But oopsā¦she remembered it was Saturday! She had her caf to attend and with Maan around, it was impossible to move a finger! She had completely forgotten about the disc or what happened after she was drunk!
She was so lost in his "andaaz" of showing his concern. But 1st things 1st! she was feeling so much better now and he needs to go so that she could enjoy herself in the caf. He was letting her talk either and she was hell bored!
"Maanā¦"
"umm geetā¦kuch chahiye tummhe?"
"umm nahiā¦but aapā¦aapā¦kaafi thake hue lag rahe hainā¦"
"no am perfectly fine geetā¦you sleep ok!"

Oh god..she has to reach there by 4 and it was already half past 12ā¦he has to go./ she was losing her patienceā¦..wo to jaane ka naam bhi nahi le rahe!!! And finally she just blurted out, " Please GO!!!!"
He arched his brow and looked at her suspiciously!
"is there something in your mind geet?"
Oopsā¦she was ruining her own plans! She immediately plastered a wide smile on her face, " naā¦..nahi toā¦whats in my mind Maan???" she asked innocently.

" then why are you hell bent on kicking me out of your house?"
"no am not kicking you out Maan.." she said like a baby!!!
He leaned over her putting both his hands on her side, thereby trapping her! Oh NOOOā¦she was having that weird sensation again! She stopped breathing for a while and closed her eyes tight! He smiled ta her antics and leaned even closer.
"what if you start crying after I left dear prez?" he whispered in her ears sending shivers down her spine! But she realized he was teasing herā¦.she puffed up her cheeks as alwaysā¦since childhood, opened her eyes and pushed him away!!!!

"yeah yeahā¦I can see that" it was more of a taunt. She twisted her lips and got off the bed!
"Maan..Go Home! I have a lot to do!"
"you are not doing anythingā¦just lie down geet!"

He didn't like thatā¦somewhere a bit sad that she was not liking him taking care of her! of course he wouldn't admit that he was being over protective! But wellā¦he is MSK remember!!!
He held her hand and pulled her to him. She wasn't ready for this sudden jerk and fell back. her back hit his broad chest and he twisted her hand!
"what did you just say?" he was sounding angry!
"ouch Maanā¦leave..it hurts!"
"so me being here is a pain to you is it?"
"ahhā¦" she tried to free her hand but he twisted it harder.
"ok fineā¦if that's the caseā¦am leaving. But id something happens to you geetā¦..remember I won't forgive you ever!"
He pushed her away and started walking towards the door. He was mad at herā¦yaar bhalai ka zamaana hi nahi raha!
She felt guiltyā¦a bitā¦a tiny mini bit but she did feel bad for saying something rude when he cared for her so much. Just when he was about to step our, she ran and held his hand.
"Maanā¦am sorryā¦I didn't mean to hurt you.."
"just leave my hand geet"
"pehle say you are not mad at me!!!" she said it ever so cutely that made him smileā¦but but butā¦.it was pay back time. He smirked!
"geet..let go of me!!!" he was stern.
She held his hand tighter, "Please Maanā¦am sorry naā¦iā¦iā¦am actually very thankful to you for taking care of me!!! iā¦mein to bas aise hi mazak kar rahi thi"
How could he not melt at her words?? If it was anyone elseā¦he wouldn't even bother to look back at him/her! but with herā¦things are always different.
He turned around in a jerk and held her by her hair pulling her closer. His eyesā¦they showed his angerā¦but she could still see that soft corner too. He held her hair at the back of her head tightly at the roots.
"aahh.." she winced in pain.
"dare you challenge me geetā¦Toot jaogi!"
"Maan pleaseā¦" she was feeling the pain as his finger dug into her scalp, "ā¦I am sorry!"
"maaf kiya geetā¦but remember one thingā¦challenging me won't be easy!"
He bent forward and placed a kiss on her forehead still holding her hair tightly. Her eyes filled up with tears. He immediately let her go and walked away, " dare you do anything stupid and I'll kill you! You better rest. Will call ya!"
She stood there like a statueā¦unable to understand what was he actually trying to showā¦his gussa?? His concern??? She was hell confused at her own reaction to himā¦how she just couldn't stay back without saying him a sorry for being rude! Keeping in mind the evil prez that she isā¦she wouldn't ever say anyone sorry like thisā¦for a stupid thing!!!
She came to her senses when she heard her cat meowing! She slowly went back to her bed and lied downā¦. Turning and twisting. She thought about last nightā¦what had actually happened? She couldn't remember. The only thing she remembered was Maan around herā¦no one else!!!
Maanā¦ how weird he is! She lifted 90 degrees and lied back on bed, holding him up in the air.
"meowā¦" she meowed cutely.
"tumne dekhaā¦he is so weird na!!!"

She made a cute face, brought him close and kissed his forehead! And he blushed! She made him lie beside her and turned to face him caressing his back.
"pata hianā¦he had helped me so many times before tooā¦he is actually nice bas thoda akdoo hainā¦wants people to work under him!!! Dusht daanav!!!"
"meowwwā¦" 90degrees was hell bored. Her talks were so Maan-ish!!! She kept on talking and talking and talking till both fell asleep!
Geet woke up around 4 pm feeling much better. She had some bread that Maan had left for her when her eyes fell on the clock!!!...ohh NOā¦she was Late!!!!
She scurried through her wardrobe looking for her salwar kameez when her eyes fell on a small bok kept in a corner. She took it out and opened it wondering what was in it!!! And there it wasā¦.the same music box that her MK had gifted her long long long ago!!!! She had kept it in the darkest corner of her cupboard since the day she had come back to londonā¦ā¦never to open again!
Tears welled up in her eyes as she took out the pendant and played the music. It brought all her sweet memories backā¦..though everything appeared hazyā¦faded!!!! But then Maan and her new friends flashed in her mindā¦and she immediately closed the music box!!!
"My past has no relation with the presentā¦" she kept the music box back in that darkest corner because she knew wellā¦.the more she looks at itā¦the more she'd get hurt!!! The hell would be back haunting!!! She took a deep breath!!!
"I close the book of my past Once and For All!!! And todayā¦I am Geetā¦..just Geet!!!!"
She immediately got ready and left for her caf, already smiling thinking anout Maan and the two little angelsā¦raj and Nini!!!

Maan reached home in the afternoon lost in his thoughts!!! He had his lunch half heatedlyā¦.but that vulnerable geet was making him restless!!! Why was she crying? Even on the day they met for the '1st time in the rainā¦.he just couldn't miss those pair of eyes that had so much pain in themā¦ā¦the council room incidentā¦.her being so over-protective about girlsā¦..disliking the boysā¦.her split personalitiesā¦..her criesā¦her fearsā¦he had no idea about them!!! Why was she in so much pain? He fell on his bedā¦.today he actually realized how little he knew about her!!! That irritated him to the core!!! And the way she cried this morningā¦that just ripped his soul apart!!! Was she unwell??? What was bothering her??? is something wrong with her??? did something bad happen with her??? how will he ever know his answers when he knows nothing of her!!!!
He can't see her cry like that all the timeā¦there must be something!!! And he needs to find that out!!!! From day 1 he had admitted one thingā¦that smile on her lips belonged thereā¦ā¦it was never meant to vanish!!!! And he would do anything to get that smile back!!!!
"I'll find out everything about hrā¦if I ask you directly..you won't answer me geetā¦at least I know you that much!!!! But I need to find out everything about youā¦and even it means opening up your pastā¦then be it!!!! I'll find out everything!!!!"
He knew not when he slept off. And look at the conspiracy of natureā¦.she wants to close the book of her past and he wants to open it now!!! Wonder what lies aheadā¦..
