… Evening Radhika was getting ready for the party..

Dev: um.somebody looks so sexy…

Radhika wearing a cream color party wear saree, was trying to adjust the necklace well around the neck: sexy!!..

Dev: um… look at you… he held on her shoulder and made her to look into the mirror.. he said: now you look yourself into the mirror and tell me, .

Radhika: um, I know I look really beautiful in this color, right?

Dev: hu?

RAdhika admiring herself : is my necklace match well with my saree color., or should I change it?

Dev tightening his forehead: Radhika!!!

RAdhika adjusting the diamond bracelet: um?

Dev : You know what, without all these shiny things around, you look simply beautiful, that's my Radhika . then pausing slightly, he continued: Radhika it may be difficult as IP people knows me well, they may act casual with me. But PC, I don't know…

RAdhika: if we two decide we can handle it well..

Dev giving her a kiss on her neck: I know., and also only Vishaka is coming, so it won't be that difficult

Radhika: can I ask you something?

Dev: um

Radhika: I know Vishaka's grandpa was working for the company and you were so dear to him and all, but then, why can't you tell her to look at things deeply, more professionally.

Dev with a smile: I thought you may ask me that, but Radhika, when her grandpa requested me to give her a job, I also thought she might be intelligent and loyal as she got graduated as an architec, just like him. So I gave her that post, I know who is doing what in my company, and who is capable of doing their work sincerely. Radhika, its bussiness, we need people, and for me, I discuss most of the things with Gopal das ji as I know I can count on him, and few youngsters are good too.

Radhika: I thought that too.

Dev: that's what I said, their eyes only catch certain things, somehow she came to know that IP is doing well, she thought ok, let me make a move, she didn't even take that time to study about it well. For her the information on the surface level was enough to approach me, and for her she had few reference to show. But for me, even though it is ours, I checked back everything one more time, to make sure the company is able to meet the needs, or in case if any change comes, will be able to handle it appropriately, and I was satisfied, so only I proceeded, and more than anything I know if we face any issue, my RAdhika is there to handle it, then why should I worry.

Saying that he again placed another kiss over her neck space.

Dev with a teasing voice: I know that too.

At the party site..

Dev tried to contact Vishaka , she said she may reach little late.. but agreed that she will be there.. the party started and it was going on fine. Finally vishaka came in with a pale face.

found Dev talking on his cell standing in a corner. She looked curiously to see his facial color, and found it very calm and relaxed and as if enjoying the party..

Suddenly Radhika's eyes fell on Vishaka..

Radhika moved to a side and looked for Dev, and then walking near him, said : Dev Vishaka is here..

Dev clenched his jaw once and then bringing an instant serious expression on his face , turned and looked at Vishaka. Vishaka slowly walked towards Dev

Dev: so finally you are here… and then looking at RAdhika: you two met right, so no need to introduce my staff to you..

Radhika: no need, I know her., welcome Vishaka and enjoy the party.

Vishaka was feeling little strange seeing Dev and Radhika so calm and standing together and talking to her .

Radhika: one minute, I will be right back

Saying that she looked at Dev and went away

Vishaka: I thought to tell that you sir, but...

Dev realizing her hesitance: that's ok Vishaka, don't worry about it.,I am fine, I told you for me my business is more important, I don't care about the rest. And then keeping his hands in his pants pocket, he looked at Radhika, who was talking smilingly with the IP employees: can you see any change in RAdhika? I am proud of her, she faced many situations, and still she is trying hard to win the battle, the battle of life, and I trust her, I am sure she will deal with this contract very well.

Vishaka looked at Radhika and then looked at Dev, her eyes cornered at the periphery, feeling jealous, listening to Dev's talk and his loving eyes on her,

Vishaka thought to self: why should I feel uncomfortable, she is married already, she is out from Dev's life, I was worried about how Dev will handle the situation seeing Radhika, but it seems like God is with me, now I can relax.

Dev : ok Vishaka, enjoy the party .

But then romeo came in..

Let's start the music... everybody on the dance floor.. Romeo even without asking permission announced loudly: ok let the blast start with the lovely couple , and then he caught on Dev's wrist

Vishaka's eyes gone wide seeing Romeo's action, but then she felt so happy about thinking of being Dev's partner, But then she saw Romeo pulling on his wrist and walking away . Dev looking back: it's a life's deal and winked his eyes.

Romeo brought him near Radhika. Radhika looked at him smilingly.

Dev extended his arm out, and she with a smile gave her hand in his. The music started playing and soon the surrounding went in dark, leaving the light on the dance floor. The couples made their move with the rhythm of the music.t Vishaka stood there in shock again... but Romeo just went on..

Vishaka felt giddy seeing Dev and Radhika together dancing with the beat. Soon the dance got over and everyone congratulated them. Vishaka kept her ears deaf and was listening to her raised beats only and relaxed self re-scripting Dev's words: it's the business deal….

It was dinner time. Radhika went near Vishaka, Vishaka looked at Radhika in question..

Radhika called out Panday and requested him to show Vishaka her table…

Vishaka sat on her chair, her eyes were wandering over Radhika .. and surprised to see Dev standing and talking and with Ip employees and exchanging smile with Radhika , then she thought: where where is her husband? Whom did she marry? It is his business , right? Why he is not been introduced? Oh God. Why should I bother…

Days passed by'.. one day morning as they were walking down the stairs'

Radhika stopped by holding her hands on her forehead.. Dev noticed it.. and within seconds he saw her eyes closing and she is going off her feet'.

Few more minutes passed.. Radhika's hand moved in his hold.. Dev raised his eyes to look at her face . He saw the tightening of the forehead and then few lines appearing near her eyes corner'... her other hand just moved up to her forehead.. touching her forehead she slowly opened her eyes'... Dev moved his face near to her face.. Radhika gazed up as she opened her eyes . and then to the side.. Found Dev sitting next to her'... she tried to sit up'

Radhika: what happened? is everything OK?

Dev tried to smile , he felt the tightness of his throat muscles to get the word out.. he kissed her hand again..the rolled up tears gave up on him and it started rolling down his cheek..

Radhika got anxious and she tried to sit up' : Dev? What happened?

Dev slowly moved her hand towards her lower stomach and then looked at her abdomen lovingly'... and then looked back at her eyes' ...the happiest loveliest look ever..

Radhika looked down at her stomach and then looked into his eyes.. she tried to read his eyes'... everything was clearly written there'... her eyes started feeling wet too.. her lips shivered'... all she could do was nodding, bringing her chin down to her upper front to confirm it.. and yes, he nodded his head in agreement' ... Radhika tried to feel her stomach again'.. she squeezed on his hand' ... time ticked by, but the silence covered the atmosphere, out of joy'.

Daadi came in: Radhika, how are you feeling beta?

Radhikat tried to sit up a s Dev supported her back..

Radhika: I am feeling better.

Daadi went and sat next to her and strolled over her hair : I am so glad to hear the news'... and tell me what you want now.. anything everything will be available for you...' how many more months at college.. you want me and Birju to sit for listening to your presentation, we are ready at any time beta. You want us to copy your notes, we are ready. Birjul and I can help you with all your home work too.., or not we can make Dev to do it.. then IP, I can take care of it completely' I am back to my younger age now', fully energized.. but only want to see you happy and healthy..

Radhika: I am fine daadima.. I will be fine.. I know you all are there with me'

The talk went on.. they shared their happiness.. Dev was extremely caring for her' with everything, he was at the finger reach of her.. he followed her to college.. he made frequent calls to guards, to make sure she is fine'

One night'

Dev was sitting on the bed resting his back on the head rest'..Radika was resting her back on Dev chest and was reading a book.. his arms wrapped around her..

Radhika closed the book: so finally Dev Purohith is going to face the students..

Dev: your Principal, just put me in that situation.. he called me few times from last year.. i excused myself easily but this time no excuse I found.. may be he also learned how to deal with me now... um...

RAdhika: I am sure the students will be thrilled.. but one thing, I am also sitting among the other students.. But there I am just Radhika. Ok.

Dev: Ok baba

Radhika: can I ask you something? Are you afraid to face the students?

Dev tightening his forehead: who me!!! Dev Purohith , never.. Dev MonoharSingh Purohith kissise dartha nahi hum..

RAdhika: because all are preparing questions to fire at you, you know we are different groups, and the lecturer's are evaluating our questions and we get credits for it.. and it is you .. for most of them you are a role model.. so they are dying to get a chance..

Dev: let them ask.. I don't care..

Radhika: um' I am excited too.. I was listening to my classmates excitements too.. You know Kanika.. she is all prepared.. she is like , their group will get the highest points.. You know what she says to everyone'?

Dev tried to look into her eyes..

Radhika: she says, she has the few boldest questions that dev Purohith won't be able to answer

Dev: are you worried?..

Radhika: why should I? she is going to ask you and you need to answer.. not me'

Dev: I am not asking about that.. you are still worried about that Kanika's words,..

Radhika trying to bring a normal tone: no I am not.. I am absolutely fine.. Ok

Dev: ok..then i am also fine..

Radhika then with a doubt: Dev do you want me to get my books for you, so that you can read once and answer tomorrow..

Dev: Radhikaaa

RAdhika: : sorry, just kidding..

Dev: ok, it is too late and it is not good for my baby.. so you better sleep , right now..

Radhika smiled and cling onto his neck as Dev turned the light off'
