Aishwarya Sakuja Diwali is family time but I won't be able to go home as I am stuck with work. My dad isn't home either. So, this Diwali I will do the most auspicious thing- earn money! [laughs]. I love dressing up for Diwali, giving and receiving gifts. I love painting diyas too. I am against crackers as not only does it increase noise pollution, scares and harms animals, it also involves child labour in production of crackers. For me, Diwali means festival of lights so diyas are my thing. I gobble up all homemade sweets made by my masi and bua and don't like the commercialization of sweets. Once I burnt my hand while bursting crackers and therefore I understand why crackers are dangerous. |
