Part 24 -B

The farmhouse was completely decorated. Radhika's friends started showing up slowly one by one by 4.30 onwards , to be there at 5 PM to enjoy the party'. Radhika did welcome everyone with a smile on her face. They got surprised to see the decoration and the party arrangements. Radhika was wearing her usual college churidar .

Piya: what is this yaar? We all came up after dressing up well and all, and you looks like you are just ready to go to college, are yaar college is over,

Radhika: I feel so comfortable in this dress , you know.

Piya: so are you going to wear this!!

Radhika: no, I need to go and change, just wanted to make sure you all are comfortable here, so feel free and enjoy the party, ok. Others may be coming around 6PM, so I have enough time to dress up.

Vicky: Radhika we are here, still not seeing your husband..!

Radhika: he will join us soon too, he is actually waiting for someone.. .

Time ticked by, IP employees were partying around too. Radhika slowly retired back to get ready. Slowly PC staff also started coming in around 6 PM..

Vishaka was walking around with her grumpy face and Goapal Das , and Pinky started picking for their choice from the countertop.

Vishaka was trying to locate Dev around: Where is Dev Purohith? why all of a sudden he is throwing a party for everyone and that also arranged by himself!!!!

... But then Vishaka spotted Panday and Manisha, ' so did Dev invited IP too.. so Radhika should be around here too.. her eyes searched over everywhere,' she noted many new faces, looks like young people.. chatting and enjoying the party happily... by then all the PC people came in too...'

Finally a car stopped at the main gate.. Kanika walked in wearing a golden glittery knee length dress... .. she got surprised to see her friends around..

Kanika: what you guys are doing here!!!!

Vicki: what are you doing here!!!?

Kanika: actually Dev car'.. but then.. Daadi came down with a smile.. greeting everyone..

Everyone got into silence mode..

Daadi: are you guys enjoying the party..

Group: yes'

Daadi: welcome everyone.. few knows me well but few don't.. addressing Radhika's friends., and I think it is time to know each other well too.. anyway as i know you all , I would like to guide you all to join my Grandson and my loveliest bahu' ..so please , everyone come inside..

The group followed Daadi... Amba, Vishaka , Gopal Das, and Pinky and all other PC employees rolled their eyes.. loveliest bahu.!!!!!.. who is that??? everyone walked in.. few with happy smile, few with doubt... ' they entered this big hall, completely arranged with white orchids and red roses' ..with satin curtains hanging from everywhere', their eyes gone wide seeing the world inside'

The white marbled semi circular step were completely covered with lights and flowers. A soft music was playing at the background. Dev wearing a black suite showed up at the top step, and his wife wearing the most beautiful red saree with full of sequence work showed up with holding his left upper arm. The soft music continued to give its magic in the free air . Dev gave that proud little smile looking at his wife, who smiled back at him and walked down along with her husband gracefully.

The music still playing.. Hall still silent.. the group just stood froze with their parted lips as wide as possible.. Vishaka felt like her vision got blurred... she shook her head once and then looked again.. yes it is Radhika, holding onto Dev's left upper arm'... her jaw just dropped down unknowingly...and she felt like her eyes are filling with darkness...

Gopal Das and Pinky just smiled wide' ..seeing the most beautiful dream they ever saw together, coming to them in reality'.. Amba looked at the couple and unknowingly her lips stretched out still in confusion: is it true, this that Radhika???'

.Kanika just slipped on her heels once.., as Usnder held onto vicky's shoulder with parted jaw.

The couples climbed down and Dev guided Radhika in direction where Kanika was standing

Dev pausing in front of Kanika: Hi Kanika.. thanks for coming.. and this is Radhika.. who was my secretary once.. but for last two years she is my wife.. yes she is Mrs Radhika Singh.. with a correction She is Mrs. Dev ManoharSingh Purohith.. I mean in a simple way.. Mrs. Dev .. so do you need any more clarification now... and as I said the other day, she is not the reason behind my business success, but YES she is the reason behind my happiness, behind my smile' ...

Kanika felt giddiness. She again slipped on her heels.. and suddenly they heard a BOOOM' ..the silence around, made its impact and everyone looked at the spot and unfortunately it was Vishaka on the floor with closed eyes..

Dev: Gopal das sir'...

Gopal Das: Yes sir..

Radhika took Dev to her friends: this is Vicky, Sunder.. Piya.. Lally the list went on'

Dev shook hand with everyone with a smile,' they just touched his hand as if they are in a dream'... and looked at him closely as if they are in an imaginary world..

Dev: Hay Radhika, nobody is talking anything now', what was that Sunder said the other day about me, as I can remember only what piya said : so sweet na...

Sunder looked at Radhika unbelievably.. his mouth went dry and he wanted to hide his face right then behind his freinds' , whereas Piya stood as if in a dream and her parted lips mumbled: so sweet na

Dev smiled seeing her expression.

The group enjoyed.. and they rejoiced.. they recollected all those Dev talk while learning.. they are still in dream world... trying to digest the truth...

Pinky came running and hugged Radhika , Gopal Das congratulated both.. They felt very proud to know about Radhika..

Vishaka woke up from her darkness and got u on her feet slowly. She came near and stood by with her tired eyes... .. she remembered asking Radhika once at the office "what is that so special in you that made Dev to fall for you? Afterall you are just an ordinary village girl.." she said in mind.." no she is not.. she is the4 best outgoing business student this year from the most famous business school in India, she is running IP, and bringing that into profit, and yes she is special, that is why she is standing next to Dev Purohith holding his hand... and smiling with him..."...

The only people around enjoying thed party was IP employees.. for them Dev and radhika are together, and they didn't notice the people's excitement and wonderment in meeting this couple... for them they are ready to sing and dance with Dev when he is upset to cheer himself, to cheer his Radhika...

Romeo walked by Vishaka singing " mei koi aisa geet gavum.. ke.." Vishaka's eyes just followed him...

Dev: Radhika I have a surprise for you..

Radhika: what..!

Dev pointed at a corner, Radhika saw her bhayya.. standing there..

Radhika smiled wide,..

Dev: I need to tell a secret..

Radhika: what?

Dev: he is actually our staff, and from tomorrow onwards your personal security guard'

Radhika realizing the prang behind his act, with an ear to ear smile just went into her husband's arms and hugged him tight.. the group saw it' ...their lips parted.. Radhika hugging Dev in front of everyone'. Then Dev wrapped his arms around her'... holding her closer, looking into each other's eyes they smiled together in the midst of all the friends and employees .

The secret is not a secret anymore'... it went into the media.. it was the best sensational news for few days..

Radhika got in charge of the Dev's dream project and her college friends joined her.. They surprised later to hear that Radhika is actually pregnant..

Meanwhile Radhika appeared in front of the court, by then the lawyer gathered all the evidence against Mohini and Rohan. They been taken to the jail.. Radhika didn't smile hearing the news, but she just rubbed over her tummy once, and a tear drop roll down.

One night at mansion..

Rahdika standing at the balcony leaning back on Dev, Dev wrapping his arms around her lower abdomen as if supporting his baby' ,they stood there feeling the cold wind'

Dev: do you think you can go tomorrow..

Radhika: um.. its for our baby..

Dev: ha.. but..

Radhika: no I am fine.. why did you kept Mohini's case away from me..

Dev: because I don't think she has any place in our life..

RAdhika: no Dev, it is because of her'... its all happened only because of her.. and I got you' ... only because of her, otherwise how I would have come to you..

Dev: its not her Radhika, after a pause he asked :so do you want to forgive her,..

Radhika turning back and hugging him: no, she did commit a crime, she should get the punishment..but some where I feel we met because of her..

Dev with a calm soft voice : Radhika, it is not because of her.. it was the destiny , that is what united us.. It brought all that situations so that we can understand each other, we can love each other, and holding onto you I can move on in my life, and that's the destiny..

Turning in his embrace and looking into Dev's eyes: yes, it was the destiny, and it brought all the dreams come true to me, and now I can feel myself , as I you are holding me in your arms..

She smiled as she hugged him again, but then the baby kicked Dev felt the force..

Dev: this is your CPP only', see he is kicking me away..

Radhika: ha, he will be my protector..

Dev: oh really, then it is my Mishtii, she might be missing me badly, and when she came to know that I am so near to her, she wanted to feel me, you see, when she comes na, we will be a great team..

Radhika: let see...'

The night got more darker.. Radhika and Dev got back into their room.. Radhika rested her head in Dev's arm'.. and slipped to a most beautiful dream, and a small smile was tucked on her corner lips.

Don't know how you take it, yes now the secret is out, things are settling down for them. i will be updating DG # 2 probably tomorrow and day after, so possibly next part of Destiny , I will post on next week, as i will be mostly free after next tuesday. let see how things happens..ok
