Part 10B

Arnav could hear the noise made by anklets and some other jewelry. He guessed that probably Geet was still getting ready and therefore he started moving back to the door to go to the hall.

Khushi: Geet Di! please yeh bandhne mein madad kardo.

Arnav froze in his tracks. "If it's not Geet in there then who is she?" He thought.

Khushi: Di please jaldi aao mujhse yeh kamar baandh sabhal nahi raha.

Arnav thought it was best to just walk out of the room right NOW. But something in him was stopping him to do so. There was a part of him which was curious enough to know more about the voice. There was an evil part of him which wanted to see her face once. His feet turned around towards the source of the voice without his consent. He moved towards the wooden divider and saw a thin girl in lemon colour lehenga-choli trying to hold on to something on her waist on the other side of the divider. And then he saw HER (Khushi yayyy!!!!). There, through the divider he saw her face in the mirror as she was admiring herself. That should have been enough, his brain told him but for some evil and unreasoned reason it wasn't. His eyes started wandering from her eyes which had some special kind of sharaarat in them to her high cheek bones towards her lips which very easily formed a smile. His eyes lowered down to her long neck which was raised high up with an attitude. She looked really cute looking at herself like that in the mirror, he thought. He smiled looking at her. She filled his heart with a different kind of happiness which he couldn't justify. But soon as his eyes lowered from her neck to her back which didn't have any cotton on, the happiness changed into a different emotion which he didn't know what to name. It was much more intense, like she was a magnet which was attracting him towards her with no end to it. There was a click of a sound which brought back from his dream world. He couldn't believe himself. How can he react in such a way towards a girl he has met for the first time? Actually he hasn't met her yet! And what the hell is he doing in this room at the first place? He couldn't recall why he was in this room. The girl had some serious effect on him.

Suddenly somebody opened the door and Arnav out of his reflexes in order to hide moved to the other side of the divider. The moment Khushi saw a man in her room her eyebrows shot up and her lips formed an O out of Shock!

Rano entered the room looking for the girls.
Rano: Geet, Khushi kahan ho tum dono? Tayiyar ho gayi kya?

Before Khushi could react to anything happening around her Arnav stopped her from speaking anything by keeping his right hand on her mouth and with the other he got hold of her right hand and held it tightly behind her back. She was shocked out of her wits.

Rano: Geet shayad Arnav ke saath hall mein chali gayi hogi. Khushi?
She shouted for her just to check if she was in the bathroom or so.

Arnav: Chup! 😳He whispered near her ear.
Khushi couldn't understand a thing what was happening. She was breathing heavy and started feeling dizzy as Arnav had his hand firmly kept over her mouth to make sure she doesn't make any noise. Her legs didn't support her body weight any longer and she rested herself completely in his arms. Just to not let herself fall, her left hand, which was holding her kamar baandh in place, grew its hold on it even tighter.

Rano: Shayad dono neeche chali gayi. She turned back and went downstairs, closing the door behind her.

Unaware of the fact that there wasn't a soul present in the room apart from theirs they both didn't move an inch. Khushi's warm breath was lying on his hand and her eyes were the most beautiful ones he had ever seen. He came out of his trance when her eyes slowly started closing, and there was a loud noise of the kamar baandh falling on the ground as her hand couldn't hold it any longer.

Wow, what an amazing intro for each other...Khushi has literally fainted!!! hahaha...can't wait to see how Maneet meet. update soon.
