The car came to a halt and they both got off. Their hotel, Lagoona Resort, was the best hotel of Lonavala and well Gunjan was used to these kind of places now. She had stayed with Samrat for 6 months now and everywhere they went Samrat always booked the best! Gunjan loved Samrat not for the money he had but for the his humbleness and for the fact that he didn't show off his great achievements and wealth. The receptionist showed them the way to their suite. They were very exhausted, physically as well as mentally! They both collapsed on the bed and breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally we are here.." Samrat said. After a while when they had freshened up, Gunjan asked, "So what's the schedule for these four days?" Samrat opened his briefcase and took out a sheet of paper. "Day 1 – We have a company meeting, where we will portray our ideas with the help of a slide show in the business centre here. Day 2 – We have a party in the evening, where we can talk to people and increase our contacts. Day 3 – We have another meeting in the morning and then the final event at night. Day 4 – we leave!" he said in excitement. Gunjan had not seen Samrat so excited for anything before. It sure meant alot to him. "So what should we do today?" she asked. "What do you want to do?" "How about a swim?" Gunjan suggested. "What?.." Samrat said finding it really awkward. "No" he said. "Oh kaay.. then you tell me what we can do at 4:30 in the evening!" she said. "I dont know!" he said, "I am usually at work this time! You say na?!" Gunjan thought for a while and said, "I told you, lets go swim you disagreed." "Thats because" he stopped. "Because I don't like swimming!" he replied looking away. Gunjan understood what he didn't want to say. "Ok, lets go for a walk?" she asked, she didn't want Samrat to be embarrassed either. "Okay! Thats fine with me." He said feeling better!

The weather was cool and the scene was beautiful. The hotel had maintained their garden very well. There were different kinds of trees and flowers. Both of them were just strolling away talking to each other about the trees, the tender, the weather but both of them had some feelings which they wanted to share. They wanted to hold hands as their hands brushed against each other. Gunjan wanted Samrat's arm to be around her and hers to be around him. But courage. That was something they both didnt have. They wanted to confess. They really wanted to be together. But Courage. They both had a fear inside them of losing one another. They had walked till the end and now had started to come back when it began to rain. The raindrops poured down on them and they both looked at each other with surprised faces. It didn't really rain in autumn. Samrat was actually SHOCKED where as Gunjan was SURPRISED. She let the rain fall on her but Samrat had different plans. "Lets GO!" he told Gunjan. "No way! In Calcutta whenever it used to rain I always used to get wet!" she said happily. Samrat was about to leave when she held his hand. "Your not going anywhere Samrat!" she ordered. "Gunjan its raining heavily now! We will fall ill!" he said. "I dont care!" she replied pulling him back. He watched her twirl in the rain and he stood there gawking at her in mesmerisation. She stopped as she saw that he was staring at her. "What happened?" she asked. He came out of his trance and shook his head. He held is hand out to her. "Waah! Samrat's in the mood to dance. So now he likes the rain!" she thought. She readily held his hand. But instead of dancing Samrat pulled her towards him. "Lets GO!" he said again. Gunjan got irritated, "Noo Samrat! Its fun here!" she said. "Your going to fall ill..!" he said with irritation. Gunjan stopped to think once but didn't care. She tried to free herself from samrat's hold but he had different plans. In a fraction of a second he lifted her in his arms and began to march towards the hotel. There was thunder and then lightening and a frightened Gunjan hugging Samrat. Samrat looked at her with love and she looked back at him, their eyes met. She was finally there, in his arms. His grip was tight and he walked steadily forwarded. And then.. *Aiichhoo* Gunjan sneezed. Samrat said nothing. She looked embarrassed. He had warned her that she would fall ill but she paid no heed to his words and now she was ill. He carried her drenched all the way to the room not noticing that they were being seen by Neil. His eyes widened and his mouth opened in awe. "Gunjan can't do this to me! She loves me.. doesn't she? She cannot forget us so fast! And Samrat Shergill he hasn't loved anyone in his life. What will he love Gunjan! This is all just bad timing. Maybe she fell Thats why he had to lift her up. He is looking annoyed anyway!" He tried to console himself.

Back in their room, Gunjan changed her clothes and came out to see a hot cup of coffee on her side table and Samrat sitting there drying his hair. He looked up at Gunjan as she came in. "I am sorry!" she said. "No Gunjan, why are you saying sorry, I should say sorry, If you would have stayed in the rain for a few more seconds then you would have been perfectly fine by now.!" He said. Gunjan sat down next to him, "I said na I am sorry... Why are you getting so angry?" She asked. "I have never seen you so angry before!" she commented. "When someone falls ill by mistake, I feel sorry, but when someone purposely WANTS to fall ill , obviously I will get angry!" he said as he got up and took his clothes out! "I promise I will listen to you from next time!" she said. Samrat smiled slightly and went to change. Gunjan sneezed again. "See Gunjan, Samrat cares sooo much for you! He was so angry today because of you! And.. and.. that moment when he lifted you up.. Even though he was angry you could feel his love and affection. How could I fall ill when my husband took so much care of me? No one could hurt me when he was around. I am falling in love again and again. How could someone care so much? How could someone express their affection and anger together? How could anyone be soo loving and just.. just fabulous!" Gunjan's heart leapt with joy as she thought about all the wonderful things Samrat had done for her. She was indeed very lucky to have him and obviously she gave most credit to Bui.. If not for her then Gunjan would be sitting with Neil now and the most amazing person on this planet would be sitting in his office and working!

As Samrat came out of the bathroom, Gunjan said sorry again. He smiled and said, "No its okay, but I dont understand why you want to fall ill?" Gunjan laughed at his comment. "I dont, but its so much fun to just let the raindrops fall on your face and you feel so nice and cool. Rain is just amazing. You should try it!" she said. Samrat didn't reply. Only he knew how much he hated the rain. He always caught a cold and he knew exactly how terrible it was when you would have to get up at night and cough and sneeze and all the throat aches and everything! He just wanted to protect Gunjan.

"Okay, leave all this! Lets go down for dinner." She said. Samrat agreed. Both of them went downstairs. Samrat was a little silent as he remembered him lifting Gunjan in his arms. He was smiling as he walked to the restaurant. Gunjan was also thinking about it. They both took a table and sat down. The buffet was set and the variety was vast. Their was a Chinese, Thai, Mexican and Indian section. Gunjan went to the Chinese section where as Samrat just followed her. As usual he was not fussy about food. Gunjan gave him all the things she loved. He just kept looking at everything Gunjan was putting on his plate. He didn't really have to work very hard to choose. Gunjan skipped the soup counter but Samrat got soup for her thinking that it would help cure her cold. Gunjan was so happy when Samrat told her the reason he had got her the soup. She just kept looking at him every now and then to see if he was actually enjoying the food. And truthfully he wasn't. Obviously he didnt say anything because that would hurt Gunjan's feelings but she knew it. Gunjan got up from the table and went to the Indian section. Samrat looked so confused because Gunjan didnt eat so much. Chinese as well as Indian? But before he realised what she was doing, the plate he had got before was replaced by a plate with kali Dal, Paneer and hot kulchas. He smiled as he looked at gunjan. "We are so different and yet, he makes me fall in love with whatever he does and whatever he eats" Gunjan thought. "You don't need to eat something you don't like." She told him. Samrat looked shocked, "How did you know that I didn't like it?" he asked. "Because of your expressions.!" She replied smiling away. "You know what..? I have never understood how people can have noodles with some gravy and all that. How do they like such oily food?" he commented. "Samraaat! Just because I am got you what you like doesn't mean you criticise Chinese food. Its my favourite!" she said proudly. "Yes yes. I know." He said.

They laughed at the table as they talked to each other. Neil sat at the parallel table and kept wondering why Gunjan hadn't noticed him yet. But little did he know how Gunjan felt and what new feelings had risen in their hearts. Neil didnt love Gunjan either, he used to but now she was a mere possession which he wanted. He had started to want her back in his life. He couldn't bear to see her with someone who actually made her happy. She couldn't see her smile with Samrat. He wanted to see that Gunjan who couldn't move when she had seen him at her reception party. Who was so silent and sad when Samrat was around her. He wanted to see the Gunjan who loved her more than anything. Gunjan had become a mere obsession for him whom he wanted to achieve at any cost.

That night was very long. They both lay on their bed while Gunjan coughed and sneezed. Samrat patted her shoulder so that she would stop. Gunjan was feeling cold at night so she slid her hands into Samrat's blanket and almost cuddled into him. Samrat smiled as he saw her little angel-like face so close to his. His heart wanted to move ahead and kiss her but his mind stopped him. She was happy now and all this may come as a shock to her Thats why he still searched for the right time.

Gunjan got dreams every night. Dreams which she yearned to come true. Dreams that she wanted to live. Dreams of Samrat and her together.. nothing extra ordinary. Just the same old day, but the difference was that they both were in love and were expressing it in different ways... :D

Well I just wanted to say that My exams are starting from next week so this is my last update for the time-being. Will be back after my exams, which end on the 25th of Oct. Well.. its my 10th so I am leaving a week early this time.
