Everything was going on well around same at the Mansion and the PC office. Indian paints was showing slow progress in its return. Months flew by..
One day at PC office..
Vishaka was walking faster on her heels towards Dev's office. The knock at the door allowed her to go in..
Vishaka: Dev Sir.. the project is going well, but now we need to finalize the painting contracts..
Dev: why you need to talk about it now as we can give to the same people..
Vishaka: because when I did the market study , there is one company that is coming up with new ideas and services..
Dev looked at Vishaka in question..
Vishaka with a chuckle: I mean, I did study about them.. recently only it is picking up well. So I think if we give the contract to them, we can save also..
Dev: how?
Vishaka: I mean it is just coming up well in the market and they may be thrilled to get our contract, and we can bargain too..
Dev: good.. but which is this company..
Vishaka: Indian Paints..
Dev's eyes gone wide and asked: what?
Vishaka: yes sir you look at this file and then decide..
Dev took the file from her but before looking into it he asked: did you really study about this company..?
Vishaka: ha Sir.
Dev looking back into open laptop: I mean, who own this and all???..
Vishaka: what is the need for that Sir, we need to stick to their work, you always say that. And if we can get a quality service in better rate, why we need to think the other side of it..
Dev looking at vishaka: ok , I don't have any problem..
Vishaka: thank you Dev Sir,.. I will surely make an appointment with the CEO soon..
Dev: ok… he said in a normal tone..
Vishaka left the room with a winning smile..
Dev put the file on the table and gave his kanjose smile….
Now it will be Radhika and Vishaka face to face... can't wait to see my sherni's expression when the proposal comes on her attention...e smiled little wide with the imagining his Radhika..
As they were leaving Dev stopped at Vishaka's table
Dev: Vishaka, I studied the file, sounds good., and now I demand you to proceed with this company only at any cost, and I am really impressed with your hardwork..
Vishaka proudly looked at everyone, hearing Dev's praise in front of everyone.. her shoulder went high with the proudest. Dev gave a smirks smile and walked away as he realized how much one study on things before coming up with suggestions. Vishaka might have got some surface news about IP, and without even looking at the driving people, she concentrated on the company's service and quality delivery. One way that is good for now, let see how everything will come out.
As he reached home he found the atmosphere very calm and quiet.. Birju comfortably doing his work. Daadi chatting on phone. He felt a relief with a thought So today Radhika is totally free.. He went up to his room. found Radhika standing at the balcony, he joined her at the balcony...
Radhika: you are here already!!!! Raising her eyeballs up.. Kanha is so kind..
Dev: what?!!!
Radhika: have you had dinner?
Dev: what a question Radhika? I just came in, didn't even change
Radhika: come come, let me help you ok, come
She pulled on his wrist and forced him inside, and Dev just followed her seeing her actions.
And within minutes she pushed him to the washroom to get freshen up
The minute he stepped out from there, ..
Radhika: Ready!!, good boy, now, come let's have dinner quick..
Dev held her shoulder, to stop her: what happened today? You missed me so much.. bringing his face closer to hers..

Dev feeling little naughty , seeing her so free: ok... give me a lovely kiss first..
Radhika looked at him in a very normal way , and brought her lips closer to his and gave a quick peck: ok here, and turning herself now let's go..
Dev cornered his eyes: what was that?/.. in confusion…
Radhika in her bubbly way: kiss, you only just asked right, how can you forget it so quick, still seeing his confused face, in normal tone , Radhika: arre baba, you asked for one na just now. now come with me,...
Radhika turned to look at him: what?
Radhika with a beaming face: that's what I want to do too..
Dev with a beaming face: really.!!!!. I know Radhika, we will talk and talk and talk..and… he tried to give her a hug,.
Dev on their way down the steps: Radhika, if you want to go out, we can..., its been long due, what you think? He didn't get any replies and found radhika mumbling something herself as she climbed down with skipping odd steps…
Dev went along with Radhika with a smile.
, Radhika helped Birju with quick dinner set up.. daadi also rolled her eyes seeing Radhika's quickness. She excused saying she will have it later..
Dev and Radhika had quick dinner and came back to their room.. Dev closed the door behind and looked at her passionately, and a small chirpy lovely smile appeared on his face , he thought: today I am so happy, when I heard Vishaka's comments feel like the time is nearing, i can't wait the world to know that you are mine Radhika, maybe it is good to wait till you complete your college... and now you are completely free after a long time.
Radhika got scared but then she tried to smile instantly to please him completely..
Dev: you look beautiful tonight RAdhika. its been long since you came this closer to me, or you will be in your deep sleep with shhh sound.. either it is your study or assignments, or project work, or my business trips that was keeping us apart.
Dev firmly confirmed it : ha.. but why you are acting so normally when you promised me that you will stay closer to me.
Dev: that's my RAdhika.. he put her slowly onto the bed..
Radhika surprisingly : What are you doing!!!! And then in a normal tone: I am not feeling sleepy..
Dev: I know, let's talk...
Radhika quickly sat on the bed: ha lt's talk,One second, ok.
Saying that she crawled down from the bed and went to her table and brought a heavy book..
Dev looked at her actions puzzled..
She held his hand and forced him to come near to her table and she asked him to sit on the chair, she brought another chair closer to him..
Dev was looking at her so puzzled..
Radhika: you told me, you can help me right? this finance part is so confusing, and the big numbers are chocking my neck.. please make me understand this...pease...I need to do one assignment on this and if I don't understand it, how will I do it..
Radhika looking innocently: ha…
Dev brought a forceful smile: nice to know..
Radhika in a very spirited tone : now start.. this is what I need, this is the portion I need to cover for my assignment.. and… she kept on going and Dev just listened cold heartedly..
As if in a dream, he took the book from Radhika and just glanced at it, and tried to read blindly some time, to get the situation in., then started explaining to her about it.. Radhika was curious and was asking him questions, Dev totally got into the finance part.. time ticked by.. Dev kept on explaining… and Radhika curiously made notes… finally he thought he made a conclusion from it, he looked at Radhika.. his eyes gone wide as he saw the sleeping form of Radhika in that chair.
Radhika in her sleep : ok then .. how these numbers are connected?
Dev: radhika wake up..
Radhika again in her sleep: ha, the project is ours..
Dev lost his patience.. he lifted her in his arms and put her to bed..
radhika: blanky please..
Dev: so you are awake..
Radhika but squeezed in showing chills, Dev put the blanky over her…
Dev went to her table and looked at the notes she made and then closed all the books and turned the lights off and joined her in bed.. Radhika just wrapped her arms around him and slept in his warmth..
Dev tried to smile as his hand stroked on her back, whatever, when it times to sleep, you just need my shoulder, he placed a small peck over he forehead and tried to smile again imagining her hurries when he came in and his plans for the night following her words.
A giggle escaped from his throat and soon he heard her sound near his ears: shhh

Next day morning Dev found radhika flying around the table and turning pages with very frustrating face..
Dev: what happened?
Radhika very anxiously : did you explain everything to me last night?
Dev: why?
Radhika: nothing... but I think you forgot to explain the last part..
Dev smiled and in a very normal tone : ha, because I felt sleepy and you said its ok, and you can figure it out easily..
Radhika in confusion: did i say that!!!!
Dev : ha.. why? you only forced me to go to bed, forgot this quick, that is this Radhika? then i went to bed, and you were reading yourself, and you said later that you got everything well.
Dev: i don't know, that's what you told me..
Radhika affirming herself: then I should have got it...
Dev: you have any doubt?
Radhika: no... not at all...
then stood there trying to figure out that part that Dev mentioned and nowhere in her head it was coming up, she turned the pages of that book to confirm it..
Dev: Radhika, now get ready quick, you are getting late.. your bhayya may get anxious..
Radhika: ha... I am ...
flaring her fingers out, she kept on mumbling something.. her lips were moving.. Dev controlled his laugh... and totally enjoyed confused Radhika getting ready to college.
Radhika noticed that corner tucked smile on Dev's lips , she paused
Radhika in a doubt: Don't you think you are so happy today morning, uaable to take that smile from your face
Dev suddenly controlling his theif smile, adjusting his tie: no Radhika, I am always happy like this
Radhika in doubt: really
Dev coming near his Radhika: um, then touching her shoulder: ha, seeing my Radhika getting ready for college, feel like I am seeing you for the first time getting ready, feel like this color is new on you,
Radhika surprisingly looked at her purple salwar, thinking how many times I wore this!!
Dev reading her mind; Ha Radhika, I know what you are thinking, but you know what each time it just adds beauty to my darling, and my sweeties face just get so radient with its shade
Radhika rolling her eyes: hu?
Dev getting more passionate with his talk, and his sweet approach, made radhika to step back
Dev realizing it and controlling his inner laugh, more passionate way: why you are moving back RAdhika, see you are so busy, so only I am not getting enough time to share my happiness with you, now you asked and you are in a good mood, I thought 'ok, let me share my happiness with you'

Coming back to reality , and seeing Dev's lips nearing her neck, Radhika in confusion: ye aap ko aaj kya hogaya?

Dev tried to take away her duppatta to clear her neck skin, Radhika shaking her body, held her dupatta and ran away quick from his close approach.
Radhika: I need to go to college, and I am worried about my

Dev: then start quick, its only 20 mts left to start your college
RAdhika looked at the clock and then : Oh Kanha, it is Prof. Joseph, he will fry me if I get late, let me run
Dev saw her figure disappearing out soon with the grab of her bag. All his controlled laugh came out quick as she slipped out from the room. Few seconds clicked away and he paused to take that breath in, and tried to relax, his eyes satred as he saw Radhika peeking back from the door side as if asking him :what was that????
Dev looked at her blindly, and paused self and adjusting his tie tight, he cornered his eyes one more time to see her face...
