While Maan and Geet were about to leave for the village tour her Baba came to them.
Baba:"aap log aaj jo dekhne ja rahen hain who kaphi badal gayaā¦ jo Geet ne dekha tha usse kahin jyada tarakee huee haiā¦. Aur yahan hee nahi aass pass ke gaon me bhi jo tarakee hue hai who sab aapkee Dadi ji ne kerwaya haiā¦"
Maan:"kya.. yeh sab dadima ne kerwaya haiā¦. Jisse dekh ker Geet itnee khush ho rahee theeā¦."
Baba:"Haan.. Geet bete tujhe yaad hai na unhone tujhse wada kiya thaā¦. Itnee acche tarakee hui hai jo beta tu chah ker bhi itnee jaldi nahi ker pateeā¦.."
Tears come to Geet's eyes remembering everything that she had said to Dadima at the beginning and how rude she wasā¦. Not trusting her she had got the deal paper signed..
Maan understood what was going in Geet's mindā¦. He just held her hand and took her outā¦
They enjoyed the tour out 1stā¦ geet was happy to see her village and Maan was happy to see her happinessā¦. He had never considered himself as a social service Manā¦ he thought he was just a practical business man but happiness of his loved ones always came before for him than his own choiceā¦. So today he was just happy to see the development for Geet's happinessā¦. She was surprised to see how well everything was getting managedā¦. Hospitals, schools, girls education special arrangement etcā¦.. Dadima had really done a fantastic jobā¦. She would have never been able to do it in such a wonderful managed wayā¦. It was definitly the work of good will, power, money and experienceā¦ other than goodwill she was behind in everyway from Dadima in her older situation.
Then they reached back homeā¦ and Tejji was also backā¦ he greeted Maan with full respect and showered his elder brother love to Geet and Geet being his darling sister was making all sort of talk and nakhra to himā¦..
Maan was touched to see it but a sudden pain that was hiding behind him took himā¦. Geet did not trust himā¦.. he did not say anything but was almost whole time till dinner other than making courtesy talkā¦ but Geet saw himā¦. She knew what was going in Maan's mind as even if Maan was talking something to others he just avoided talk to Geetā¦. The thought had overtaken him and he just wanted to avoid talking to herā¦.
Geet could not bear to see thisā¦ she had hurt himā¦. She had always been doing wrong but today she had realised itā¦ maan had kept a lot of patience and never asked herā¦. He had just been giving and showing his loveā¦. She loved him as well but have not been able to show himā¦ and not telling him things which showed him that she did not trust him had made things worseā¦. She can't bear to see him bearing this painā¦. She decided she will express her love and trust on Maan but Maan was not giving her any chance and if she delayed things can get worstā¦.
After dinner... Maan prefers to go to terrace as it had been so much praised by lucky as his favorite place and he wanted solaceā¦
Geet in her room..
Geet(ST):"I will somehow tell everything to Maanā¦. He takes care of me more than meā¦. If I tell him everything and speak my heart out I am sure he will take care of my wishes more than meā¦. Aur abb main apne baare me nahi sirf Maan ke bare me sochungeeā¦ unke khushee mujhse pehle hai mere liye per main jo jatatee hoon who bilkul hee ulta hota haiā¦. Jab who mere pass aate hain to main unhe dur ker detee hoonā¦. Abb nahi Geetā¦. "
Geet:"Geet tu unkee haiā¦ unke liye jee jaise who sab tere liye kerte haiā¦. I will go and talk to him nowā¦ he is all alone there"
In the terrace there is khat and few chairsā¦ When Geet reaches terrace she see's Maan sitting on chair in Deep thought
Maan(ST): "I am not sure if Geet is with me today because I keep doing for her and she is being with me as a gesture of respectā¦ she is attracted to me I know but does she love meā¦. Mere pass ane se who ghabra jatee haiā¦ mujhse apne gam nahi share kerteeā¦. No I can't do thisā¦.. I need to be clear of our relationshipā¦.."
He was in his thought when Geet cameā¦. She was already getting nervous as she had so many things to talk to Maan and his being in serious mood and thoughtfull made her more nervousā¦.
She went and slightly tapped on his shoulder to get his attentionā¦. Maan's thought was broken by this..
Maan: "Tum??? What are you doing here at this late hoursā¦. Go have a nice sleepā¦ we are leaving tomorrow morning"
Such a distant voice from Maan made her more nervousā¦ she was going to talk her heart out to Maan today and she needed him to be in his usual light mood as he always be with herā¦. Why had he to make things so tough for herā¦..
Geet(ST):"Nahi aaj hee baat ker leti hoonā¦. If delayed his mood is not going to get betterā¦ it's going to get worse only"
Geet: "wohā¦ wohā¦ I needed to talk something importantā¦.."
Maan: "you don't need to talk anything important to me just because I am upsetā¦ I will be fine after a whileā¦ go get some nice sleep"
Geet(ST): "yeh to suruwat wale kadhos Maan ban gaye hainā¦nahi nahiā¦ Geet you need to talk."
Maan: "Anyways its not good that we two stay alone here at this hourā¦."
Geet(ST): "Geet say something"
Geet:"Kaise baat ker rahe hain Maanā¦. Aap mere mangetar hai aur hamaree shadi hone wali hai phir isme aise galat baat kya hai jo hum dono yahan akele haiā¦."
This made Maan more angry
Maan :"ohhh so just because we are getting married its OK for you to stay here with meā¦. And nothing elseā¦ right Geetā¦.. no other reason that we can stay here with each other aloneā¦."
Geet(ST but a little loud):"ho gaya ker diya na garbar"
Maan:"What did you sayā¦."
Geet:"Me no no nothingā¦.. aur haan yehi to main keh rahe theeā¦ sirf yeh baat thore hee haiā¦."
Maan:"Achcha???ā¦. Really???to aur kya baat haiā¦. Main bhi to janoonā¦ aur kya rishta hai humaraā¦."
Geet(ST):"Babaji.. aaj yeh meri mushkil badha kyun rahe hainā¦ only if he can let me talkā¦ā¦"
Maan:"Geet I am waitingā¦."
This jerked Geet of her thought and something suddenly comes from her mouth
Geet: "who Maan aap bohut thake haiā¦. I will bring some oil and massage on your head.. aram milega aapoā¦"
Maan: "kya??? Geet if you don't want to talk something sensible please don't waste my time and your timeā¦.. and yes don't worryā¦ I won't stop caring for you so go and have a nice sleep"
Geet again slaps her head for her sillynessā¦.. She takes a deep breath thrice so that now she can talk to Maanā¦. She had to do it nowā¦. His anger was scaring herā¦. Her lovable Maan's anger was not bearable by herā¦..
Maan was watching her breathing Dramaā¦..
Maan:"ho gayaā¦ got all the fresh airā¦now go and sleepā¦"
Geet: "Sleep sleep sleepā¦ I won't sleepā¦. Kab se sawal pe sawal kiye ja rahen hainā¦. Bolne bhi nahi dete jo bolna haiā¦. Kitnee himmat ker rahee hoon kabse bolne kee aur nervous ker rahe hain mujheā¦.. now only if you can be quite I can speakā¦."
Maan turned the other side in frustrationā¦.
Geet:"Haanā¦ aise heeā¦ baas aise he chup rahiye aur bolne dijiye mujhe jo bolna haiā¦ aur abb ek sabd bhi nahiā¦."
Maan turned and opened his mouth to speak but she signaled him to stopā¦.
Geet: "Goodā¦ā¦"
Geet: "who Maan I want to tell you somethingā¦.. I am gathering courage please keep patience while I talkā¦. Please Maanā¦. I know you are upset with meā¦. Give me one chance pleaseā¦."
This calmed Maan downā¦.. he decided to let her speakā¦.
Geet:"Maan" she again took a deep breath in and out "Maanā¦ I trust you more than I trust myselfā¦.. please believe meā¦."
Maan:"Geetā¦." She kept her hand on her lips to stop him from talking
Geet:"let me tell you all my heart wants to tell you but don't have gutsā¦. I know Maan you will take care of my feelings my need more than me and on this dateā¦ I trust you more than anyone else for any support I needā¦."
Maan was listeningā¦
Geet: "You thought I don't tell you about me because I don't trust you but Maan it's not like thatā¦ I don't have courage that truth myselfā¦ I keep running away from it and that's why I don't tell you anything.. as when I will tell you I will have to face it tooā¦."
Maan:" Geet in that caseā¦ please don't"
Geet again stopped himā¦..
Geet:"no Maanā¦ I need to tell you thatā¦ I can't let my past haunt me and spoil my life with youā¦ just because I have hidden this truth from you I feel guilty and cannot open up with youā¦. Maan I want to give myself completely to youā¦. I want to be your Geet and this I can do only if I open up completelyā¦ so please let me do soā¦.."
Maan was feeling guilty of his rough behavior with Geet a while agoā¦..
Maan: "Geet sorry.. I behaved so rudlyā¦."
Geet:"Maan pleaseā¦ mujhe bilkul bura nahi laga aapke gusse kaā¦. I felt I am with someone who is my ownā¦. Who have authority on meā¦.. I have been missing this whole my life ā¦. Please don't take away this pleasure from meā¦."
Maan smiledā¦. And that was Geet's heavenā¦. Even Geet did not know when she fell so badly for Maanā¦ how he made this happen to herā¦
Geet: "Maan I will tell you the part of my truth that I knowā¦.. and how I feel about itā¦."
