Part- 21

The meeting was arranged on a Saturday morning. Dev made a quick program for that day leaving Vishaka to handle it completely. But he affirmed his opinion to get the contract with IP. To confirm his side

Dev: Vishaka you did study well about the company, right?

Vishaka confidently: Yes sir. There is no doubt they are coming up really well, and this is the best time to initiate a contract deal.

Dev : um, then proceed and if you have any questions , call me on my cell , ok.

Vishaka: Ok sir, I think it will go smoothly.

Dev: ok then, good luck, let me know, ok

Vishaka: ji sure, thank you sir.

Dev left the building with an ear to ear smile for Vishaka.

Vishaka was thinking in mind by drawing her lip corner further to one corner: Now you will see the real talent of Vishaka, not only in design making, but selecting the colors for the projects too. I will show Dev how much profit I am going to bring to the company. Then Dev will be back of me. Appreciating my work not only in front of the employees, but in person too, maybe he will invite me for a dinner. Her head was moving high up to the ceiling, imagining all those upcoming precious moments.

Amba's came running in with a very frustrated frogs faceVishaka still in her dreamy world,..

Amba: Vishak.Vishaka…

Hearing Amba's voice, Vishaka jerked, Seeing Amba in fornt , she asked with a sarcastic smile : Are they here.

As Amba felt a lump to spit it out well, or to pronounce the name out, she just nodded her head extending her arm out in an L shape along with flaring her fingers out.

Vishaka making a cat walk towards the main corridor : come on, let me welcome them

Amba followed her , with swollen cheeks , shaking her hands up, trying to tell it out

As they neared the main door, Vishaka stopped for a second, seeing Radhika walking in with two other guys following her

Vishaka first stood in shock but then comprehending back as Radhika neared her: ye, where are you going?.. stop right there!.. in a harsh way.

Radhika paused looking straight into the PC hall, ignoring Vishaka's smirk look

Vishaka smirked again with cornering her eyes to narrow her vision to see only Radhika's side profile, and then took a circle around her , watching her from head to toe.

Vishaka in a very sarcastic way: oh. so you got married!!!!.. seeing the sindoor on her head. Interesting, you found somebody to fall in your jaal. and then clapping her hands once and rubbing it together: nice blue designer saree Radhika, so did your husband took away those bahanji dresses , nice Radhika stood confidently, still keeping her gaze onto the main hall, holding that cell in her hand, Vishaka continued WOW! Nice necklace, ummm looks like no now it is easy to find the cheaper ones on road side too. and wow. matching earring and bracelet too, Oh Radhika, you are really shining in these fake stuff, great .and you learned to walk on that heels to, nice change Radhika.

Radhika stood with patience..

Vishaka came and stood in front and blocked her gaze: I said , nice change… that doesn't mean you can walk in just like that.. then again with a smirky winning smile on her lips: remember how you walked out fromt his building, humiliating Dev did you forget it, that soon.. oh ya, its been over an year now, but still Radhika, this is Purohith Construction, you are thrown out from here. She laughed loud for others to hear it..

Few employees showed up there face to listening to Vishaka's loudness. They also got shocked to seeing Radhika.

Vishaka seeing others eyes, raised her voice little further: oh, are you back to show your fake style to Dev now, you are mistaken Radhika, if he thrown anyone out from his cabin, they are not allowed to stand even near his office building, did you get that? Her angry reminder with cornerd eyes sharpened the words further

Radhika just brought a simple normal smile on her face and looked at Panday..

Panday realizing the meaning of that smile : arre, madam, what is this? we are here because you called us for the meeting.

Vishaka lowering her voice : what meeting?

Panday showed the letter which is headed on PC 's official letter pad.

Vishaka read it, her lips parted seeing her own notes followed by Dev's signature, and that forced her to seal her lips right away, and her eyes were going at its maximum wideness,. her color faded from her cheeks, suddenly she felt her mouth went dry. she was trying hard to get the word out.

Panday: so, can we come in..

Radhika to Panday: when the invitation is there from the Boss why to wait for his subordinate to respond, let's go in.

Vishaka in a reflex extended her arm out to block her way.

Radhika looked at her in question

Vishaka trying to normalize: Radhika, now I know you are the CEO of this company, but I don't think we can proceed with this deal anymore, so get out from here at this moment.

Radhika looked at Panday saying: that doesn't sound like an official welcome. let's talk to the boss directly and ask if this was expected then why he has to send all this letter to us.

Dev got surprised to hear Vishaka's voice in Radhika's mobile, but he understood something is cooking there.

Vishaka hating to say out the name: ha, sir , but…

Dev realizing her shock..: Vishaka, if they are there already why you are talking to me now. See yesterday I talked to few of our clients and they all recommending IP for our work. So at any cost I want the IP deal. Got it. And ha, I don't care about the negotiation, I just want to hear we got it. OK..so good luck… and I am waiting for your call, ok.

Vishaka I total confusion: ha Dev sirr.

Dev: ha.. and as you said we do need to care about the business only, not with the owner or the workers.ok… you said.. right.. as if reminding her own words..

Vishaka in mind first time : .oh My God.. what will I do now..

Radhika turning her phone off, with a confident tone: so.. can we come in now.

Vishaka moved to the side.. Gopal Das got surprised to see RAdhika walking in. He really felt happy to see Radhika in such a higher position.

Radhika: Hi Goapal Sir, how are you?

Gopal :good RAdhikat and happy to see you.. with an ear to ear smile

RAdhika: what happened ? Why are you looking at me like that?

Gopal Das: you changed a lot.. where were you?

Radhika: I was around and busy, so didn't get a time to meet you all.. but I am glad to see you all now.

Radhika : let me go and finish the deal work, IS that ok?

Gopal Das: sure….

Vishaka sat on side chair and Radhika went and sat on the main middle chair where CEO of IP written, like sitting straight opposite to Dev's seat… Pandy came sat next to Radhika.

Manish was walking in, he stopped by near Ambaa and said: if Radhika madam's husband knows about this all na.. you all will be learning a lesson, he will close this company the next day itself. I will try not to tell him, don't tell me afterward that i didn't tell you, ha...… saying that he waved his hand and went to sit near Radhika and said in mind: oh God, what was going on there, anyway let them get scared, so only I said like that to that lady, hum, what they are thinking of our dear Radhika.

The deal talk started. RAdhika put forward her demand. Vishaka said her expectation. Gopal sat in the middle, seeing how professionally Radhika is dealing with the contract . as if a well trained business lady.. Gopal for a second wished for Dev to be present there to see RAdhika. the way she is dealing business.. but then vishaka's voice came out loud that brought him back to reality.

Vishaka was standing on her heels: this is absolutely not possible.. you are asking 15% extra from our talk. No way.. you are only a beginner.

Radhika: We are not beginners, we are in the business for long. And we took our time to come up too. We have good customers in our list, and you called us here seeing our work quality only, there is no question of time frame, if you need our product, then you need to agree with me. Or it is up to you and that it is fine for us too. we have other customers to look forward who look for quality products.

Gopal as if reminding Vishaka: Vishaka I think boss said.

Vishaka sitting back on the chair with her weaker legs: Ok.. but this is not going to help you RAdhika.. giving a warning tone..

Suddenly RAdhika: Radhika Madam. I am the CEO of a company.. and you should respect my post.. and we are doing a business deal. I agreed to meet you because I heard you did all the transactions and you are in-charge of this, so only I am ignored that talk outside. Otherwise I prefer to talk with the boss of the company, so that we can come to a conclusion, than confusion. so if you are not in a position to take any confirmed decision at this moment, and just an in-charge my name, then I think I am dealing with a wrong person. Why should you need to make all that phone calls and discussions and then the invitation to finalize the deal with just an employee. I don't have time to waste like this.

And then looking at Goapal..: Goapal sir, if your boss needs, then next time make sure the meeting should be arranged with someone who can take a decision..please..

Gopal Das understood the sarcasm, hesmiled as if agreeing with her statement..

Vishaka feeling so small in front of RAdhika: ok.. Radhika…. And looked at RAdhika's face who showed the clear expectation of her to say the rest..

Vishaka cleared her throat one more time and said: Ok Radhika

RAdhika: Radhika maaadam.

Vishaka passing that lump: Radhika maadam, let's confirm the deal.

Radhika: ok then.. make the papers ready quick and let's proceed from there.

Radhika ,and Gopal came out together ,. Panday and Manish followed ... Vishaka sat there like still in shock, Amba just stood there waiting to hear her tantrums.

Gopal: Radhika, I am so happy to see you in this post, and may be this is what I have seen in you when I met you first during the interview time..

Radhika: ha vo..?

Amba: Gopal sir vishaka mom needs you..

Gopal straightening his glasses: Radhika, I will see you later…ok

Radhika: um… with a smile

Suddenly one other employee came in running with a smile: Wow Radhika, nice to see you back here

RAdhika: ha me too

Vishaka trying to cheer up: no Sir, I am fine. And it all went fine..

Dev: so how much is the profit?

Vishaka: vo.. vo actually Sir. what happened is..

Dev: its Ok Vishaka, I will check on it when I come.. for now we got the deal, so that's all I need to hear, I don't care about the percent, all I wanted was that deal and you got it, so good work…

Vishaka with a relief: thank you Sir.

She was still sitting in the conference room, thinking what just happened and was trying to comprehend everything… and she decided not to mention RAdhika's name in front of Dev.. just say CEO. May be he will get double angry if he comes to know about RAdhika.. but then he only said we have to think of the work, not the people.. so I can definitely say that out,,… Vishaka sat there trying to reason herself with the act., and I hope this Gopal das will make some adjustment as we talked to tally everything well as planned...

Time and days passed by… the deal went fine, the agreement signed..

PC got an invitation from the IP for the party to celebrate the deal.Vishaka totally tried to avoid it by giving excuses.. but finally it went on to Dev's table and Dev said , I am free let's go for it.. and as the in-charge and making all these decision you also need to attend it.. so we two can represent PC..

Gopal: good idea sir..

Dev: so Vishaka, be there on time, I will be there at the party hall and also I need to meet the CEO of that company and need to congratulate in person as that person made it to this level.. I really appreciate hard working people.. especially when it comes to business who made Dev Purohith to pay extra 15%..

Vishaka: Sir, I don't know whether I can make it..
