Geet was sitting in her room as a newly bride sits on her first night.

Even though she was sixteen she has dreamt of this day from the beginning.She was eagerly waiting for her husband her maan but from inside she was feeling shy at the thought of what would come next.She remembered her wedding which happened few hours ago and they were husband and wife.The moment maan tied the mangalsutra on her neck she became his and only his.

The thought the she will became totally his was completely making her insane and her heart was thudding.Geet heard the door being open and she closed her eyes feeling shy.Maan entered the room and saw that the room was beautifully decorated and her bride was sitting on the bed waiting for him.

He was not interested in the marriage as he was only eighteen and he didn't even complete his studies .He married to geet for the sake of dadi and he was not interested in geet also.He went inside and looked at her

Maan: suno

Geet:ji

Maan:main washroom jaa raha hoon

Geet:ji

Maan:tum yahi par change karlo bohut raat ho gayi hai

Maan left the room and went into the washroom while tears welled up in her eyes.Various thoughts were coming in his mind regarding his behavior

Geet thought:kya main unhe pasand nahi wo mere saath aise kyu behave kar rahe hai main to hiss din ka kabse wait kar rahi thi par sab kuch khatam ho gaya sab kuch kya wo iss riste ko maante nahi aisa nahi ho sakta hai shayad unhe kuch time chahiye hoga

Geet changed her clothes in the room while maan took little time so that she can change.He came and settled on the bed while geet slept next to him crying.She thought that he might talk to her after coming out but he didn't.He quietly came and slept on the bed without telling anything.Geet was feeling very sad because she had immensely fallen in love with maan at the first sight and she thought that she will become his and only his this night but all went in vain.

A month has passed after the marriage and maan didn't even talk to geet.Geet would do all her wifely duties and would try to talk to him but he would not speak rather than haan and hmm

Today maan was going to USA for his further studies.Dadi asked him to take geet also but he totally said NO.He didn't want her to go with him and he was going to London so that he can stay away from her.Maan left the room with his luggage and went down and hugged dadi tightly.He didn't bid to say bye to her while geet was in tears.Dadi was also in tears and maan left without even looking at her.Geet went to her room and fell on the bed bursting into tears.Tears were not stopping from her eyes and she was continuously crying.She took his photo in her hand and kissed it

Geet:kya aap mujh se itni nafrat karte hai ki aap mujhe bina mille hi chale gaye ek baar bye bhi nahi kiya aur na hi mere taraf dekha boliye na kyu kiya aapne mere saath aisa kyu kiya

During night she changed into one of his shirts and shorts which he had left and slept crying dreaming about him

After five years

Five years has passed sice maan went to London.He used to call and speak to dadi everyday but he didn't speak to geet for once also.Geet would everyday wait for his call to speak with him but it didn't happen.Whenever dadi would ask her about maan she would say that she spoke to him but the truth was that she didn't speak to him for once also.Dadi would also think that maan might call geet at night.Geet would miss him everday and sometimes whenever she would miss him more she would wear his clothes and sleep.Even after five years she could feel his smell in his clothes.She was missing to see him she was dying to hear his voice.

Today in khurana mansion all the servants were running here and there because today was the day maan was returning back.For geet it was the most precious day .It was the day she had been waiting for the past five years she was waiting for her husband her maan.Dadi was instructing all the servants to work properly and it was then they heard a door bell.Geet's heart was thumping faster and she was feeling very happy.Dadi went and opened the door and the sight shocked him to the core.Her eyes welled up with tears.Geet came running from the kitchen and stood next to dadi.Her whole world came down in a matter of few seconds her dreams were all shattered.The dream about a small family she had been dreaming from past five years has shattered.Tears started to flow from her eyes and she clutched to her mangalsutra tightly.Maan was standing there with a girl and his arms were around her waist.She was wearing a salwar suit and her maang was filled with sindoor and mangalsutra was tied around her neck.Yash and annie also came running after hearing the bell but the sight shocked them
