Part -25/A

The evening was really beautiful with the blushing sky.. The birds were already settled back in their nest. The nature was all set to rest after a busy rushing day..

Dev came back from work. As usual he went o check on Radhika, who was on strict bed rest for the last two months as the doctor said it started showing the signs of dilation already. The twins and the speediness of Radhika's activity chained her to bed..

Dev coming near and kissing her forehead : how are you feeling ?

Radhika: good.. but bored, I can't lay like this any more, so boring Dev, I want to walk around with you, at least in our garden., please..

Dev smiled and went to change, saying: nope

"please dev, baby also will feel good"

Dev: ok baba, come, but promise slow walk

Radhika: I can try

Dev: Radhikaa

Radhika: ok, slow walk.

They sat on the garden bench, and Radhika just enjoyed the flowers around. They discussed how well things are going on. Radhika fvent her missing feeling as she preferred to be onsite with that dream project. But Dev console her saying , everything is under control as he cancelled all his foreign trips for next 6 months, he just want to be near Radhika, or around. He divided works accordingly and put a demand pause on any major task around. They sat silently holding onto each others shoulder.

The night was extremely calm and both Radhika and Dev were sleeping sound.' Suddenly Radhika's forehead tightened as if she heard a thunder out... she sat down holding on to her tummy.. Dev felt her moving and he opened his eyes too..

Dev turning the bed lamp on: Radhika are you Ok?

Radhika as if listening to hear the voice out: ha, ' I thought it is raining outside.

Dev looking outside, saw the window curtains flying high: ha.. I think it is going to ... .. You sleep, I can close the window... . he went and closed the window and joined her back in bed'

Radhika was feeling some uneasiness, she was feeling some vacuum inside suddenly, or a gassy feeling, she tried to relax, she tried to feel the baby movement, she rubbed over her tummy, she tried to wake them up too.. time was passing by', but no response.. she was feeling nervous..

Radhika: Dev

Dev in his sleep: um..

Radhika: I don't feel good.

Dev: what?

Radhika still rubbing on her tummy : I think baby is not moving..? feel like i need to throw up too...

Dev sat quick: what?

Radhika: no, actually I was waiting for long, I can't feel any movement.., also feeling nauseous...

Dev: they may be sleeping.,.

Radhika: no Dev, I can feel the difference..

Dev: ok.. then let's go to hospital..

Radhika: no let's wait..

Dev: no.. no wait for this.. let's go..

Within seconds they reached the hospital. Doctor placed the monitor and gave a relief smile seeing the heart beats. "here they are"

Dev felt an equal relief as Radhika and smiled at her , comforting her.

Dr. : I am glad you came for the checkup, she was getting ready, so let me check completely before I send you home..

Dev went out..

Few minutes passed by..

Dr: Dev, it's the 38^th week running.

Dev: ha DR.

Dr: actually she is ready.. I don't think we need to wait any more. Her dilation is more than 4 cm now and I think it is better to stay back..

Dev: will that little early..?

Dr. no it is ok.. Dev.. the baby is full term.. even if you take her now, you may need to bring her back soon.. so let admit her..

Dev: ok Dr. as you say..

Dr: Radhika, you think you need something for pain

Radhika; I don't feel any pain doctor.

Dr.: um, that's what I was also wondering, but when I did that complete check up, I can feel that slight contractions, so maybe towards later. But if you want to take rest, you can, or feel free to walk around,... you are free, ok.

Radhika: ji..

DR went out.. The nurse came and started a IV. Dev sat there near Radhika with a heavy face..

Radhika: Dev, don't worry, everything will be OK..

Dev: I think I suppose to say that to you...'

Radhika smiled,..

Radhika: let's go for a walk..

Dev: um..

Radhika held her hand and they walked almost the whole length of the hallway.. Radhika saw the rain outside..

Radhika: I am glad we came here early..

Dev holding onto her shoulder : me too..

Time was passing by. Radhika felt very tired.. and got back to bed.. she started getting the pain , the Dr injected the pain med into her lower back. ' the medicine showed its effect and she slowly dosed off into her sleep. Dev sat next to her.. morning he made phone calls, few extra ones.. daadi and Birju came with breakfast.. they saw RAdhika sleeping.. and one nurse came and checked on the status'.

Later Radhika wake up from her sleep with a feel to push. Nurse went and called the doctor.. soon she got moved to the labor room' .

Dev stood there in great tension, daadi touched his shoulder/.. he gave a smile back adn then stood looking at those few drops that got stuck on leaves... and time ticked by..' and finally the doctor came out and gave the good news'... Dev sat on the chair thanking the Lord almighty...'

Dev, then with a hope: can I see Radhika..

Dr: we will be transferring her soon.. ok..

Dev looked at them thankfully'.

The nurse came out holding the little one bundled up in her arm, in a white satin cloth...' Dev walked near to the nurse, his facial muscles stretched out seeing the tiny one in her hand. Dev looked at daadi and then slowly cribbed his arms to hold her'. He looked at those sleepy face, the baby just stretched her pink lips to a corner as if it recognized the warmth...'

With his wet eyes , looking at her angel face.. he called ."my mishti..'

"Mishti!! Who chose that one?"

Daadi's voice, did not alter his attention.. his eyes still on her face'.

With a childish voice he said: ha Mishtiii, my mishti... .. I am papa's mishti'... mishti the angel'... chuu chuu chu'... heina betiya.. meri nanni si pari'... thu mishti heina' bolo daadi ko mei mishti'... mishti'... he tried to rock the baby in his hand..

Daadi: wow Dev, I am impressed, you know how to handle the baby in your arms, that also this tiny!!!!! ..

Dev again in childish voice: ha, tho.. she knows me'.. and I know her' ...and she is my mishti'

Daadi: Dev, you really gone mad'

But then the nurse came with the second baby', Daadi happily held him in her arms..

Dev came near and looked at his son's face,' and then looking back at mishti's face he said :" look , our CPP CPP is here too', did you see him.. ha', momy's CPP...'

Daadi tightening her forehead: CPP!!!!! What is that?

Dev in childish voice: nobody knows except his mom' ...she only named him CPP..

Daadi thought for a second.. and trying to recollect Radhika's talk, anywhere did she mentioned about CPP..:

Then coming back to present time:.. daadi : but Dev, what is this CPP, C purohith Purohith???

Dev: we don't know, it is between him and his mother.. for me, I am ok with any name as long as my Mishti likes her name..

Daadi self talk : I thought the new generation is good with finding names..but this sounds like our generation is much better..

Time passed by'

Radhika was coming out from her tiredness.. The nurse rolled her down back to her room.. Dev walked along with them.. and finally she got transferred to the bed.. and the nurse left giving instruction to call them with need..

As they left the room..

Dev sat near her at the bed side and then leaning his upper body near her, he kissed her tired forehead.. as he pressed his lips hard on her forehead two drops of tear drops fell on her skin..

Radhika closed her eyes, feeling his love '.and two drops rolled down from her eyes corner too'

Finally he was able to speak out, lowering his gaze to meet hers: you took so long Radhika, you know that I get tensed if I don't see you near me for that long.

Radhika trying to bring a smile: really!!'... you waited that long..

Dev with a forceful smile: not really, but each minute took an hour to pass for me..

Radhika smiled again ': where is our babies..

Dev: outside'.. with daadi and all.. the nurse wanted to check on something..so they will be coming soon.

Radhika: how do they look like?

Dev rubbing on her hands: ha.. mishti looks like me, but your CPP, ummm ..i think...' looks like me only..

Radhika: what?!!

Dev: in short, both looks like me only.. their handsome papa...

Radhika: after all this pain, you are saying this to me.. that both looks like you..

Dev: ha, but I think they both look very cute too, just like you..

Radhika: Dev'

Dev chuckled'.

Nurse coming in..: Radhika , try to feed the baby now.. ok..

Dev got up from the bed and stood nearby hanging his arms on his sides.

Radhika looked at the door with a smile and anticipation to see her little ones faces...

She saw Daadi.. and then slowly the smile disappeared from her lips.. her eyes gone wide, her mouth went dry.. for a second, she thought she is feeling dizzy...' she held onto Dev's arm, which was still touching her head side of bed'.. and unknowingly she squeezed on his hand, making sure she is not seeing images in front of her' and then slowly her eyes went up to meet his..

Dev looking at Radhika.. just nodded his head reassuring her the scene is true..

The tears just rolled up in her eyes, and it started making its trail down..

Her mom came near , holding mishti in her arms, looked her daughter's face once and then making Mishti to lay near Radhika's side, she gave a comforting kiss on her daughter's forehead...' and then looked at Radhika's eyes'... time ticked by.. she saw the pain in her mom's eyes, for all that what happened in front of her eyes, and she easily read the helplessness in those eyes'

Radhika: maa.. its not your fault.. its my fate' she was able to say that out..

Her mother controlling all her pain and tears: betiya, maaf karde mujhe' .. bas ek bar..

Radhika with broken words: but you never hurt me maa..

Maa: Kanha is there with you all the time.. He only united you with Dev.. sab Esawr ke echa..

Daadi with a smile and wet eyes: chalo Radhika beta'... feed the babies now'

Dev went out from the scene, leaving the ladies behind..

Her dad, stood outside with her siblings.. They just came near and hugged him tight from both sides..

Dev smiled hugging them both in his arms..

Then went near the silently crying face who is standing at a corner; Radhika's dad..

Dev: Radhika is fine..she is happy to see her mom nearby , especially at this time.. I told you, she will be very happy..but you didn't believe me..

Radhika's dad: no Dev beta, we were so helpless at that time.. unable to bear the burden of my own child's tragedy we left our joint family, that place..and was trying hard to find a daily earning , to feed my family'... then you accidently found us inVarun's hotel..

Dev: ha, Babuji', actually we were going to a Temple at that time, it was an offering, to climb those steps to see the face of The Lord and to feed the hungers, I thought Radhika won't be able to make it, but she did. .. but then on the way back, when we stopped the car for some reason.. Radhika got the smell of the samosa from the nearby dhaba.. and she started drooling for it, saying she want it right then, as it reminded her off her home too and made me to walk in.. then only I came to know it was run by Varun and his few friends and their chain of dhabas in main cities'., I was knowing him earlier, but then.. that day, I got a chance to show him my wife too, whom he was following for days at the beginning of her college .. then accidently I saw Radhika's Sister cleaning the table.. I recognized her.. may be Kanha made us to stop there , to show you all to me.. but then I wanted to Give Radhika a surprise, so only I kept it as a secret, when she is giving me the most happiest gift for my life, I wanted to gift her also something, which is close to her heart'... so only I kept you away from her for this long.. I am sorry..

Radhika's dad hugging him : no beta.. we need to ask you for sorry'... Now because of you I am working at IP in a supervisory post and you made them to feel that I am so close to you.. You brought back my dignity, made me to feel that I am also someone special in your life..

And my kids started going back to school.. I am so happy , am so lucky, to get you as our son- in 'law..

Dev just smiled and hugged him back..

Daadi: ye, all come.. Radhika can't wait anymore to see you guys..

It was time of happiness in Radhika's life'... she was surrounded by her own family.. few hours passed, Radhika woke up from her sleep.. she heard the talk from little far away.. she turned her face to check over that side..

i luv u so much di superb update no words 2 explain now mishti and cpp in dev's hands i felt so happy when i was reading the update i liked the update so much di the update was mindblowing
