They did aartee of Maan and welcomed him.. they offered water and then they were taken for lunch as Geet announced they were very hungry… It was a simple homely food. At 1^st maan hesitated but as it was offered from Geet's family and that too with so much respect he started to have it and later also started relishing it. It was a lot different than what he eat outside or from from his cook

Geet's Mom:"Geet tune kabhi kuch banaya hai ya nahi chte sahabjee…. Mera matlab hai Damadji ke liye aajj tak"

Geet realized that she has never done so…. she looked at Maan who raised his eyebrow for answer

Geet was not into cooking, she was either busy with her studies or her social activities as cooking was mostly done by her mom. It was not that Geet she didn't knew cooking but it was definitely not her forte.

Geet: "who Maa… abhi tak nahi per abb jate hee kuch banaoongee inke liye…."

Maan just said in jest: "Dekha aapkee betee ne mujhe aaj tak kuch bana ker bhi nahi khilaya"

But Geet felt bad that she really have not done something special for Maan which he have been doing from beginning… He does things for her even without her asking for anything and what have she done for him till date

Maan: "aare Geet kahan kho gayee.. main to bass mazak ker raha tha…."

Then they all were taken to a sitting area….

Maan: "Geet tum jaaoo sabse baaten karo…. itne dino baad mili ho…. Sham ko tumhe apna gaon bhi to dekhna hai aur mujhe bhi dikhana hai…."

Geet:"aare nahi Maan app bhi baithiye na…"

Nadini and Lucky: "haan jijajee… hume bhi aapse baaten kernee hai"

Baba: "haanji…. Aap yahan aaye hain yeh itnee badi baat hai humare liye…. Waise bhi jo gaon yeh aapko dikhayegee who isse jayada ya humse jyada to aapka hai ji"

Maan: "Mera kaise ho sakta hai… main to yahan pehlee baar aaya hoon"

Baba:"aap to ji vaade vaade kaam kerte hain tou ji aapko nahi pata…. Iss gaon ke aur aas pass ke kayee gaon ke jayada to jameen aur sabkuch aap he ka hai…. Aapkee Dadiji ke humper aur gaon walon per itne ehsaan hain kee kya kahen ji… unkee saree baaten humare sar annkoon per…."

Maan:"yeh aap kaise baaten ker rahen hain…. Ho sakta hai jameen humara ho per isse sanjote ap hai … ispe mehnat aapkee hai aur iske sapne bhi aap bunte hain to fir humara kaise hua… Geet apne Baba ko samjhaoo aise baaten na karen….."

Baba:"yeh kya batayegee ji…. Isne to Savitri Devi ji se uchee awaz me baat kerne kee jurrat ker daali… who to unke hee bada dil hai jo isse maaf he nahi kiya… aapke jaise pote ke haath me iska haath daal diya…. Yeh bhi nnahi jaantee kee iskee jindagee unkee amanat hai….."

Maan: "uss waqt Geet ne jo kaha ya kiya usme iskee koi galtee nahi thee…. Aur iskee zindagee dadima kee amanat kyun hogee.. aapkee beti hai yeh"

Baba: "Kya kahon ji main aapko…. " Geet was sitting silent… She was neither able to move or say a word.. her heart was beating faster…

Baba: "Geet meri beti hai yeh mereliye kitnee garv kee baat hai…." Geet took a breath of relief.

Baba:"per sab to unka diya hua hai…."

Maan:"Matlab????"

Baba:"aapkee Dadima ke.. main kya kahoon…. unke bade ehsaan hain mujhper…. Unhone agar Geet ko mujhe nahi diya hota to main itnee pyaree betee ka pita kaise ban pata… kitna nak uchcha kiya hai isne mera"

Maan:"kya???? Main kuch samjh nahi paa raha hoon…" now he was getting curious and Geet was just keeping her patience….

Baba: "iskee aapse shadi ho rahee hai aur isne aapko kuch bataya nahi…." He gave angry glare to Geet…. Maan would be Geet's husband and he thought it would be good for Geet's future that her husband knew all about her… Geet was not doing right and it was his duty to make things clear to Maan

Baba:"Nandani.. lucky tum dono bahr jaoo aur aapna aapna kaam dekho…. "

After they left half heartedly

Baba:"aur Rano tere roone se karwee sachayee nahi badlegee…."

Baba: "aapko saach janna chahiye… Geet meri beti hai per…. per ji humne isse janam nahi diya" his heart broke into several pieces while speaking….. Rano went inside running and crying

Geet's patience was lost at this word(she almost shouted): "Baba baas bhi kijiye…. Aapko mera yahan aana nahi pasand to Maan hum abhi hee wapas chalte hain…."

She was not in her senses and did not know what she was saying… she just wanted to stop her Baba…. His words were piercing every vains of her…. She ran and went inside…..

Maan was completely shocked… shocked with what he heard … shocked with Geet's violent behavior over this…. He was completely confused and felt bad at the way geet talked to her Baba…. He did not knew that this was one thing that made her hysterical.

Maan felt bad for her Baba who was being so humble from the very beginning…. He went inside to find Geet…..

Her Baba on the other side felt bad for how Geet behved in front of Maan but said nothing.

Maan:"Geet…. Geet where are you….. " her Mom saw Maan and showed him the room where Geet was…

He saw geet was crying but he was upset with her behaviour

Maan:"yeh kya tareeka hai apne Baba se baat kerne ka….. he is such a humble man and this is the way you behave with your parents"

Geet came little to her senses listening Maan talking

Tears still coming out: "Maan who main…."

Maan: "kuch nahi Geet tum kuch mat bolo…. You don't want to tell me anything…. that's fine… I won't ask you… have I anytime asked you about yourself… it's up to you whatever you want to tell me but how can you behave that way to your father….. "

Scolding her he goes away from there to apologise to her Baba

Geet was feeling very bad now... she had never shown disrespect to her father but this one realization that she was not their own daughter was not digestible by her and it made her do something that she never wanted to do…. She was also feeling bad for Maan

His words " You don't want to tell me anything… that's fine… I won't ask you… have I anytime asked you about yourself… it's up to you whatever you want to tell"

Geet (ST):"Maan you have all right to know about me…. Apne mujhe apnee zindagee me puree tarah se shamil kiya hai…. Apne khushee ke pehle meri khushee dekhte hain aur main…. Main kya kertee hoon… aapko woh tak nahi batatee jiske aap haqdar hain…. Aapka haq hai mere bare me sab janna… yeh zindagee saup rahee hoon main aapko phir bhi begana bana rakha hai…."

Geet(ST):"per kya karron Maan… main iss sachaiyee ka khud samna nahi kerna chatee… per aabb aur nahi… main khud aapko sab bataoongee…. Main apne dard ko aapse jyada importance kaise de rahee hoon…. "

While Geet is in her thought her Mom enters:"Geet jamaijee aise kaise bahar gaye… tune unse bhi koi bure tareeke se baat kiya hai kya…."

She was shaking her head in no as words were not coming but her Mom did not notice as she was very angry

Rano:"Geet…. Aajj jo tune kiya hai na apne Baba ke saath who agar Nandani, Lucky ya Teji koi bhi kerta na to tujhe pata hai…. Tere Baba ne to wahan hee usse tamacha maar dena tha…. Per tu thee isliye who yeh ghoot pee gaye…"

Geet:"yehi to Maa… kyun mujhse yeh bemani…. Kyun mujhe nahi mara Baba ne… mere hisse sirf aap logon ka pyar kyun hai thappar kyun nahi…. Yehi baat tarpatee hai mujhe…. Paraya banatee hai…. Itna daat kya diya aapne mujhe iska bhi bura lagega aapko…. Sabke saath to aisa nahi kerte aap…"

Geet:"Maan agar haq se aker mujhe daant sakte hain to Baba kyun nahi…. Main unkee betee hoon to danta kyun nahi mujhe……"

She hugged her Mom and started crying… her Mom understood her pain…. But they could not go beyond their limits with Geet

Geet then stopped crying to relieve her Mom from pain….

Rano: "achche se Jamai jee se baat ker lena baad mein… kitna pyar kerte hain tujhe.. aur jaa aabb Baba se baat ker…. "

Geet brought Lassi for both Maan and Baba….

Geet:"Baba yeh lassi……" her baba smiled and took lassi from her… he was relieved that Geet was now not upset…

Baba:"Jao… Damadji ko bhi de doo…."

Geet went near Maan… she did not have guts to speak to him and he was not in mood to look at her…

Geet: "Maan Lassi… " he kept himself busy with the book near him….

Geet again tried: "Maine banayee hai….. lijiye na…."

Maan still looking at book: "table per rakh do, main le lunga…."

Other than angry he was frustrated that Geet still did not have trust in him…. It was giving him pain…. It was not that he did not know all about her that gave him pain…. She was not ready to share everything with him yet was what giving him pain….

Not gaining her full trust was giving him pain…. Geet somewhere realized what was troubling Maan… he had done his best to make her feel at top every time but what has she done…..

Geet again tried to speak: "Maan lijiye na lassi…. Kaisa bana hai???"

Maan(ST): "yeh main kya ker raha hoon… yahan main Geet ke khushee ke liye aaya hoon…. Apne dard keliye main usse upset kaise ker raha hoon… aajj uska din hai…."

He takes lassi and tastes it "achchi banee hai… bohoot acche…." He tried to lighten the mood

Geet also tried the same… she will talk to Maan later but she needed 1^st to get him out of his bad mood

Geet: "Maan you please take some rest…. You will come with me to take look at village right??…."

Maan:"Off course… that's why I am here"
